Soap Star Aiden Turner Charged With Four Counts of Domestic Violence
All My Children star and former Dancing With the Stars contestant Aiden Turner has been charged with four counts of domestic violence, according to a report from TMZ.
Aiden was arrested for felony domestic violence in late November, and these charges are the result of that event. Aiden allegedly threw a remote control at his girlfriend during an argument, leaving her with a cut and a black eye. According to TMZ, he also reportedly hurt her shoulder.
Although Aiden was arrested for felony domestic violence, he has been charged with four counts of misdemeanor domestic violence, which doesn't come as a surprise. TMZ's law enforcement sources thought the charges at the time of arrest would be brought down to a misdemeanor status since the injuries in question were "minor" (not that that makes this situation, as it allegedly happened, OK).
Aiden has been charged by the L.A. City Attorney with two counts of domestic violence, and then another two counts of domestic violence without injury. Those second two counts will only come into play if the jury doesn't believe Aiden's girlfriend was hurt during the argument (or at least doesn't believe there's conclusive evidence of it).
