I found it just a little bit skeevie that high as a kite Brady was ratting out JJ to Jennifer about JJ possibly doing drugs.

Oh Oh, was Eric just a little bit green when Nicole told him that she had moved on with Daniel.

Hate how Theresa sits there and lies to her Grandma Caroline.
Brady didn't exactly rat JJ out, but you're right. Brady telling Jennifer that JJ was possibly doing drugs when he himself is high on drugs is rather hypocritical.
This is one part where I like the hypocrisy.

Even though Brady is circling the drain I like it that he is trying to get people to help JJ to stop him making the same mistake.

That said I still hold Brady partially responsible for not speaking up and stopping Nicole from kidnapping Sydney so I'm probably pleased to see he is finally starting to man up slightly.

I wish people would just call her a baby kidnapper instead....
No kidding. I don't know why they don't go that route for the standard insult instead. Not only is that crime a lot worse than being a porn star, but it was also something she chose to do.
hello and pass the popcorn... you took the words right out of brain... at least the kidnapping or acid throwing was by her own choice!
When was the acid throwing?

Cute pic!

I won't be writing a recap today as I have an appointment right when Days is on and then I'm going to finish up some Christmas shopping.
Well, you are certainly entitled to some holiday time off. Just want to say how much appreciated your recaps are. Such a good resource. I just wish they were in their own thread and easier to find when checking back on something. Thanks.

What's up with everyone singing Jennifer's praises for "allowing" Theresa to stay in Salem? I love Caroline, but it's like the audience is supposed to view Jenn as a goddess and the ultimate woman in Salem. Um, no she's not. She's nothing special , and her blessing should mean diddly-squat to Salemites.

I am about 5 tequila shots in with 5 or so rum shots and I must say Jennifer still sucks and Missy's neck looks 85 and is ready for next year's Thanksgiving turkey. Ericole for the win although Victor snarking and giving no fucks is a close second.

Outside of finding this episode pretty meh, my takeaways are the following: 1) the writers have dumbed down Will so much that he's now running neck and neck with Brady in the obtuse to the point of stupid department, and 2) when all is said and done, I seriously need Sonny to mea culpa and apologize to Adrianne just as she's doing to him. I hated having to listen to her telling him of her apology to Sami, and how she now know she was wrong [about Sami and the inherent problems that comes along with her]. Ugh!

I don't understand how Will is dumb. Why would he assume his former girlfriend killed his cousin? He noticed that his mom, Kate and Gabi were up to something since those three hanging out is not normal. I know this is Salem and it should be expected that one of its prominent citizens is expected to commit some sort of a crime any day but why would be expect something horrible is happening. He figured out the thing with Gabi and Nick (at least partially) from his conversation with Hope and he discussed it with Gabi. And for him, the case is closed since he discussed with her the secret that was bothering Gabi. It's been only an overnight so he hasn't seen her yet, except for a minute as he said, so he doesn't know she's still acting scared. He also figured out something spooked Sonny. So, no, he's not Brady level dumb.

I agree with you about your Adrienne point though. I think Adrienne was extremely unfair to Will and cruel, specially harassing him at the hospital. So, she should have cleared the air but Sonny was harsh on his mom and thus owes her a big apology.

Lady and the Skank!
Only one of them cheated on her husband, got pregnant from said affair and hid the truth for decades....and her name doesn't start with a T.
Yet the one who's name starts with a T is not worthy of licking her grandmother's boots. She lies more in one conversation than Caroline has lied in her whole lifetime.
Caroline kept her affair with Victor and Bo's paternity a lie for longer than Theresa has been living...

I am pretty sure that directly and accurately contradicts what you just argued.

Caroline's lied to protect her family and has paid for years in pain for her family and through her marriage and her journey as a spiritual woman to gaining God's forgiveness. Theresa is lying to save her own ass. I enjoy her as much as anyone, but holding them up side by side is ridiculous.

^In general I think the hypocrisy issue on soaps is way overplayed. Whatever happened to learning from other people's mistakes?

I am not arguing the other stuff (the pain and suffering)...just that Caroline has lied much less than Theresa over the course of each of their lives...I disagree fully on that.

In fact, I think Caroline's lies could be considered MUCH more damaging/shameful than anything Theresa has done to date.

Has Caroline been redeemed for that mistake? absolutely...but that doesn't erase what she did to her family and whether or not she kept the secret from Shawn to "protect her family". At the end of the day, she lied to her husband and let him think Bo was his biological child...not only that, but she made a fool of him for not revealing the truth about her affair.

My original comment was in regard to you calling Theresa a skank compared to Caroline...when Caroline could easily be called much worse for what she has done in her lifetime (whether forgiven or not).

In the words of MarDevil to Caroline "you're an adulteress, a slut...a liar!!"...one of the most truest statements made during the Possession storyline.

Great post. I don't necessarily believe Adrienne needs to apologize to Sami, but she does not need to blame Will for what his mother does.
