It's been awhile since I've teared up to a soap, but Ericole has me a blubbery mess today! Kudos to AZ and GV. Bravo!

I'm just happy we didn't have to sit through a rerun of Eric and Nicole's relationship through the Kristen sl -- keeping their love for one another a secret. That was going to drive me nuts. I felt like we did our time, now let's get to the next stage already! I'm glad they've gotten straight to it. Now they can become a couple and get it over with!
They're not gonna become a couple so easily :) This is a classic slow-build and AZ & GV are knocking it outta the park.
I know. The good is just about to begin. All the angsty longing, flashbacks, dreams and fantasies. I'm feeling dizzy just imagining the all the possibilities. lol Yes, I think the groundwork has already been laid...by Nicole...when she said she was so glad that they had both told each other every thing. Then she said it didn't make any difference...because Eric was meant to be a priest.
Of course, I don't want Eric to remain a priest forever...but neither do I want Eric and Nicole...ever...just to get it over with.

Well, I have to say I was not happy with today's epi. I kinda knew Ejabby would not do the do today, but I thought EJ would be the one to stop it. Either way, I'm disappointed that it stopped. And I'm really upset that their dialogue implied that they are over. Also don't like that I think they are going to go the "crazy" route with Abigail again. Stupid writers!! No imagination!!
Today made it seem like to me that they are not going to go the "crazy" route with Abigail again. She was the one who stopped it. I love EJabby but I'm sort of glad she stopped things from getting out of control. It showed some responsibility and maturity on her part IMO. I agree. It doesn't seem like they are going to go the crazy route after today. Friday's show had me a little worried that they would. IF this is ever going to be a couple to root for, I think they need to step back and not proceed with some clandestine affair that can hurt so many people. Not that I have any complaints about the hotness of it all..LOL! ;)

For almost having sex again with Abby, EJ seems really really cold with Sami, like he's pissed at her. Sami seems to think the core of all their problems are with Kristen when EJ has clearly barely given that issue a second thought. She doesn't bring up (much) how her own lies to EJ on the Nick matter hurt them.
I think he's very obviously still pissed at Sami. I mean, he's been pissed at her for about 2 months now because he didn't think he really did anything wrong in regards to the Kristen-Eric situation. And nothing has really changed in that regard for him. I'm interested to hear what his reaction will be to her tomorrow. I have a feeling he's not going to just accept her mea culpa that easily.
It will be interesting to see how he reacts tomorrow. He is definitely exhausted by and pissed about this whole thing. I did get a kind of cold and almost indifferent feeling from him toward Sami. I think he is just wary of what she is going to say next. Like, will they continue to go in circles or finally start to resolve their problems. Yeah, it took them two months and many circular conversations about Eric/Kristen to get where they are now, so I highly doubt it's going to be resolved tomorrow. Sami is obviously opening the door to them actually trying to resolve their issues, which was the necessary first step. I mean, she's known all along that he didn't tell her about Eric/Kristen out of loyalty to his sister, so she either needed to accept and live with that or not. Seems like she's come around in that regard, but I have a feeling that Eric getting gassed is probably going to throw up another hurdle. It will probably be a little while longer before they truly reconcile.

OMG!!!! ERICOLE JUST WENT TO SUPERCOUPLE STATUS!! I will be swooning for 10 years from this one show!!! Sooo much foreshadowing and it was all sooo Romeo and Julietish!! I just died and went to ERICOLE heaven!!
Loved her explaining to Eric the last year!!! Fantastic job by the writers!!! Only a marriage and baby in the future will do for this couple...NOTHING LESS!!
Give them every award!!! They deserve it!!! :applause:

Exactly. No thanks to Ericole "becoming a couple and getting it over with". I want to see all the little moments. The journey is often the best part. Exactly. We just got a HUGE pay-off for the last two episodes. So now we need a big obstacle thrown in the way again so Ericole can continue the slow journey. My guess is that they will be able to find the evidence that Eric was drugged so he will be reinstated to the church.

"Well, it's possible Kristian drugged him, but there's no way of knowing that"
He's been going out of his way to declare that it wasn't rape. To make jokes about it, to smirk in Eric's face, and to conceal his knowledge of the doctor who is right now trying to murder Eric and Nicole.

But Sami knows he's lying too. She's never been under any illusions about that. She knows he lied about the drugs and she also knows she's not going to be able to get him to admit it (lord know she has tried). That's why I'm saying she either needs to accept that he lied to cover-up for Kristen or she needs to move on.

Yup. :::SMH::: That sure was a prime example of WTFery, writers. Really? I mean, I get people will find just about anything to hate on about Daniel, but its pretty logical for a doctor to be handy. Daniel certainly has always been written as the kind of doctor who would be and I don't think that has anything to do with being "Super Dan" ;) JMO.

To make jokes about it, to smirk in Eric's face, and to conceal his knowledge of the doctor who is right now trying to murder Eric and Nicole. I know, it's one thing to cover up Kristen's evidence to help his sister (though it's not like it's helping her, she can't step foot in Salem again) but it's like he is glad Kristen did this to Eric. I don't understand EJ's resentment towards Eric. I know they won't be BFFs ever, but it's not like they have this long sordid history like he does with Rafe or Lucas. Sami adores Eric and out of her entire family other than her children, seeking revenge on Sami's twin would hurt her the most.
I really wish the show would confront this attitude of EJ's that the Dimeras crimes are seemingly justified towards the Brady's. I don't see how Ejami can be anything more than doomed if this isn't something addressed. Of course, I want them doomed so that works for me.
