I guess I wanted Sami to be a REAL heroine -- As in hero (good person) of the story. Not saccharine-sweet good. But real/flawed good. That sort of heroine can kick butt but still have a heart of gold. I don't want Sami to be a "heroine" as in the meaning of the word that some posters are using -- which seems to indicate "Lead Female Character of the Story" She used to be a good person (pre-2006) with some devious tendencies, but had a real heart. Now she's just cardboard, empty. As some of you have said, she reflects some of the traits of whatever man she's paired with, but is empty on her own. I'm just surprised that some posters want Sami to embrace the dark side. (and yes I accept that everyone is entitled to their opinion/preference. This is a fictional character.) It just never occurred to me to *want* Sami to be "dark". At this point, I will just have to accept that Sami now is not pre-2006 Sami. She is now a completely different character who only coincidentally has the same name, family and actress. Edited by nananana7, Dec 6 2013, 01:59 PM.

I think pre 2006 Sami and EJ has simular personalitys, they both have a good and a bad side and EJīs obssession of Sami reminded me of Samiīs obssession of Austin, which is whu I felt they were soulmates. I have realized later though that EJīs bad side isnīt the same as Samiīs his is worse. Sami wasnīr running around trying to kill people like EJ has not before she shoot EJ anyway. Still pre 2006 Sami might be bad enough to work with EJ though, and I think the writers are slowly changing Sami from a heroin to a villain to fit EJīs character, but it wouldnīt make sense if it happend over night. I didnīt feel that her not given a fuck about Nick made sense, and when she first saw Nick lying on the ground she should have said - OMG she didnīt seemed suprised at all which I thought were unrealistic. I want to see Sami as a villain scheming but not being without a heart.
