That episode was full of win. Julie, Kate, and Sami were throwing all kinds of shade, and it was fabulous. Also, I loved all the scenes Lucas was in- he needs to be on contract asap!
Definitely, Lucas is the main reason way I started watching DAYs. :wub2:

I liked that it was realistic that Lucas didn't invite Sheryl to the christening. He barely knows her and it would have been pushy. I liked that Jennifer wasn't a hypocrite for once. She declined going to the Dimeras

Jackson "Sonny" Steven Kiriakis was born on the show to Adrienne and Justin and is the youngest of their 4 children. The family moved to Dallas shortly after he was born and he grew up off screen.
Judi is the only actress to play Adrienne.
Are you sure they moved after Sonny was born? I only ask because I remember a scene where Adrienne(?) called to let everyone know she had had the baby. I also recall somebody, maybe Jennifer, telling Jack that Justin and Adrienne had named the baby, Jackson, after him. I just remember how much I loved the look on Jack's face when he found out. Of course, this entire scenario could have just been a part of the rich fantasy world I sometimes constructed as a child. Never as an adult though, nope, never ever.
It was after. Adrienne being pregnant with the baby that would be Sonny was their big "Happily Ever After" moment when they left the show. Up until that point, the only children they had were Alexander (Justin's with Anjelica Deveraux, Jack's step-mother) and the adopted twins Victor & Joseph. A big point of Justin & Adrienne's story was that Adrienne had trouble conceiving (making the point that Anjelica had Justin's child and Adrienne couldn't a BIG story point, as I remember). Finding out that she was carrying a biological child of their own was a way to send them off really happy.

Today's episode was perfect in every way. This show seriously knows how to be good when it wants to be.

Loved Kate/Sami and everything Julie today. It's amazing that Days is able to produce dramatic stories but be able to get some fun, comical scenes out of them too. Almost every episode is a mix of everything - drama, comedy, ROMANCE (looking at YOU, Ericole)... When is the last time that happened?

There were so many Hortons on today (Hope, Julie, Lucas, etc...) I had to double-check that it wasn't Christmas. Love it! Nick's entrance at the end was SO soapy. Can't wait to watch next week!

When TomSell took over, I never thought I'd be giving them credit for anything. But here they are, setting up a great serving of storytelling - and it's not even February Sweeps yet! Bring it on!

Anyone else find the fact that Julie's running around Salem wanting to know what's up with Nick's texts while Doug is supposedly "stuck" in Florida beyond ridiculous?? It would've made more sense for Maggie & Brady to have not made it because Maggie was taking Brady to an AA meeting (after all, drunk Brady didn't look like he had a cold), while it was Doug who was feeling under the weather and thus unable to attend.

Yep, this.

Also, Jack is the one who received the phone call (from Justin) and then told Jennifer that the baby had been born and was named after him. It was just after Abigail was born and they were living in the cottage that Bill gave them.

(Just recently finished watching these scenes again.)

Man, today was so soapy good. I can't wait for Monday.

I wanna know why people think Ej and Abby make a good couple I just don't see it at all! He is too much for her to handle. Little daddy's girl cant handle the big bad wolf! And now that AS is leaving the show, I hope JS does too! And just FYI his contract is up in May.

Just started watching, but I thought EJ was a little "handsy" with Abby when talking to Julie and Hope. His hands rested on her shoulders for quite a while. And he actually rubbed her shoulders. I loved it.
EJ was openly shoulder rubbing Abby the entire time Hope and Julie were talking to them .Its just weird that they did not seem to notice it.I personally like the fact that he cannot keep his hands off Abby but I did think was strange that Hope and Julie were looking directly at them but did not think his behavior was out of the ordinary.

Phenomenal ending. The music, the editing, the reactions, and the unequaled BB's line delivery. Such pure, awesome soapy goodness.

Note to soap writers: This is what the fans want! Even if we could've seen Nick's return coming a mile away, it doesn't matter. We love this sort of thing. It's less about being suprised, and more about enjoying the feeling of a good storyline hitting all of its beats.

Kudos to the everyone at the show! Days is on fire!
I agree. This cliffhanger has been the best one in years on DOOL. Loved all the reaction shots and the music.

I thought the cliffhanger with the video of Kristen/Eric being showned was a lot better. This wasnīt a bad cliffhanger but since I already know Nick was coming I wasnīt suprise or excited about it. I saw the video of Kristen/Eric coming too but I loved the face expression people were having then more, plus it was more scandalous. I think monday could turn out to be a really good episode though friday wasnīt bad but I didnīt liked it more than other episodes this week.

Despite everything EJ done in the past I donīt think people would suspect him of cheating on Samantha.
