Oh Abby shut up.
Send Daniel away.
Abby needs to STFU because she does not know what happened between Daniel and Theresa (which was nothing!) But there she is accusing him of cheating on her mother - and they are no longer together! Abby is so annoying.

Just simply outstanding. Better than I ever imagined it would be and as long as the wait was for it Days gave us a perfect payoff. I loved everyone's involvement.
Hope's critical evaluation as she announces, 'it's real' ^_^
Jennifer giving Kristen the stink eye
Victor's delight at catching a squirmy Kristen
Eric's shock and throwing off his robe
Marlena's tears
The list goes on...as you well know and have gleefully documented the highlights...and I agree with you all. I was just sooo pleasantly surprised by each moment. Well done, well done.

Surprise of all surprises! Rafe and Nicole have a friendship scene! About damn time they remembered how close these two once were. I love them in this respect. Nicole needed to have another voice on her side and Rafe is so intuitive and caring toward her. Thanks for that one.

Okay I'm into the Rafe and Jordan story and I certainly like how it's finally having movement BUT as sweet as that cookie scene was...they need to give these two another 'connecting' moment pronto. I hate when Days beats something into the ground like they are doing with this flashback. Sparingly Days, sparingly. Progress the story instead.

Hope's expertise on video doctoring (tilting one's head) was ridiculous (and funny).

Getting tired of seeing rafe in the hospital bed :glare:
He'll be moving to a new set soon....someone else will be needing the hospital room in December.

I admit it, I liked today's show. But, the Abby/Cameron and Rafe/Jordan at various points felt incongruous, I guess though sometimes you need your gratification delayed and they had to put something in that space.

I like Jordan (well, I like Crishell) but that cookie flashback made me think of the EJaylor scarf, which is not a good sign.

Even if it makes her a hypocrite, I actually liked Sami today. Like, I actively liked Sami today. Ali's cry acting was ... what it usually is, but the things she was expressing, theoretically or otherwise, made me feel bad for when she's gonna realize that EJ knew that Kristen raped Eric and didn't tell her.

I loved Maggie horrifically realizing that Victor ruthlessly set poor Marlena up. I loved Jennifer (finally!!!) refusing to believe Kristen any longer. Hope was great in how she kept her head cool and took control of the crowd. I felt sooo bad for Marlena.

But most of all I felt incredibly bad for Eric. Everything he so earnestly wanted to be is shot to shit.

The one flaw might be that I couldn't manage to feel bad for Brady. The pay-off was pretty good but the downside to having this have been Bristen's second go-round was that I can't look at Brady and not think "you idiot". Just such an idiot. And watching him punch Eric, knowing that Eric's processing the fact that he had been so thoroughly been duped by his rapist, didn't help.

Ari had some nice friend chemistry going on with Galen and Shawn today. I was actually surprised that Nicole and Daniel didn't discuss Jennifer, and that the Dannifer fallout was limited to the scene with Abby. Probably sad that I'm surprised, but so it goes.

Happy 48th, Days. I wish I could say you were getting better with age, but at least you can still manage to get it up now and then ... (...)

Is this Cameron's last day? If so, why aren't Abe and Theo there to send him away given that they are Cameron's only family in Salem?
When questioning a goodbye scene on Days, one must remember this: Steve & Kayla got no goodbye scene in 2009. I'm always surprised nowadays when people DO get a farewell.

Did Nathan choose to leave, or was he given the axe?

He couldn't choose to leave, he was in the first year of a 4 year contract, so the answer would be the second one!

I'm not the only one who felt sad for Hope when Eric snapped at her to get out, right?

I hope that once Eric has had time to process what happened that he turns to Hope for support & guidance. Right now, he's pretty much annoyed at everyone, and that includes Marlena. I'm sure she's going to try to convince him that she had no idea he was in the video, but I don't think it's going to do much good at the moment.
Eric is traumatized right now. And not just from being raped but from having to relive that rape in front of his friends and family and whole church. The last thing anyone should expect from him is to be rational. About anything at this point. He hasn't been thinking rationally for weeks now. We saw that from his conversations with Nicole. So if he goes off on Marlena it's understandable. I don't expect him to have any form of control over his emotions at this point. He's nothing short of a volcano that's ready to erupt.

CAMERON'S LAST EPISODE...JUST THE THIRD TIME SOMEONE LEAVES DURING AN ANNIVERSARY EPISODE:

While not officially announced as his last day, today's episode seemed to be the last episode for Nathan Owens (Cameron). If that is the case, he becomes just the third contract actor to leave the show on an anniversary episode. Lisa Trusel (Melissa) left on 11/8/88 and Lindsay Hartley (Arianna) left on 11/8/10.

It's rare for actor to earn an Emmy with just his eyes but Greg Vaughan did just that today. Well done sir. Heartbreaking performance. :'(

OMG Victor's keeping the video. He put it in his pocket. Too much!
Victor took Brady's tribute video, not the Eric/Kristin video.

That ending w/Brady manhandling Kristen was seriously scary.
Perfection. What a way to end the show. Cannot wait to see what happens next week!

You would think that was a $2,000 cookie the way they keep showing it over and over again. It's like they're desperate to get their money's worth.

Between Marlena's Wizard of Oz act, Victors give-no-fucks attitude, and Hope going full puppy tilt...

... I could NOT stop cracking up.

And then Greg Vaughn turned around and on a dime, I remembered the stakes. And then Victor spoke up, and I was laughing all over again.

(It helps that I just watched the wedding clips and didn't force myself to see the shrieking harpy, judgmental, who-gives-a-crap-if-this-character-is-leaving moments.)

Good job, DAYS. I didn't think you still had this in you.

I have been watching Days since first year ,Today's episode seemed to have 3 times the number of commercials which irritated me because I wanted them to get back to the wedding scenes ,Hated that it wasn't all wedding . The scenes with Daniel and Nicole and all the scenes that didn't pertain to the wedding also irritated me so it kept me from enjoying this as much as if whole episode had been devoted to the wedding .Loved the whole wedding scenes but the other kept it from being great in my opinion and just made it good . Eric was outstanding and Victor hilarious
