Pop up T! OH.EM.GEE. T wants to date Gabi, but Nick still wants Gabi and... T GOES RIGHT TO FRONTBURNER!
I'm so excited for more T, but I'm kinda nervous for him. If Nick hurts one little hair on his adorable head, I will cut a bitch. I really have learned to love Gabi when I used to hate her - and I don't want her to die. But there are anvils all over the place that she's going to come to a bad end, and to see T and Wilson have to deal with the aftermath would be something I would tune in for.

Plus, I think the point of the call was to emphasize Abby's giddy reaction.
I think it was that she took it as a "mixed message" rather than a whatever/throwaway line. The thing is Abby didn't need placating, exactly, as she wasn't being remotely hostile or plaintive (unless you count the "I know you don't want me to call you line" as hostile, which, maaayybe). I agree EJ was saying it was nice to hear from her just to "kill her with kindness," sort of, but Abby's confused reaction says to me she was pretty much ready to let things go (aside from the flashbacks I am sure she would be haunted by regardless). But now EJ's little line has given her something to think about, lol. So EJ's line was both EJ being a smoother operator, but also a small plot point to give Abby's attraction some extra life. I am all good with that fire continuing to kindle.
Wouldn't it be EJ's best interest to be on Abby's good side regardless of her attitude today. I mean she can tell Hope about their conversation (still not sure why that's a problem), she can also tell Sami about the affair. Sure and I don't think I said differently. This was brought up earlier in the thread and I said it was EJ trying to keep Abigail in his good graces. I just disagreed Abigail needing placating necessarily, because she sounded totally sincere to me on the phone (which I was like bah, I wish she hadn't sounded so earnest). And so it's because she was being so earnest that I think EJ's line threw her for a loop....like it didn't occur to her at the moment why he would need to say that as she wasn't putting up a fight about anything (which again, bah, I like it when she does). Abby has been able to call EJ out on his BS before, so she can sniff out a lie as we've seen. But I just think she was being so earnest that the need for EJ to play her escaped her for the moment. That plus the fact she's got it bad and might cling to his every word regardless, infer meaning where there is none. Maybe she'll suss it out soon enough (which might lead to another "power play" on her part).
I am not sure if any of that made sense. I am just suggesting another, not entirely different interpretation for Abigail's reaction today and the need for EJ's line which provoked it.

I love Chandler, but Guy is so much better in scenes with Nick Fallon. I agree. Guy's Will is more brooding and serious. I like it.

ok- After breaking my self-imposed hiatus from the show (for 3 days), I decided to watch today and I'm sick.
Sick of this stupid stalemate game that Ejami is on (And I'm a fan of Sami).
EJ- If you're getting your nuts dipped in the youthful pool of Abigail please let Sami go. Stop this fragile attempt to repair a relationship you single-handedly destroyed and continue to do so in every freaking episode. Joint custody is a very viable option and something you should consider if you're that worried about your children.
Sami- Either you let this Kristen/Eric thing go or get the fuck out of that mansion! You can't have it both ways! You love EJ then move the hell on. You don't- then leave. This hot/cold attitude is wearing thin and I'm getting sick and tired of it.
Abby- Chick, seriously how desperate are you for a man's attention? Granted EJ is laying it on thick with you- the man has a crazy ass fiance who will not stop until she sees you covered in red.- yeah your blood. Stop while you're ahead and if you're smart, wait until Ejami is over before hopping on that Dimera ride again. Trust me, if you do not put a stop to this, Horn-Dog EJ will fuck you until his prostrates fall out!
End of rant.

This is the second anvil they've dropped this week of Abby seeing the affair with EJ as something more than he sees it. I don't think she'll go full on Fatal Attraction, but I also think she won't go away as easily as EJ would like once he decides to move forward with Sami.

