I don't think they'd keep Belle away due to Brady's sorasing. EJ ruins the timelines of multiple people and he's on screen nearly every day.

Ohhh! Duh. Well, agree with the rest of your post then, lol. I just am not into relationships that are forced on the viewer. Like the writing is saying "LOOK AT THIS THEY'RE FALLING FOR EACH OTHER. ENJOY IT." So my first reaction is, nah.
Yeah, Jordan is starting to grow on me, but I'm doubtful that Jafe will. It's just not my type of couple and Rafe puts me to sleep. Whateves. As long as Jordan gets a story outside of just falling for Rafe and CS gets a chance to inject more of her personality into Jordan, I'm good.

Speaking of boring Rafe, did anybody see the video clip of BD doing his GG impression? Seriously hysterical and so spot on.
Where can I see that?

Kristen made me sick throwing Nicole's dead babies in her face. The girl has no trouble taking the most hurtful aspects of a person's life and gleefully rubbing it in. A child's death is no laughing matter.
Which proves that she would be a horrible mother herself!

does anyone else think she basically told nicole in their final scene together that her and eric made a child? could they be setting a future plot down the road? what else did she mean by the "truth" comment?

I am aware of the relation.

I just hate that this made up history is trying to be sold to me 24/7 by TPTB.

Eric/Sami were NOT raised with Brady and never referred to him as their brother in the past...he was referred as their step-brother.
I prefer this made up past to the alternative which would be that Marlena didn't raise him.
I agree on the Marlena raising him part...cause she DID raise him fully...the SORAS here really bugs me though...I don't consider Eric/Sami brother and sister to Brady AT ALL and NEVER HAVE.

This is also probably why they will not bring Belle/Shawn back either. That would 100% not jive with the current version of Brady.
Time for Brady to head out if town.

I wish Kayla had a real story.
But wait..she did have a story...it was the rape reveal that we just watched last month.

It was riveting. Totally worth the 20+ year wait.

Kayla SHOULD have a story, though. I think it's time.

You know what was weird about Caroline mentioning Susan Banks? She mentioned Susan to Susan's son without referencing the relationship at all.
LOL I loved it - she practically screamed it right in EJ's face. LOL hahaaha. I think I saw a hint of something flash across his face - like, hey's that my mom, but it was probably just EJ's annoyance at having to sit there more than anything.
his annoyance was amusing.

I loved that even though he knew that he was walking into the fire pit, he still asked if Sami needed him and she did, and them not letting go of each other's hand :wub2:

I really relished in the annoyance and discomfort personally. That scene was perfect if for nothing else Caroline's outrage. Perfect notes struck there. I am glad she didn't visibly break down anymore than expressing a need to lie down - pretty tame considering what could have happened.

That wasn't what she was doing. She was making the point that Nicole has no reason to talk/be shocked by someone making someone else take the blame for what he/she did. Look at what Nicole did. She was willing to let another person go to jail after she falsely claimed that the other person killed her baby. She did this in order to get what she wanted: Daniel. That is an horrendous accusation to make in order to get what you want. That's all Kristen was saying, and she's right. She laughs at the hypocrisy. She did it to Sami too. She pointed out that Sami tried to sell her sister. I'm glad the writers aren't ignoring this crap.

IDK what Belle has to do with it. Her SORASing makes it just as confusing. Don't you remember the scene between Belle and Sami about Sami tearing Belle's Barbies' heads off?

Goodbyes are not forever. Goodbyes are not the end.
The simply mean I'll miss you until we meet again!
Okay, so Kristen's car is upside down, flew off a cliff. Kristen is...

A) Dead

B) Kristen is no where to be found inside the vehicle. She may have been thrown from the car and never found, or she ran off and is still alive (she did jump out a second story window as Mrs. Winston and survived).

C) The Eileen Davidson double comes into play - a person matching Kristen's description is found. They soon find out that it wasn't her, but some dead chick found in the woods. Probably some woman the Salem PD never found and gave up on. ^o)

Eileen Davidson said a month or so ago that Kristen is not down and out, that she could return. I guess that means Kristen didn't kick the bucket? Characters do come back from the grave, but Eileen wouldn't know that that could happen for sure. I'm guess Kristen isn't found dead or alive. Eileen also said that she wasn't sure how her storyline was going to end (she wasn't there). The double began filming just as she was leaving I think. Basically, Eileen stated it in this order: she didn't know how her storyline would end, and that she knew a double was hired, but didn't know how that would come into play.

Eileen might know more than what she had been telling. She came out about 'Kristen not being down and out' (among other things) earlier and then in later interviews she basically said that she has no idea about much of anything. I wonder if they told her to keep her mouth closed like they did when she decided to leave back in March.

You know, if Rafe calls Jordan Cookie Monster in their wedding vows, I'm going to be sold on those two.
And she calls him Cake Boss.

We should obviously make them a fan board with all our great ideas.
I actually like them together, although I'm less thrilled about the Cookie Scarf. They're a cute couple [of people interacting who are headed toward romantic involvement], but I'm going to need something a little less frothy to really buy them.

