Oh, look. Will and Sonny aren't mentioned in the spoilers. That's as shocking and unexpected as the Days renewal news. :sarcasm:(And it doesn't matter to me if the spoilers don't reveal anything significant -- or anything at all beyond "Will and Sonny are airing on these days". That alone would be nice to know, and far more than we've been getting lately about those two characters.) My guess is, anything about Will and Sonny will be tied to what happens on the christening and they just don't want to let that secret out, especially the EJabby stuff worked so well.

Yes, but if they tell you that Will and Sonny will be on on a certain day, then you will know to only tune in on those days. If they keep it under wrap they are counting on you tuning in every day to see if they are on and even if they're not, they hope to suck you in with the rest of the stories to keep you watching.

I think we have been getting plenty of story and airtime for Will and Sonny. Especially considering there is a new Will.
I think the spoilers being vague is good. It keeps people watching to see what happens. They also have to tune in to see if their favorites are on that day, as opposed to knowing all the days they will be on and only tuning in then. We obviously all have our favorites (Wilson for me) but they want us to watch Days of all the characters lives, not just this couple or character's life. JMO. :)
Katrosina, we are clearly on the same page! ;)

I get that but what if Will and Sonny's scenes are meeting to decide what to do about Nick? Since they can't say, all it will say is "Will and Sonny talk." Now, I know Wilson fans will love to see that but it looks rather boring OR it may worry fans thinking they are talking about something about their relationship such as something is wrong with them instead of working on an obstacle like Nick.

I get what you're saying. But I know as a Jack and Jennifer fan, when they were on, a spoiler saying 'Jack and Jenn talk' would have me tuning in that day. Leaving them completely out of the spoiler would have me tuning in everyday hoping for a glimpse of them.

I realize that it won't happen, I understand why it won't happen, but that doesn't change the fact that I want it to happen, nor the fact that I'm extremely disappointed and annoyed that it isn't happening. This isn't even a new thing, which is part of why it bothers me (and others, I'm sure) so much -- historically, Will and Sonny have been two of the characters who have been mentioned the least in spoilers, considering their prominence on the show (meaning that, sure, Roman is mentioned even less often, but he also has a far less prominent role on the show to begin with).

Sure, they are part of the Nick story but it seems Gabi, Sami and Kate are at the center of it. I'm not complaining about the long scenes we got of Will and Sonny in bed. But when those seem to be their longest scenes on air that tells me they don't have much story going on. Even today their scene were cut so short because story wise they are just being treated as supporting characters. Sure their proposal and wedding will be coming up but that is not a main story to give them airtime. Even Abby has more of a part in the Nick drama.

Theresa ends up falling right into JJ's trap!
It's about time. Yeah...pet peeve time -- blackmail plot points are too one-sided on this show. When both parties involved clearly have something to hide, and they each have something on the other person, neither should be portrayed as cowering in fear of the other. Theresa's days of blackmailing J.J. should have ended when he made that recording of her confessing to using GHB and stating that she wanted to purchase more drugs, because from that point forward, she never could have shown her incriminating recording of him to anyone without risking the chance that he would also show his incriminating recording of her to someone. That's how it's supposed to work -- both parties have evidence on each other that forces them both to keep their respective mouths shut because they both have just as much to lose if the truth about either one of them is ever revealed.
The writers did the same thing when Nick was blackmailing Will while Sonny and E.J. knew a huge secret about Gabi that could have nullified Nick immediately. It wasn't the least bit believable that Sonny wouldn't have at least told Chad what was going on and let Chad decide if protecting himself was worth letting a bigot steal Chad's best friend's child (I'm guessing that Chad would have chosen to help Will if he had been given that choice), or that E.J. wouldn't have made a calculated move, knowing (since we're supposed to believe -- even if many of us don't -- that E.J. is good at thinking two steps ahead of his opponents at all times) that Chad never would have been in any danger because Nick never would have revealed Chad or Will's secrets if Gabi's own freedom were also at stake. Instead, we got months of Nick being treated as the smartest person in Salem because the writers wanted to drag out the storyline further and couldn't be bothered to think of a way of doing so that would have made sense.
And going farther back, they did the same thing when E.J. blackmailed Will into working for him. Realistically, Will could have just said, "Fine, I'll keep quiet about your tryst with my mother, but I'm not going to be your errand boy. You won't say anything about my secret because you know that if you do, I'll have no reason to keep my mouth shut about yours," and that would have been the end of the matter. Sure, it wouldn't have furthered the storyline as much as what they ended up doing instead, but it would have been far more believable, which is more important than just doing something for the sake of furthering a storyline, IMO.
Blackmail should only be one-sided when the blackmailer truly has nothing to hide or, at the very least, has managed to keep their secrets hidden from the very people they are trying to blackmail, and that's usually not the case, especially in Salem.

I think all that talk about Gabi being their family today was an anvil that her exit isn't going to be pretty and Wilson are going to end up with a motherless Ari.
I'm not sure how Gabi will exit, but it's not going to be a happy exit, methinks.

I saw tweets about Camila Banus having emotional scenes with Kate Mansi on Camila's last day on the set, so I'm guessing that Gabi's secret is finally going to be revealed and Gabi will be ushered off to prison.
Just a guess, though.

I'm liking the vagueness of the spoilers. Hell, we got Ejabby that way. And it almost feels like the good ol' days before internet spoilers and I was actually left mouth open after an episode because of not seeing something coming. I think Days is trying to bring some surprise back into daytime and Lord knows we needed it and it's working.
