Ill take anything negative pointed in Days direction, but I do think the timing of this is way off considering the show is doing well and has had tons of what would be considered "good" news lately. If anything, this will have the opposite effect of what the original intention was. I think it probably started out as the EJami People I'm not supposed to be talking about trying to prove the point that they can make some noise...good or bad. I mean, half the ship has already announced she's leaving the show. There really isn't much to fight for in regard to storyline at this point so whatever outcome does or doesn't happen from this - I don't think it will have much impact one way or the other.
On the bolded, is that really news though? I think the show knows that the fan base is active on twitter and other forms of social media. I think they know you guys can organize anything quickly and effectively. I think they realize you are loud when you are very dissatisfied with the show and you are also loud when you are happy with it. I don't think this will prove anything to them, if anything maybe focusing on Ejami would have done the trick more...I know you are planning something else tomorrow for that...but it just seems that at this time the show is renewed for two years, you have AS leaving, and JS' future is uncertain....there really is more to gain by having it focus on JS staying or having it focus on Ejami alone....than to have something that says it's Corday's fault when like I said before, we have had evidence and multiple people associated with the show saying that the network trumps him at times. I agree with Lysie that the timing was wrong. Serious question -what is there to gain? All the Sami based pairings are dead. JS is a valued member of this show who's not going anywhere unless he chooses to.

Serious question -what is there to gain? All the Sami based pairings are dead. JS is a valued member of this show who's not going anywhere unless he chooses to. Yeah, to me the discussion of "timing" or "intended effect" or "how the show will react" is irrelevant. With AS leaving, none of that matters and I think the vast majority of People I'm not supposed to be talking about participating in the trend were fully aware of that that. This wasn't some positive campaign intended to influence the show because there's no point in that now. I didn't see any tweets about the planning, but as far as I can tell, the intended effect was simply to say "fuck you" in a humorous way and the timing was "now" because that group of People I'm not supposed to be talking about doesn't like what's airing right now. I don't think it's anything more than that.

Quoting limited to 4 levels deepI think it probably started out as the EJami People I'm not supposed to be talking about trying to prove the point that they can make some noise...good or bad.

It just seem like the FU got flipped back because a positive ratings press release came out and they were just renewed for two years. I appreciate the message and it's a shame this wasn't done on a day when there was actually bad news to coincide with it.

Serious question -what is there to gain? All the Sami based pairings are dead. JS is a valued member of this show who's not going anywhere unless he chooses to.
and that is what I was just getting at.....and that is why I mentioned maybe doing something to get the word out that you don't want to lose JS, I'd say you'd have something to gain from that....clearly JS isn't out yet....so maybe he hasn't made a decision to leave yet. Maybe he thought this Ejabby thing didn't have legs so that is why he didn't sign sooner? IDK I just know I'm really nervous over losing BD, but I can't do squat...if he was on contract that would be something else. See, but I want JS to lose Days. I hope he doesn't renew his contract. I'm done and it isn't even all about EJami for me. I'm done with the way they write EJ.
I'm not making any proclamations about not watching the show ever again and taking my toys and going home. Who knows how much longer I will watch and if JS does stay, I'm sure I'll make an attempt to watch. I am praying like hell he doesn't though. I'm willing to take a chance that he lands another acting gig somewhere so I can continue to watch him act. I saw someone posted a project in the works he may be involved with. I like the sounds of that.
So, I could care less if he stays or goes because Days has made me apathetic. I don't care anymore one way or the other. It just is.
Which is precisely why I find the twitter blast of #cordaysfault freakin hysterical. I missed it all and had no idea but that is some funny shit. From what I can tell it wasn't meant to affect anything. It was just funny stuff from people who for the most part don't give a shit anymore. Bravo. Well done! :blulaugh: I can't believe it trended as long as it did.

No f'n way. You might know and most of the people on here might know, but a lot of people don't realize that.
It's not a secret that Days tapes 15 years ahead and that AS is leaving in May. The people who are too disconnected from Days to know that aren't going to be taking part in this tweeting session, because they don't even know who Corday even is.
The other thing is it's a very diverse group of people. Hell, most of the time I don't agree with other ejamis. Me too, but I have to give them kudos today.
It shows that people still care & are passionate about this genre.
Sure, there are plenty of nutters (in every fanbase) that are going to think that this will change something, but it most assuredly will not. This was filmed in late Sept, this story is in the bag.
Like Tom said, it's just a way for some of them to blow off steam & be heard. They made some noise & obviously they were heard. More power to em.

This one was well, gold.
"Taking Abby's golden circle and turning it into the Golden Arches - 2 DiMeras served and counting #CordaysFault" Hello. That has my chin on the ground.
What's the old saying about throwing stones in glass houses?
That is just offensive.
