With the tragic passing of Paul Walker yesterday, I remembered that I first saw him on Y&R back in the early 90's. Paul went on to star in many big screen films, but the daytime community knew him 1st. Here's a clip of Paul as Victoria Newman's friend/classmate, Brandon Collins. RIP Paul. You will be missed:

Not a hoax. He really did die.
Why you are confused:
There was a death-hoax about him circulating the internet --
-- that was started BEFORE he died.
A random coincidence that the hoax appeared a day or two BEFORE he died.
You probably saw a copy of the reporting of that hoax from the day before.
But then Paul Walker DID actually die on November 30th.
His death has been confirmed by his website, and by all the reputable news agencies, and by all his castmates from the Fast and Furious movies.
However, the false hoax and the truth report got mixed together in some places. Therefore some things that you see online might be all mixed up.
I suggest checking reputable news sources. http://www.cnn.com/2013/11/30/showbiz/actor-paul-walker-dies/
In addition, there was an announcement from the twitter feeds of Y&R and from CBS Daytime.
To confuse matters, there was another hoax -- someone pretended to be his teenage daughter and created a fake facebook page with a fake statement. Facebook took the fake page down, but copies of the fake message are still circulating the internet.
Yes he died, but no his daughter Meadow has not made any statements online.
Links to all of that information here:
There is also more discussion about him on that thread.
In the meantime, this is a video thread, so thank you to AmyJo for posting that video.
