No, it's fine. But when it's already been discuss ad nauseum no one should be too surprised to see someone point that out.
I find that type of response condescending and unwelcoming....is that not what the ignore function is for?
I suppose. Personally, I prefer someone say "we've already discuss that here in this thread" than for us to discuss it again only a page later. But ultimately, it's not really a problem from either angle. :shrugs: Fair enough and I agree that certain topics don't need to be discussed over and over (and it is annoying, which is why I will skip over them), but people who are late to the discussion of some issue (especially one that is over) should still be able to feel like they can add what they thought about it, regardless if it is considered "over" to other posters or not.

In addition to the corday hashtag twitter blast. Im now seeing tweets that a conference call with TPTB is being set up to express fans concerns. Lmao I dont know how days can see that there's a problem when ratings are going up. I think Days and Corday should ignore it. I think its obvious theres a lot of time on their hands and its just a bunch of really loud dedicated tweeters. It really amounts to nothing. In do think its hilarous how many people joined in using the hastag to mock these disgrunteled, non-silent, former viewers Just when I think I've seen the most ridiculous comments about this Corday shit, I read this. Good thing I wasn't drinking something right now because it probably would have come out my nose from laughing so hard. I agree with a prior poster that some people have way too much times on their hands. I get being invested in a tv show but this show signs over obsessiveness about a tv show.

I haven't heard anything about a conference call. For what it's worth, though - I'm not a former viewer. I watch every day (eventually). Not that it matters, though - we have a large number of posters here at DR that don't watch at all. :shrug:I don't think there was any motivation behind the twitter blast other than to blow off some steam and frustration...and it was pretty effective and turned out to be a lot of fun. To that end, I'd say the end results were better than expected for the participants. Sometimes it's just fun to get it out of your system. Don't exaggerate. I watch like once a month.

What people never seem to get is that buzz is still buzz.
I think people did get that, and it's why the Days hashtag wasn't used. I'm sure Corday wasn't mad or embarrassed, but I don't think he's going to be laughing all the way to the bank due to this, either.
I disagree, it has gotten him free press and the show attention whether or not the DAYS hashtag was used doesn't really matter. I don't think he cares one way or another if it was negative or positive...the show will be perfectly content with the amount audience involvement. Um...they make money based on how many times the days hash tag is used. And some of the same group of people threw out over 10,000 more days less tweets today in less than 2 hours.
And yes of course it creates buzz but buzz doesn't pay the bills unless it translates into more days hash tag use or more viewers. Days viewership for last week is up 5% over last year, GH is up 6%, B&B is up 13% and Y& R is up 18% so they've could use as much buzz as they can get.

They literally had to do nothing. They didn't lost anything yesterday, but they certainly gained something. They still had thousands of fans using the hashtag anyways, despite the twitter bomb.
I would also argue that more people used #DAYS yesterday than a normal day from that #CordaysFault hashtag use. I saw tons of people adding the #DAYS hashtag in.

Most of the participants realize that the results don't actually matter in the grand scheme of things, but it's still cool to "win." Whether that win is being part of creating a worldwide trend, or helping your soap beat a cancelled soap in an online poll.

Things changed and I'm loving it right now and I'll go out my way to help it - until it pisses me off again ;)

This is sure to stir the pot! LMFAO! lol yes I saw that tweet and it made me chuckle. It might stir a bit of something. It made me smile nonetheless - and, truth be told, like Jade all the more, if anything for her bravery. I wonder if she knows she might be playing with fire, lol, getting "involved" in anything shippy or couple-y.

She didn't say that to stir anything up, someone asked her and she answered. I didn't say she made the tweet TO stir anything up, as in it was intentional. And yeah I know how tweets work - I saw she replied to a prompt. If you mean that what she said won't stir anything up, fine....I just said it might.

Jade Harlow tweeted this.
umm I like all the relationship dynamics but the Hottest I've seen so far, is between the characters Abby & EJ IMHO
This is sure to stir the pot! LMFAO!
lol yes I saw that tweet and it made me chuckle. It might stir a bit of something. It made me smile nonetheless - and, truth be told, like Jade all the much more. I wonder if she knows she might be playing with fire, lol.
She didn't say that to stir anything up, someone asked her and she answered.
I didn't say she made the tweet TO stir anything up, as in it was intentional. And yeah I know how tweets work - I saw she replied to a prompt. If you mean that what she said won't stir anything up, fine....I just said it might. ok
