Even though I love ED, I wasn't a fan of her last stint. The constant Krady sex got boring after a short, lol, very short time.
But whatever...maybe her new sl will intrigue me again...hopefully.

LOL...what about putting Nick and Kristen together? Their pathological delusion could wreak havoc in Salem!
Why not? She IS an established cradle-robber.

If Theresa/Brady happens and Kristen returns with her eye on getting Brady back, will Theresa be pitted against Kristen? She'll be squashed like a gnat. You think you're scared-straight now, sweetie.... (I know she's just playing the part.)

There's no way she could be pregnant with Eric's baby, lol. It would have to be Brady's.
....with fetal alcohol syndrome
FAS would be quite an interesting storyline though (if it only was for any other character).. But it would make the casting of older kids a bit more complicated if they wanted to stay true to the facial features. Although knowing Days a FAS baby would probably turn out to be perfectly healthy and normal, in the same way as Theo's autism and Caroline's Alzheimer's disappeared and Phillip's leg and Johnny's eye grew back.

I'm still reading comments, but it looks like people are forgetting the truly exciting pairing when ED returns -- Kristen-Ciara. Just when Hope gets her misbehaving daughter under control, here comes Ciara's mentor!

:)
Omg YES! I totally forgot about that. Ciara's going to be over the MOON to see her idol again! Which I'm going to love!

If Kristen shows up pregnant or with a baby, I'm gonna need LOTS of comments about how amazing it is that a woman her age could get knocked up. WTFery is so much more tolerable when the show calls it out.

I don't get why so much talk about babies/pregnancy:
1. We DON'T KNOW if there will be one.
2. Women over 50 (or women told they can't conceive) can have babies even in real life.

She won't come back pregnant. She will come back with a baby, though. Soo freakin awesome! I would love to see her have something to do with Sami's exit story, and then watch EJ vs Kristen a la Dimera vs Dimera. And then Abigail will accidentally end up in the middle of it and ... I see her being there for 6 months. She arrives sometime in the summer and stays through Feb sweeps of next year. Having another big story happening and fan fav to keep people tuning in after Ali leaves would be smart, even if it is short.

If they have too many in that age range they need to get rid of some others and keep Eileen. She goes to the top of the list, IMO. But it said she's back for an arc so I can see her just being around for three months or so to shake things up.

I hope Y&R recasts Ashley so Eileen's only option is to come do these arcs on Days.

ETA : Buuuut I don't think they have too many in that age anyway. That's where the beloved "vets" are now so obviously there would be a good amount if they want to keep people's favorites. And Kristen plays to the younger male category anyway. Remains to be seen what they do with Eve, but I'll guess she will be involved with Daniel and Jennifer.
That age range has Jen (with her endless amounts of airtime), Hope (with somewhat more airtime this year compared to last year, and the very beginnings of a storyline), & Marlena (who has no story, and is barely seen). With the addition of Eve & Kristen, characters like Theresa/JJ/Jen/Dan & Brady/Eric/Nicole will get even more airtime devoted to their stories, which, combined with the fact that Alison's still around, means less time devoted to Hope & Marlena and developing a much needed teen/youth group.
There also aren't enough males in the age group (as I've stated before).
Yep. And there goes my hope for a John and Marlena story, unless J&M join together to take down Kristen.... Yea, and the chances of that happening under Tomlin's pen is ZERO. :shame:

Once again I'll have my three favorite women on DAYS; Kristian Alfonso, Eileen Davidson & Deidre Hall. I just wished SSH would be put on contract along with BH...

Those are my soap Queens

Eileen is at the bottom of the list for me. I wasn't a fan of the last run, and I think giving Kristen a baby at age 55 damages old story too.

I'm seriously bummed to see her back so soon before the show has had a good opportunity to change gears. Not a fan of this canvas at all.
I realize I'm not really watching, but it honestly doesn't even seem like she left. Half of what's going on is tied to her, and her exit was so anti-climatic. Also you know what no one will ever buy? A triangle with Theresa/Brady/Kristen. So that must not be going anywhere, lol.
Since when do they care if anyone buys it?

This is how I'm feeling about this news and the show right now. For me, I would have MUCH rather seen a heroine along the lines of Carrie or Belle come back and not a villainess. We already have Eve coming back on canvas---I don't think we need another troublemaker. And if Kristen comes back with Eric's child I may have to take a very long hiatus from Days---I hated her raping him with the fire of 1,000 suns.

I feel like John is only coming back to tell Brady that he was hatched out of an egg and so Marlena can yell at him for being a douchebag. I think we might see John 10-15 times before Kristen's return. She won't be wrecking anything when it comes to John and Marlena.

Gotta think Marlena will figure into the Kristen return heavily if she's pregnant and claims it to be either Eric's or Brady's. Kristen vs. Marlena and Kristen vs. Nicole were basically the highlights of her return for me so I'm hoping we get more of that. I think John will be a non-factor for Kristen because she really is just done with him.

Sure they can have babies, but the percent of women in their 50s who get pregnant naturally is nearly zilch. So yeah, Kristen showing up pregnant from just having sex with Eric or Brady would be amazing. I'm fine with it, but I'd like it better if the show called out the WTFery of it. Plus, I want to see Kristen's blood boil when people continually tell her they're shocked someone her age got pregnant, LOL.

I'm fine with this...but I would have appreciated a little bit more of a break...just when Ericole will be together, she shows up with baby I bet claiming it's Eric's but really it'll end up being Brady's...predictable but I can't wait for Nicole and ED to go at it...I predict that AZ will be the new leader in epi counts with AS gone and I couldn't be more happy about that.
I'd love to believe that AZ might be the new leader in the epi counts but I don't think there is much of a chance of it happening.

She's got a young daughter I imagine she's happy with her current workload and not particularly keen to increase it.

I just hope that she continues to get fabulous meaty storylines with the occasional snarkfest (with or without Victor) on Salem events and doesn't have to waste too much time on fluffy propping pieces.

I'd rather see them be relatives, through Jessica...not that Kristen is above getting with her relatives...

Sorry, but all these comments about how "Wtf?" it is for someone Kristen's age to get pregnant are just really bizarre to me. It's not like women who are 35+ just have their eggs turn to dust - it just decreases the ability to conceive for some women. Two of my aunts each a child in their 40's and another one in her 50's. And I know non-family members who have gotten pregnant at a later age as well. It's not just some soap opera trope that gets thrown around every couple of years. So I just don't get the whole "she's too old to get pregnant" excuse.

Now, Kristen's eggs being fried in that accident years ago or her constant drinking last year would be a more plausible argument for her unable to get pregnant.
