Roy Vongtama, who will be appearing in several episodes as Chad's cancer specialist, Dr. Landrum, is the real deal. Vongtama is not only an actor, but an oncologist as well...

Wow, this guy's been really focused on oncology since he was 16. Wonder if he lost a family member to cancer then. And he became an actor while he was a resident. A good release?
He's been a man of few words on Days so far. I guess we'll see him again soon.
