True. I'm about an hour away from Canada, though, so I'm not comparing a northern based show to Miami or anything lol. Some people wouldn't envy you, but I do. I can't wait until it's cold enough for us to get snow.
I think it depends on the dress and the venue - short sleeves are OK in a wedding/cocktail attire atmosphere, but usually in a church and of course it depends on the dress whether it's appropriate or not, I've seen sleeveless dresses even strapless dresses all year long but if they are overly sexy based in a church it looks bad. I haven't seen the episode yet, but Sami's outfit (saw pics of) is horrific in a biker bar much less standing in a Catholic Church at the altar. Jenn's I haven't seen any pics of so can't comment, but Jenn always tends to go more conservative so I can't imagine it being inappropriate. But I will say Day's needs to remember they tape ahead of time so think about when the episode will air when picking out the attire and whether it would be cold/hot etc as to how the actors are dressed.
I really don't think it's inappropriate at all to wear a sleeveless dress in a church, especially to a wedding. My only thing is the weather. Where are their coats or sweaters? Cripes, we're getting TV ads for Christmas already! :o But really, my only beef is with Jennifer, who always wears sleeveless dresses.
Like I said depends on the church and the dress, sexy slutty in a church is horrible, but yes I've seen many weddings and stood in a few with strapless dresses that were/are perfectly acceptable. Also depends on the woman some women can put a dress on and make it look classy/sexy and others no matter how hard they try will always in that same dress be slutty it's all a mater of how one carries themselves. Haven't seen Jenn's dress but I rarely watch anything Dannifer related so can't comment on hers.
THIS is the kind of material that is screaming "FRIDAY CLIFFHANGER" - WHY was this shown on a Thursday??? I mean honestly, the reveal that has been 5 MONTHS in the making, gets done on a Thursday?! Umm, okay. What could be more EPIC than this, at the end of tomorrow's episode? Also, they could have still had material today and in the beginning of tomorrow, with Kristen being in the bride's room getting ready some more and talking to people, and Mar and Victor scheming, etc! Somehow the whole wedding part of it seemed a little rushed.
I agree, it felt a little bit rushed at the end but great episode.
Technically, today's episode was a season finale, the last episode of the 48th year of the show, it seems that it's important for the writers to have a big cliffhanger for that episode. Or maybe they just wanted the fallout for the show's anniversary tomorrow. Last year, they had a big reveal too, when Nicole was confronted with her lies about her dead baby.
Ah, okay! Did not know this, thank you. Well for the SEASON finale, meaning the cliffhanger for the whole YEAR, this was done just right!
LOL at EJ thinking Kristen would do the same for him. Yeah right.
Really nice EJ, saying Eric deserves to fall off his pedestal. :flipoff:
What the hell has Eric ever done to EJ? Seriously? What an ass...at the very least the fact that he's Sami's twin should really be enough for Ej to want nothing bad to happen to Eric.....
Really, what did people expect? When has EJ ever cared about the Bradys other than Sami? Why should that be any different for Eric?
This is exactly why the notion that was thrown around that EJ would throw his sister to the wolves was ridiculous, as became clear today.
It's not a matter of EJ having a reason to harm Eric, it's a matter of him having a reason to not harm his sister.
he is supposed to put his family (Sami & the children) over his other family (father, mother,&siblings) he chose sister over Sami, that will be costly, temporarily costly knowing Msrolloverandscrew but costly. How would he feel if one of his siblings had been raped and she kept it secret? He should have took Sami and told her immediately!
The DiMera's are EJ's family too. He doesn't have to turn his back on them just because he's with someone (Sami). He can have divided loyalties, most people do.
Also, if the shoe was on the other foot and Eric had raped Kristen, and Sami knew about it, Sami would most certainly not tell on his brother. And yes, EJ would be mad about it, as Sami will now be, but that's par for the course.
This is all I've been able to watch, so special thanks to LL, six, and Rhi.
I didn't hate it. I didn't think it was amazing though, lol. I haven't seen everyone else's comments yet other than to know everyone else seemed to think it was the greatest thing ever.
I'm really glad Marlena wasn't a complete idiot...just half of one. I can live with that. And I laughed right out loud when she opened the curtain to give Victor that look.
I really wanted to like the Brady sibling stuff, and I did sort of. There was one giant negative about them, but it didn't ruin the whole thing, so that was good.
I don't really have any thoughts on the Kristen/EJ stuff except that I feel badly for EJ. But his line about what Kristen "always told me" was straight out laughable since they've known each other a year.
I hate Bristen, but I'm not going to lie...I'd like to see what could have possibly been on that original DVD.
I don't feel like they do this with any other characters in other story, but they really have taken the time with Eric to set things up. From covering all their bases to set up to make him think it was Nicole to having that conversation today with John Walton...I kind of feel like Eric is the only character they have long term plans for that they stick with.

I don't think Sami would tell on Eric either, but she and Eric have a much different kind of sibling relationship than Kristen and EJ.
Today days was so good. Kristen and EJ were beyond fantastic and marlina with victor were the best of part of the show specially marlina didn't know how to play the recorder. It was hilarious. Loved it except dr tan was in there. Another thing when I looked at brady's eyes he had little teary eyes and shocked to see the video. The only thing was bothered me when victor told marlina he would never destroy daniel because he's danile god father. That means if brady get destroyed it doesn't matter as long as dr tan a perfect super hero not to get hurt or to be destroyed.
Oh. I meant to ask...did I miss something or forget something somewhere where EJ doesn't like Eric? I'm not referring to him keeping the secret. I'm referring to him talking about knocking him off his pedestal. I don't remember being aware that he had an issue with Eric. I have a vague memory of something a while back, but I didn't remember it being a big deal.
I think EJ and Kristen have major chemistry. This is seriously the first time I've ever felt EJ had chemistry with any woman. Even with Nicole, I felt like AZ has chemistry with everyone, even AS. Its not like she had more with JS. I don't know if its just ED's sex appeal but EJ and Kristen would totally work.

On the bold - why?
A) Because he obviously doesn't want to keep this secret B) Because he wants very badly for his family to be different than they are, and he keeps letting himself fall right back into the same traps. Kristen might as well have just said straight out, "Yeah, I'd never do this for you." As much as he's made fun of the Hortons and the Bradys (usually with Kate), that's totally what he wants.
Am I the only person who sees nothing wrong with wearing short sleeves inside during the fall, what with heating and insulation and everything?
And I was outside in short sleeves without a jacket yesterday, because the temperature is still around 50 F right now.
I guess it depends where you live. We have snow on the ground today.

Maybe Corday and Co. up and moved Salem to Southern California? It's 84 degrees today. Jen-Jen would fit right in.
It was bizarre how EJ was measurably more shocked at the video than Sami. She seemed kind of blase about the whole thing. Of course I guess when you've had as many wedding disasters as Sami, nothing fazes you anymore.

I'm really surprised. Even I don't really feel bad for him, and I always feel bad for him.