Rafe struggling with his recovery and Jordan letting down her guard to encourage him, Jordan struggling with her past and Rafe helping her in some way. Something with some real substance. No rush. There are other things happening.

Eric and Brady are brothers through marriage.

Just because there's no blood there doesn't mean they aren't brothers. They are.

Finally watched the eppi and am able to comment.

Kristen/Eric was my second favorite confrontation to come from this. Brady/Kristen first, then Eric, Nicole, and Marlena's last (sadly). She really has some guts to try and tell HIM that he seduced her and she was his victim!!!

Johnny and Rafe, I just flove them. They're too cute.

Was anyone else as upset as me that they didn't show the Kristen tribute video? I mean, I rolled my eyes heavily at first but I really wish I knew what the heck he put on it.

Jordan/Rafe were pretty darn cute today.

And it's over :( COME BACK!!!!

First Kayla trash talks the DiMeras and then throws shade at Sami while talking to her. This is the most I have loved Kayla since the wonderful book club episode. She is definitely the highlight of the show outside of Kristen's exit.

The last few episodes have been great soap overall, but is anyone else a little annoyed that Kristen seemed to have the emotional upper hand in all of her final confrontations? I wanted to see her humiliated and groveling. But ED played her like she had won, with misplaced smirks and winks. The writers let Marlena, Eric, and Nicole sit there silently while she said the most terrible things, like they had no backbone. I though Nicole would at least slap her. *Someone* should have slapped her. Or spit on her. Or at least called Kristen out on being a pathetic loser in a way that really hit home for her. In fact it was out of character for Nicole not to at least punch her. It was not a true emotional payoff for me. And now she's gone. The only good guy not looking pathetic is Victor. John is still ruined. And the villain not only wasn't totally humiliated, she's abruptly written off before the fallout is finished. So to sum up, yes the past few episodes have been really well done. Emmy and ratings worthy. But it missed the mark which is annoying because of how perfect it *could* have been. Talk about a missed opportunity for total emotional satisfaction after a yearlong build-up. I guess I'll have to YouTube the fallout from '98 to remind myself what it felt like to see a payoff executes with perfection.

I love Kayla. I don't even blink when she's suspicious of EJ. Why wouldn't she be, all their history considered? Makes perfect sense to me. But it's kind of ironic, because while she would often be right about whatever he's up to, this time he wasn't directly involved. He did know, though, and he just let Kristen slide. Sami said if he'd known, he would have stopped things, but he knew, and he just kind of ignored it, for all intents and purposes.

It's odd. Part of me kind of sympathized with Kristen for awhile...all her wrongdoing not withstanding, but yesterday, when she turned on Eric and accused him, I couldn't help despising her. She's truly a sick individual.

Yes, I had this feeling. My feelings about Kristen are strange in that I can root on her craziness, cheer when she smirks and grins, love it when she is smug and bitchily awesome to the characters I don't like, etc. But in this case I did want her humiliated, left in some degree of speechlessness. I got a bit of that at the end of yesterday's show when Marlena left with the upper hand - loved it. But today, I was left hanging and a tad annoyed. The Eric and Kristen confrontation, for example - many levels of awesome in the beginning. Angry Eric - check. Kristen amazingly pathologically lying with this "you seduced me" bunk to his face - check. Eric not falling for the bullshit - check. Kristen finally letting her cards show - check. Great, all good, I like how this is going. And then it just....peters out. I love that Eric is worried about Nicole :wub2: ....but that's his final response? And it's irrelevant if Nicole is guilty of x-many other crimes - she wasn't of this one. So Kristen's comeback didn't even hold all that water for me - Eric could have easily countered it. But no, he didn't and she left. It totally devolved for me.

And then the scenes with Nicole - I wasn't even sure what I was looking at. I wanted SO MUCH MORE from that exchange, especially knowing it was the last scene ED would play. Why did Nicole take so long to get up - was she really that stunned? I guess so - but those were wasted seconds!!! Kristen's face when Nicole pinned her to the side of the house was villainously fabulous on one hand, but also really maddening on the other. I just wanted someone to punch or spit at her or something, fling some daggery insults, do something - just because Kristen deserved that treatment in my eyes. Maybe I am just a violent person who needs to control these impulses, lol. But I dunno, I expected more from these confrontations. On the one hand I don't want to see a woman grovelling to a man. On the other hand, yeah, I did want Kristen denigrated, esp. if that happened at the hands of Nicole. And now Kristen is gone.....ho hum. Yes she left riding high on her crazy awesome glory, but I wanted greater comeuppance.

Caroline dropping Susan's name with EJ sitting across the table was wonderful. If only EJ had spoken up.

Like everyone else, I will miss Eileen Davidson. There is no one on the show who command the screen with Kristen's entertaining mixture of evil and batshit crazy. Hopefully it won't be another 14-15 years before she returns again. Surely ED loves the character as Kristen must be a hell of a lot of fun to play. Even if she never acts again, Kristen will always be her signature role and I hope she has plenty of fond memories.
