I'm happy to see Peggy McCay nominated. She's not a lead actress, but at almost 90 she's so good, she still deserves it.

And, damn it, Kate Mansi was robbed for the second year in a row!
Maybe if KM had got to do something other than pimp her mother's lovelife and moan about her virginity she would have stood a chance.

And no Days actors or supporting actors? Maybe how well you can strip isn't the only criteria for nomination.

It's very telling that DAYS was the only soap not to get a Best Writing nomination LOL

Here's who I'd like to win:
Best Drama: BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL
Best Actor: Peter Bergman or Michael Muhney
Best Actress: Susan Flannery
Best Supporting Actor: Billy Miller
Best Supporting Actress: Katherine Kelly Lang
Best Younger Male Actor: Chandler Massey
Best Younger Female Actress: Jacqueline Mackenzie Wood

Kate Mansi had Jack's death as a reel. I don't know if she submitted those scenes, but they were good. Does anyone know what the cutoff date was for scenes eligible for the Emmy's?

I can't believe that both Sharon Case and Robin Mattson were not nominated.

I don't think there has ever been a year in which there has been so many nominees that I'm rooting against. Case in point....Muhney. Aside from being a cocky prick who squeals on his cowrkers, I truly believe him to be one of the worst actors in daytime. I don't get why some in the press rave about his stiff performances. I'm also rooting againsst KA from OLTL and GH. Someone needs to tell the poor girl she is a sh*tty actress and stop giving her false hope that she'll be great by nominating her for an award she doesn't deserve.

Another thing I don't get is why so many feel Ari Z. is entitled to win best supporting actress. She's good, but there are better alternatives and while I only watch Days off and on, I don't remeber her wowing me last year. KKL should win that category. While I'm not her biggest fan, that b*tch acted her ass off during Stephanie's death scenes. However, I doubt she will win because I hear she has made a few enemies. Its hard for me to root for MCE and JC because their characters suck. Their good actresses, but uggghhhh...

Susan Flannery should without a doubt win best actress. Her death scenes were splendid. I don't know how Stafford got nominated. That sh*t is a joke. Do I need to pull up her miscarriage scenes. Awful doesn't even begin to describe her.

I'm also rooting against best YR and any category. YR was a mess in 2012. BB should win best show.

Y&R is clearly still taking advantage of the voting system, but I'm guessing Muhney won't be going on his crusade to fix the Emmys now that he finally got his nomination.

JT from GH better win!
And in what universe is PM a lead actress on DOOL?!

I hope Ari Z wins.

I don't understand how Y&R got all those nominations. Honestly, they don't deserve a whole lot. IMO

I don't know which is more shocking: Lindsey Morgan being nominated or Peggy McKay being a lead actress! I think the last time PM was a lead actress we found out Bo is Victor's son!

I would love to see Ari win, but honestly I don't see it happening.

I think JMB is a lock! I went to a fan event of Ric Hearst's one year where he said if JMB didn't win the Emmy that year he would eat his hat. I don't think she won that year. Hmmm...where's Ric?

Oh, and ALL of the supporting actors suck. Billy Miller is so blah now. He plays his character so lifeless. Jeff Branson's character was truly turned into sh*t under MAB's reign when he was used to make Phyllis come across as some irresistible cougar. I cannot stand Spinelli, so I would hate to see BA get that award. I would remove that and the younger actress category for this year, LOL.

I'm sorry but if Ari doesn't win this, it's as big a robbery than when that chick from GH beat out Eileen Davidson playing 5 roles back in the day!
Actually, it was Cynthia Watros from GL that won against Eileen and as much as I too wanted Eileen to win that year, robbery it wasn't. Both actresses gave the performances of a lifetime and the contest was between the 2 of them from day one.

As elated as I am that KKL and Jessica Collins received their 1st nominations (and that Ari Z deservedly received her second), I can't help but feel that the Supporting Actress category isn't a fair fight without Robin Mattson on the list. That woman singlehandedly brought GH back to life last year and you couldn't take your eyes off of her when she was onscreen. She's never won and this was DEFINITELY her year. How the Academy chose Missy Egan and Julie Berman over Mattson is beyond me.

And I actually agree with where KKL submitted. I don't think she was lead last year and she totally was supporting Flannery in her death storyline. I'd be happy with any of the 3 actresses I named winning the trophy, but no matter who wins, I'll still feel that it's a CRYING SHAME that Robin Mattson won't be up there giving her acceptance speech after 4 decades in daytime.

I hate it when they snub the MOST deserving performer of the entire year. And this year, that was Robin Mattson.
