Exclusive: General Hospital's Tracy Quartermaine Crashes The Chew
By Michael Logan
Oh, hell no! The General Hospital relish wars will escalate next month when Tracy Quartermaine — the witch-on-wheels played by Jane Elliot — learns that her nephew and arch-rival, A.J. Quartermaine (Sean Kanan), has been booked on The Chew to show off his Pickle-Lila recipe. The news has Tracy conspiring to get her keister — and her recipe — on the same episode, and she enlists the help of new business partner Nikolas Cassadine (Tyler Christopher). The Tracy-A.J. "Clash of the Condiments" contest — featuring The Chew hosts Mario Batali, Carla Hall, Daphne Oz and Michael Symon — will air on GH May 13-14. Elliot shared some of the delicious deets with TV Guide Magazine.
"It was so much fun taking our little relish show on the road!" says the Emmy-winning star, who flew to New York with Kanan and exec producer Frank Valentini to shoot the sequence on the actual set of The Chew. "It was a whirlwind trip. I got in late on a Sunday night and checked into the Trump Hotel at 11 p.m. with my one little bag, like a high-priced hooker. We shot the next day and I was back on a plane — all in under 24 hours. The taste-off is absolutely hilarious and The Chew hosts were so game and cute. Absolutely darling. Love them!"
Do Tracy's plans go off without a hitch? Hardly. "Nikolas gets cold feet about sabotaging A.J. and he traps Tracy in her hotel with two beefy bodyguards to keep her away from The Chew," Elliot says. "Tracy miraculously gets away and bursts into the studio while A.J. is being interviewed, much to his chagrin." Adds the actress: "Frank will kill me if I say anything more. Let's put it this way: This is the denouement of the relish storyline and things are going to take a very interesting turn."

||I don't watch GH but I may tune in for this show. ROFL Haven't watched in years except the first time they had Scorpio return and was disgusted with the way they portrayed him. I always loved witchy Tracy and this actress has a great comedic talent too. Thanks Daytime!!|

||Thank you for posting! The relish storyline is probably my A or B storyline for this soap and I cannot wait to see Tracy crash the set of The Chew! Love Pickle Lila but can't STAND that AJ got his hands on it. Am hoping for a Tracy Q win (the show better not think the audience is team AJ, especially since Nik is firmly en enemy of that jackass) and hope that whatever Tracy and Nik rename Pickle Tracy is catchy and makes that relish FLY off shelves. Take that, AJ! Jerk.|
