Seriously, do they ever have patent lawyers on soaps? Asking for friend.....
Not answering untill I get the name of the friend.
I think soap lawyers are like Justin, criminal, civil...corporate...patent...actuary...whatever the plotline dictates. Just like Dr.Dan,Is there a surgery he cannot perform,an illness he cannot diagnose,a mystery he cannot solve.I'm just surprised he had to send Eric's samples to a lab in Boston for DNA testing.

Loved Mama Bear Hope, but wow, she doesn't know anything about Ciara's naughty side, does she? And while Aiden was a total jerk to her, he's not entirely wrong. No Bo + Hope's crazy job = a woman run ragged trying to keep everything from falling apart. At the same time, he's not very sympathetic to a fellow single parent (which, technically, Hope is). I want to see more of them together, so that's a plus, right?
I'm not sure Aiden knows that Hope is a fellow single parent (just like Hope doesn't know that Aiden's a single parent). Hope can probably faster figure out that Aiden's not married, but Hope still has her wedding ring on, so he probably assumes that she just doesn't care. I agree that Aiden isn't completely wrong. At the same time, he's going about this whole situation in the wrong way. Instead of wanting to figure out a way to resolve the issue (which is what Hope wants to do), he came in with guns blazing & throwing accusations at Hope and blaming her for something her daughter did. Oh, absolutely. But I love when characters are wrong, wrong, wrong from the get-go. Gives them room to grow. I'd much rather hear Hope calling Aiden a jerk than hear everyone and his brother singing the praises of SuperDan. If they'd treated Daniel like the awful horndog he was and quit trying to prop him (and also not hook him up with Chelsea right in the middle of her romance with Nick, because ick and ew), he might not be such a hated character now.
So be a jerk, Aiden. Be a big jerk. You can make it up to us later.

Don't forget EJ talking about all he and Abby had been through together! :blulaugh: I like them but I still find many aspects of the story funny.
That line had me scratching my head while playing their 5 second backstory in my mind's eye!
Don't be a hater.Just sayin' for a friend. I couldn't resist.I think I saw that "Askin for a friend " line before in your post.Cracked me up when I saw it in the lawyer post.I don't know why it struck me as funny but it did.I am still laughing.

SSH said that she tried to get ahold of the writers to ask them how to play Julie in these scenes but they wouldn't call her back.(Jerks :glare: She's trying to make YOUR script work. The entire point of asking is to make sure the script YOU WROTE comes across the way it's supposed to :soapbox: )
I wonder what she would have done differently if they'd answered her.

I'm a Sami fan first and foremost so naturally if someone she loves is running around on her, I can totally understand not liking that other coupling. But my reasons for not liking Ejabby is not because of Ejami. Heck EJ can be paired off with any other 'Older' woman and I'll approve if they have chemistry. My issue is the age thing and also what the SL represents. I get its a soap and to many like myself, its sometimes a form of escapism from the reels of everyday life.
This SL hits too close to home for me to enjoy it. The engaged committed man leaving/running around on his family with someone younger and also a family member is not appealing to me. I don't want to see that on my screen and be reminded of the hurt it brings. But to each its own and I respect everyone's opinion and preferences. Omg I hear you 100%! Our personal experiences drive our ships so to say! I abhore Ejabby for what it represents TO ME! a young so called commandment following girl throwing herself at a man who thinks he is "missing something " in his life all the while knowing he is in a committed relationship! It's very hard to watch. I want her to pay for what she has done. she is disregarding Sami as a future wife and mother of their children. She has played her cards to tease and tempt him knowing he is engaged and in a bad phase of his relationship..Im not saying I speak for all women, but girls who knowingly chase committed men are dispicable to me! Forget Sami and her past, she is a woman who I think loves EJ right now. I know she herself has tried to profess her love.Sami saying she was embarassed she took his love for granted. Been there, done that all the while in the midst of a cheater...In my opinion, Abby took advantage of that. as did EJ. whatever happens from now, my opinion of Abby has gone from stupid innocent girl to homewrecker. Feel free to attack my opinion, but I speak from a woman scorned lol. Of course we are in soap land so whatever! Maybe Sami kills her or something! that would be great for me personally lol! Alright let the shots fire!

Wow, had no idea that my take on EJabby would be such the topic of conversation.
For the record, I am 5'2" and my husband is just over 6', so it is not about the size differential. By the same token, James & Kate would work for me, but we are talking about Abby & EJ. As far as the 9-year-old pubes, I'm about 41 years removed from those.
On top of being somewhat physically similar to my daughter, it's the "I like Cameron. No wait, I like Chad. But then there is Cameron. But Chad took me to the amusement park on his bike. But Cameron is a doctor & brings me flowers." That sounds like my 13-year-old. Then we got..." Eeny, meeny, miny, moe, I'll have sex with Chad. But wait, I would have rather had sex with Cameron."
Plus there is the "I am an adult, I wanted to have sex with you/What was I thinking?/ You just used sex to keep me from going to Hope." Granted Sami is fickle as the day is long, but at least she can have sex with 3 guys in less than a year and not go on some self-deprecation tour. She owns her lack of decisiveness instead of blaming it on the latest guy.

I agree with Aiden. Hope is blind when it comes to Ciara and she wanted to talk her way out of trouble and make excuses. Can't stand parents like that. Bullies need to be stopped.
Aren't most parents blind to their children? Is it wrong that Hope wants to defend her child? It's not like Aiden was behaving rationally towards Hope. Is Ciara wrong for doing what she did? Yes. Is Hope wrong for wanting to at least talk to Ciara before sentencing her? No. Should Aiden have been a bit more respectful towards Hope? Yes. Is Hope going to let Ciara get away with what she did? No.
I thought it was stupid of Aiden to criticize hope the way he did. It was as if he expected a bully like Ciara to be telling her mother about her bullying activities at school. :blulaugh: I kind of thought HIS behavior actually seemed a bit bullyish - what irony! I think a meeting with the parents and their children actually would've been in order, but that's just me.

Maybe Father Matt will make the next meeting a "parent & child" one. Personally, I think he should put on a ref's uniform for it. ;)

I'm not speaking of Sami's past. Only her present. maybe she deserves to be wronged! but as righteous as Abby has been, it disappoints me that she would choose to be the "other woman".

I'm not sure Aiden knows that Hope is a fellow single parent (just like Hope doesn't know that Aiden's a single parent).
Hmmm, wasn't Bo a big 'ole jerk when him and Hope first met??? Not the VERY first time they met. They were quite flirty at Shenanigans. It was only after Roman & Marlena properly introduced the two that Bo started teasing Hope.
