I’m so happy for GH they deserve every bit of these praises and ratings. :cheer: They are the best daytime soap on right know. I :wub: this show.

||Congrats to GH! :cheer:|

I'm predicting a HUGE backlash for Y&R with this Delia story. Kinda somewhat reminds me
of GH and the Stone/Robin AIDS story. Yes, they were winning accolades and Emmys galore,
but, man, did they take a huge nosedive in the ratings. I foresee the same for Y&R. I've been perusing the
message boards, and I swear, it's like looking for a needle in a haystack to find even one person that
likes this storyline. NO ONE likes this story. Y&R and B&B had a big drop in the 18-49 demos, this week.
I'm interested to see the numbers for this next ratings release.

Just like GH when Jill Farren killed off little Jake, the ratings went up some what because people were curious.
But eventually they went right down. Killing off kids seemed to be Ms. Farren thing. I am too is also curious about rating for the show.

||GH is so deserving for the good ratings! I hope it continues!|

||I really hope YR doesn't get any gains next week. The acting has been nothing short of phenomenal, but the SL is morbid and utterly depressing.|

||Yikes at Y&R and B&B - were there lots of pre-emptions on CBS that week?|

Buh-Bye Tan of Our Lives

Good for them!

B&B is off its game.
The show is only about a handful of folks (Hopeless, Lame-Ass, Wyatt, Caroline and Rick)

||Great news for GH! It's back on its game with Robin being back.|

♥ LUCAS ♥
GH has had it for the last couple of months but of late it's just great soap, and great acting. Kudos to them. I just wish they'd decide to feature AJ...wth is up with him?
Anyway....Days is just 'there'.....nothing really happening and that is never good for a soap.
|daysmemories||Oct 21 2013, 04:48 PM Post #14|
I expect it only to get better. The new regime at GH seems to have pulled the show out of the trap other soaps like Days and Y&R have fallen into. Creating storylines that piss off the fans and revolving the show around the same set of characters.

General Hospital is literally the place to be these days.
I actually did something the other day that I haven't done in decades (!!!!): I watched one episode TWICE. :cheer:
Think it was the episode where Maxie reveals to LuLu and Dante that she wants to keep the baby. This is damned good soap opera!

||GH is pretty fabulous right now! :wub:|
|magicsteacher||Oct 21 2013, 07:28 PM Post #17|
Kudos to GH. I have started watching and right now it's way, way better than Days. More drama, more storyline movement and the sets are ten times better... not to mention the acting.
Unfortunately, Days is stuck in neutral with the same storylines and the same characters going around and around and around. BORING. :shame:

||Since I only watch Days, congratulations for Days for going up in ratings, and bringing in viewers in all demographics.|
|LanaluvsBroe||Oct 22 2013, 07:56 AM Post #19|
I couldn't give two craps about Days at this point. I will always love the show because I grew up watching it. That said, the show has become the Daniel Jonas show. TomSell's obsession with Daniel is out of control. Too many characters have been ruined and too many vets backburned for the sake of the scumbag character. The show desperately needs new writers and the character needs to backburned if not written off all together.

||Yay for GH!! It's been great lately. I couldn't care less about Days anymore. It's predictable, slow-moving and the adoration of the Orange One is so over the top and my tolerance has run completely out for it. I hope someone at Y&R wakes up soon, before Jill Farren Phelps has anymore little children wonder onto the road in the night and get viciously mowed down. That's her idea of compelling story telling. :shame:|
