||Well done, they even went into 3million viewers territory.|

||Well done Days and GH.|

DAYS gave it their best shot and still came in 4th...I read last night that GH also had a great week. So I went to bed thinking DAYS would be in 4th place yet again. You can lead a horse to water but you canít make him drink same goes for disappointed viewers that left the show! But Iím not surprised!!!!!
Congratulations GH! You are a class act when it comes to daytime soaps. Everyday you leave the viewers wanting to come back for more!

Congratulation Days (and GH).
Does anyone (Jason47) recall what the story was 33 months ago? It must have been the first week of a sweeps period.

I'm not even lying. Jennifer's heart was RIPPED OUT OF HER CHEST AND THEN RETURNED, Taylor came to town, and Rafe 2 began.
|lovinsafe||Nov 22 2013, 01:15 PM Post #7|
And Carly told Bo that she wouldnít come between him and Hope anymore. Also Chloe, Kate and Parker, Elvis told Daddy to go ahead with his plans for Rafe.

Thanks. I hope this comes across the way I mean it.
Lysie, I wish you were lying. :)

....there's only 4 soaps left. Days is measured against itself (mainly) & on that metric, they are doing well. Or at least better than they have in the last 33 months. Days didn't fail this week by not upsetting GH in 3rd place, just like GH didn't fail by not unseating BB from 2nd, or BB from upsetting YR in 1st.
They did win by beating themselves though.

I don't give credit to any of those storylines. It was a snowstorm. People trapped in their homes will watch anything including Jennifer getting her heart ripped out, Taylor, and Fafe.

|DAYS beating B&B even if barely in some categories is something to be happy about. Also DAYS numbers are equal to NBC Thursday lineup so another plus for DAYS. Plus what does DAYS have as a lead in show? In Knoxville its Beverly Hillbillies.|

||Congrats to Days & GH!! GREAT numbers, so proud of them both. As for Days, I'm sure the numbers will have a pretty large drop next week (and probably the next couple weeks) but I want to give props because Days has been consistently well written and the show has been steady for pretty much all of 2013. Even when they are not doing a "sweeps stunt event," the show is for the most part..... good. And for Days to stay steady for a long period of time like that is impressive! JIMO|

WOW!!! It's so remarkable how you can remember what the weather was like 33 months ago!!!
|lysie||Nov 23 2013, 04:22 PM Post #15|
What's even more remarkable is having the ability to look at old threads where we talked about how that particular Wednesday had a huge spike that coincided with a major snow storm. ;)

Rankings doesn't matter, its the fact that they crossed 3m during the week, that the demos went up and they got new highs. I am pretty sure they are pleased with themselves. :cheer:

||Funny that you guys are referencing the storylines with Taylor, Jennifer, and Fafe, that was the only time I'd ever gotten into DAYS regularly :p|
|Renegade_Killerbee||Nov 28 2013, 06:33 PM Post #19|
So hard to believe that General Hospital hasn't been this high in the ratings in four years and ten months.
Not that the show is bad because it isn't, it's absolutely awesome.
It's just 2009 was a completely terrible year for the show with story lines soley revolving around Sonny, Jason, Carly and the Alcazar clan.
|Amazee-Dayzee||Nov 29 2013, 05:34 AM Post #20|
Honestly with the Taylor storyline I was a bit pissed off. She was only in town for a couple of months and I did not by EJaylor at all.
