||Im thinking the show was auditioning for other roles including this one and some actor really caught their eye enough to cast them as a recast Will (thats my opinion). I really dont think the show had any concrete plans to really recast Will but they found someone they weren't expecting.|

You can tell a good actor by their vocal tone, inflections, expressions & eyes. And sadly, his voice stayed the same. He made very little movement with his expressions, save for a few transitional ones. And his eyes seemed almost dead.
