Nathan Owens (Cameron) was still listed in the credits today, but that doesn't necessarily mean he's not already gone...sometimes a name will stay a few extra weeks after the actor leaves.

Principal Guest Stars: Week of Monday 11/11/13-Friday 11/15/13

John Aniston - Victor Kiriakis
Brendan Coughlin - Tad Stevens
Aaron & Griffin Kunitz - Johnny DiMera
Ralph Waite - Father Matt
Kevin Riggin - Rory
Kyle Richards-Umansky - Casey McGraw (new)
Conrad Palmisano - Stunt Coordinator (new)

They really made Kristen completely irredeemable. Even worse than when she left in 1997. She's been written into a corner. She can't come back from this.
She could come back, but it would have to be as a total, unmitigated, black-hatted villain. After this, there's no way the character could pull off the "but I've changed" gambit again. Kristen's proved that she lives for vengeance and vengeance alone. Anyone who's known her before and buys her claim that she's turned over a new leaf should become an automatic recipient of the Brady Black "Too Stupid to Live" Award

Watching the fight scene between Brady and Eric in the church at the end of Monday's episode ...

I was seeing GV's Eric as the son of Wayne's Roman
and *not* as the son of Josh's Roman.

Is there a John / Wayne's Roman brawl to compare this to...?

I wish there were one. I do love that basketball game they had at Green Mountain Lodge (I think), where they battled it out on the court, the day after John and Marlena went skinny dipping. Victor and Marlena were on the sidelines.

I searched and found that. Interesting.

So now that Chad's gone, does that mean we'll go back to calling T "Tad"?

WHY this show tries only during sweeps?? If they really long for good ratings, why don't they write this well every single week? Someone please explain because I cannot understand.. :shame:

And on a side note, Days really, really need to start making Ericole their #1 couple.
ITA - I mean it wouldn't and doesn't have to be OTT like sweeps, but I swear they dial it in 10 months outta the year. It's been glorious not having Dannifer thrust in our face for almost a week - except brief JJ stuff (which I can tolerate). I'm even looking forward to Sami losing it (again) with EJ. And I can only imagine Sami and Marlena's confrontation. And there's still EVERYONE'S confrontation upon seeing Victor the first time.

Okay, I'm wondering if that gun w/ Marlena's prints on it will now play a role in the storyline or some future storyline?

Gabi always has a future as a hair model
Gabi's modelling story is such a crap it makes my head hurt. The show lost a great opportunity to address the unrealistic body required by models that is usually unattainable by the average American woman. There is no way in hell that a woman with Gabi's body type can be a model, unless it was a niche market. They could have done so much with this story but they chose the lazy way.
That's because this story isn't about modeling. It's about Nick's obsession with Gabi and getting her away from Sonny and Will so he can have the perfect family with Gabi and Ari.
I'm actually mad that Gabi is being portayed is so ignorant. There are so many things that don't make sense and yet, Gabi doesn't notice a damn thing. The modelling agent tells her they're willing to work around her schedule and her baby, and she doesn't find that suspect, even though having modelled before she should know how merciless the industry is and how little they care about your family life. Then, she gets the job right away without a previous casting process and test shoots with the agency. And, finally, the agent doesn't make any demands regarding an image change. Were this not staged, Gabi would be told, "You're pretty, but you need to cut your hair, have a nose job, etc." So many clues that something's not right, but Gabi's just letting the wool cover her eyes.

Then again, Ruffles and Victor are married. And Victor was worse than Kristen.

I refuse to believe that Fauxman is Eric's father. Or someone Marlena was once in love with.

FAIL
Yeah no kidding. That's what made the castle scenes repulsive and nauseating. That proved right there that it just wouldn't ever work with Roman/Marlena again. JT just doesn't have the chemistry with Deidre that all of her other leading men have had. I think that is the first time I had ever gotten physically sick watching Days. I'm surprised I survived without brain bleach or a lobotomy. The most horrific scenes ever aired! Whoever wrote those scenes and thought they would be a good idea must have been drunk or high. And Marlena getting pregnant at 59 years old! Give me a break! :eyeroll: :yuk:

Did Parker just say "Dannifer" or "Jennifer".
I really think he said "Dannifer"
He said Jennifer. That's what my Closed Captioning said. I'm hard of hearing and always watch with the captioning on.

This is what a devoted actor is to me. He gives all he's got in a performance, forget his vanity and deliberately makes himself look like $#!+, just to convey what his character is feeling.

that could work too. Jordan can be her physical therapist.

Stefano's in Salem though so really I don't think anyone's too dark to live in Salem. Of course he doesn't have any friends, but hey, Kristen really didn't either except Jen.

But would it be real or faked amnesia? With Kristen one could never be sure, and Salemites would be stupid to trust her as far as they could throw the space station.

I raised two boys, and it's so true! When girls fight the can hold a grudge for a week. When guys fight they can tear each other apart, then, "How's your neck?" "I mad a mistake." "Mine was worse". "See ya tomorrow". LOL. Today was so GOOD!!

it wouldn't matter. They wouldn't trust her for a long time and then they suddenly would and just as quickly we'd find out it was all a rouse.

Or heck, Kristen could just come back to town dressed as Susan and try to lure Brady that way. He'd go for Susan, right? :tounge:

It is completely ridiculous that Marlena knows how to disarm a gun in two seconds but can't play music or a video on a computer?!?!?!
That's easy. John taught her how to use a gun.
