This is the perfect WilSon scene actually! They had sex for the first time exactly one year ago
Did Will same he came home early because it was their "Sex-a-versary"? He said he missed his family.

Can we get to the bottom of how Eileen got back on the show to begin with? One story is: Y&R wouldn't share her with Days, so Sony cancelled her Y&R contract, feeling that Days need her more. Keep in mind this was the time when Y&R cleaned house. All the people given pink slips weren't sent to other shows.
Okay, Eileen was officially out of a job. She has never given any indication that she knew that her contract was being ended so she could go to Days. Quite the opposite. Months ago, she even got into it a bit in an interview. All these behind the scenes quotes were to her, people claiming that they got her back on the show to begin with, others saying that they were fighting for her to stay. Eileen said 'That's not what I heard.'
Okay, so was Eileen fired from Y&R, like so many others around that time, or was her contract purposely cancelled by Sony so she could go to Days? Maybe she'll write a novel about it.

Sami even commented that Will hates writing, I guess he found his calling in CA. He said he never had the right inspiration until his daughter was born. Sonny and A.G. inspired him to write.

Finally I can shut up complaining about Wilson for at least the next two weeks  . I was actually shocked about their scenes today. I thought maybe they'd get a peck on the kiss at most. Again, Chandler and Freddie's chemistry was back big time again. They were actually quite hot today. Go figure... Interesting that Chandler said the bedroom set would return in January but I'm guessing he forgot and meant it would be used much more come January or maybe just maybe Wilson move out on their own and get a new bedroom set. I really loved their scenes today. Nick now is starting to even annoy me. I love Blake so much but Nick is starting to become cringe worthy. And how does Gabi not see that Nick is up to something with how he's talking? I really want to see a big Sonny and Gabi fight now. As much as I have enjoyed their scenes, it's time for a good fight. So far Gabi hasn't done anything wrong though. She told Nick that she was turning down the job. But I could see where Sonny may not trust her when she says that as she has given reason not to trust her. I still feel that Kristen's exit was kind of anti climatic. Just hoping for a good fallout story wise for Brady and Eric from it. EJ and Sami were actually fun to watch today. They are so much more interesting when fighting... I thought Gabi told Nick she had not decided yet on taking the job, as she was still thinking about it. I think she needs to discuss it with her family and Will since it affects their co-parenting relationship.

This is the perfect time for EJ and Sami to finally have THE talk about how little Johnny came to be.
But I know this show, it will never happen.
They already did that. Not that they couldn't again...
They could have had THE talk about EJ having Arnould rape Sami multiple times.
Nah. That sort of thing has never been treated as rape before, so there's no reason to start now. at 9:37

decent eppi; i got a good laugh imagining Kristen jumping out of the car in her cape while it was going over the embankment though. She really is the truest Phoenix Heir. Are were absolutely sure Stefano isn't her father? Who else could survive that car crash.

We all know brady was stupid to choose kristen twice without thinking, but eric was the worst to called nicole rapist. I don't care eric got messed up on his head .He never had any proof and never believed nicole was honest with him the whole time. He always judge her in a wrong way. If he didn't have solid proof about who raped him and thinking it was nicole, why would he tell father matt he doesn't have a proof if he was poisoned? In my opinion nicole shouldn't get involve with him because eric is judgmental, rude and wanted to change nicole the way he wanted and make her to apologize to whole town. I love brady with nicole because he never wanted to change nicole for better or for worse. Brady excepted nicole for who she really is. I know brady and nicole have a special bond and hopefully they get back together, but eric i don't think he has tons of chemistry with nicole the way brady has. I hope brady fight for his ex lover nicole. I love bricole and I'll support them to the end.

at 9:37 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sBBST62Fq3E Oh, I know Days tried to change things up during the R2 story in their quest to kill EJami and sell safe. I'm not buying it though. They did that same story too many times in the past without calling it rape, so if it wasn't rape then, it's it's not now, AFAIC. So what they need to do is ignore the stunt they tried to pull.

So Kristen makes her getaway. She's gone, gone, gone ... for now. Not to be forgotten for a quite a while though I suspect.
Loved how Roman was clearly on Nicole's side! Even Vic came to Nicole's 'rescue' ... LOL! The Brady/Nicole scene was very short but it covered everything that needed to be said between those two.
Love that EJ kept digging himself in deeper and deeper. If anything Kristen's confession to him and his agreement to keep it from Sami cements my belief that Sami means next to nothing to him. She's not a DiMera by blood consequently she will always come last to him. What ticks me off is that Sami is too dumb to figure that out for herself but then she deserves to live a long and miserable life with the likes of EJ.
Good scenes between Eric and Fr. Matt - at least Fr. Matt believes him ... too bad it's not going to save Eric's 'job' for him.
EJ's lies are not about choosing any Dimera over Sami, it was first about leaving things alone and hoping nothing would come of it and they all go on to live their lives and now it is trying to make sure his lie does not come out so he does not lose Sami. As always with EJ, its all about Sami and their love and life together.
Ej chose Kristen over Sami the minute he decided to keep the secret FOR Kristen.....he chose his Dimera blood family over the family he has with Sami.....even after telling himself that lying would make him lose Sami, as it has in the past, he went on to cover for Kristen...'having her back' over Sami's brother's well being.. If you're going to mention BLOOD... They aren't even BLOOD related ;)

