I enjoy the live tweeting on Days but since I live in the CST I get
the show they are tweeting about an hour later LOL.
I am sure it is the same for everyone in the
PSt & MST They can catch the tweets but have to wait several hours to see that actual episode

While trending on twitter & Facebook likes is all fine & dandy
what currently matters are the Ratings, Market Share & Demos
In essence Advertisers/ commercials provide the $$$ for tv shows so even if a show is fantastic the chances of it surviving are pretty slim to none if the ratings suck.
Even if a show has decent ratings they still have to attract the Demos desired by their sponsors
Right now Days seems to be doing OK in the ratings & they seem to be doing pretty well
in terms of the Demos desired by soap sponsors .
As for Neisen last time they asked me to keep a tv diary it was in 15 mins blocks