I thought Will was only 20yrs old, how come he drinks wine, unless it is Jesus Juice (grape) Will must be 21 now because he was drinking beer at the club opening and serving drinks to customers.

Sami's brother's well being is not Sami and like James so rightly commented in the MF interview, EJ kept the truth because he wanted everything to go on and remain the same. He chose to let sleeping dogs lie thinking it would be best for ALL of them, was it foolhardy? Sure, but its his thought process and choosing anyone over Sami wasn't part of that. I disagree completely. It was simply a choice between right and wrong. He knows the difference. His loyalty should be to Sami first and foremost. If they're suppose to have any kind of real commitment anyway. He could have actually been a hero if he'd turned Kristen in. He chose to let it happen. What he did had nothing to do with thinking he was doing what was best for everyone. He simply showed his weak character and amoral attitude. He's slimy and immature. Not a real man AT ALL.

Oh, well, that is not exactly true. One can maybe argue EJ was deeply conflicted and it's a hard thing to choose between the love and loyalty for your sister and the love for your fiance. And I have stated his decision to keep the secret was symptomatic or played on very real issues existing for EJami - if you are to admit them as a serious coupling that merits that consideration. They come from families that are, at this point, by nature at odds with each other, a fact that will probably continue to pose them with various conflicts of interest and tests of trust. But in this case, EJ did choose to protect his sister over coming clean to Sami with information she could have used to protect or help her brother. He chose to keep Sami in the dark. And at the wedding, he tried to hush hush Eric from making very important connections that would relate the video to the night he fell ill/was raped. And he is continuing to lie to Sami's face, implying that the sex depicted was consensual. He is lying to save his ass. Yes he doesn't want Sami to be angry with him, he doesn't want to do anything to jeopardize what they have by allowing the truth of his actions to come out, but that is not the same as love. That is self-preservation and survival.
I am not going to make comments now about whether EJ really does love Sami or what that "love" means. That's not up to me to say. But in this case, lying to cover his ass does not love equal. And perhaps he comes clean right away once Sami confront him tomorrow, which would be better than further digging himself into a corner. But up to this point, I feel at least the cover-up of the lie is coming from a selfish place.
His choice was not as simple as Kristen vs Sami; choosing to keep quiet and allow sleeping dogs to lie was what he thought was in the best interest of them all, leave well enough alone. Its also a very idealistic outlook that a certain amount of selfishness is not part of being in love.......people make mistakes as EJ did with keeping quiet over what his sister did, and him trying to make sure he does not lose Sami or his family does not take away from the love he has for them, more so than anything IMO it conveys how precious they are because his greatest fear is losing them. But he didn't just let things lie. He took a very proactive role in the whole thing by what he did at the church after the reveal. It would have been one thing if he stood by and didn't do anything and just let it play out, but he didn't.

Hey, Supergirl can you get me screen shot of that smiley face that EJ gives Brady in that same scene? It's right before Sami <cough> comforts Brady. Please and thank you! :hail: Posted Image She really is a bad actress.

This is EJ Dimera we are talking about, it doesn't have to be and it never should be noble.
As for his rationale, what counts is that its his, its what made him do what he did; it being 'flimsy', or foolhardy does not take away from that.
but you are defending....or maybe I shouldn't use such a strong term....let's say categorizing the rationale as being about his love for Sami - that is what I am debating. And I used "noble" facetiously. The point there was to say if the motivation to lie was to leave things as they were, now that the event is exposed, continuing to lie denigrates Eric in the process. I am not sure how I see that action as coming from a place of love for Sami. It's not even about Sami for me. It's about a lily-livered amoral coward who doesn't give two shits about his fellow man.

What did Hope find in the driver's seat of Kristen's car? I assumed that it was her diamond engagement ring, but if you pause the scene, it looks like there's more than just a ring in that bag (not necessarily more than one item -- Brady refers to the item as "it", as in one thing -- but perhaps something larger and more substantial than just a ring), so I was wondering if everyone else got the same impression or if other conclusions had been drawn.
It's kind of symbolic that Kristen would leave behind her ring, if that's truly what it was, since she was frantically searching for the diamond just a couple of episodes earlier and wasn't ready to let go of it.