I don't think she'll go full on Fatal Attraction, but I also think she won't go away as easily as EJ would like once he decides to move forward with Sami. Yeah I didn't make myself clear.....I didn't mean to suggest I thought Abby didn't see the affair with EJ as more than what/how he sees it. Of course she does (which I don't have a problem or fault her for). I just disagreed she needed much more handling after that phone call with EJ in which she sounded painfully earnest. The reason EJ made the "nice to hear from you" comment was both to continue to play smooth, but also from a story pov to serve as the tiniest nugget of fodder to give her attraction extra life (not that she'd need more, what with all the flashbacks Days likes to throw at its characters). If EJ's intent was to make Abby go away, as it were, by making her believe he genuinely likes her and hasn't been manipulating her, it backfired (although, Abby seems to realize this anyway but doesn't care to an extent). So more than just the call made her giddy, it's that from it she wanted to infer extra meaning (these aren't opposing reactions...she was giddy because she found something hopeful, perhaps, in a non-sentiment). I am just suggesting she was thrown for a loop because she wasn't really fishing for more from EJ at the moment.
She might take his line as a sign he likes her. Or she might correctly conclude EJ was just making an extra play on her, which in turn might spur her to make an extra play on him. So where back to the maybe-I-will-tell-Hope thing. I wouldn't mind this being the case!

Sami- "He's a convicted murderer, we're 3 upstanding citizens ... mostly upstanding. It's not like we've served time in prison ... well a lot of time"
This line is amazing!! Loving this storyline I think I may be the only one here that didn't find those lines funny. To me it shows how Sami views herself which makes her completely stupid and delusional. If it hadn't been for Kate, she wouldn't have thought twice about being wrong. It will be why she'll have the nerve to be OTT angry with EJ and Abby when she herself doesn't know what 'faithful' means.

I agree. Guy's Will is more brooding and serious. I like it.
One thing that has carried over in both actors, and was on display today, is Will's protectiveness of Gabi. I think Will truly loves Gabi and always has, just not in a romantic/sexual way and even when I hated Gabi I liked that his devotion to her remained. I did enjoy the way Will went out to confront Nick, rather than running into him by accident or avoiding him as he once would have. It is nice to see that Will loves Gabby. Admittedly, I do miss the sexual chemistry Camilla and Chandler used to have, it added a messy element to things but Guy and Camilla's may be a bit more appropriate and still works.

I don't know. This is Days. They like to recycle the same conversations. I have a feeling that Abby saying "What just happened" means she's going to begin to second guess her decision not to go to Hope after all and have the umpteenth conversation with EJ about it.
And this time, I'm fine with the rinse, cycle, repeat.

I liked that Gabi finally acknowledged that she treated Will badly and that he doesn't even know about some of the bad stuff she did to him.
Gabi is growing on me and I really don't want anything bad to happen to her. I want her to maybe take time off or decide that she'll pursue modelling or something. I don't want her to go to jail, or worse die.

I don't want her to go to jail, or worse die. I find a sweetness in Gabi now that I want to protect for some reason. I didn't see it 2 years ago. I didn't even see it last year. But other than her kidnapping Melanie situation, she has never ever wanted to *hurt* anyone. She just wants to live with her daughter with her baby's daddy and his boyfriend. That's what really makes her the odd man out in the coven. Sami and Kate are known for their revenge tactics and usually don't give a shit how much they hurt their enemies.
So I don't know why suddenly I find Gabi so endearing except it's nice to find a character on this show that seems to just want bygones to bygones and go forward without anyone else getting hurt. That's so rare on this show.

Will is devoted to Gabi and has always cared about her. Even when she and Nick were trying to keep him out of the picture regarding the baby (when she had the sonogram appt but did not tell Will, etc) Will still felt loyalty to her (but not Nick). He is a loyal friend to have (to T, and Sonny, and Gabi and even Chad).

I think with Abby saying, "What just happened?" when she hung up the phone with EJ and the way he was looking out the windows saids that he is developing feelings for her. I guess we'll know in a few days the direction this EJabby thing is going. Right now they no longer have a reason to interact if "telling Hope" is no longer on the table.
So if we see a scene with EJ approaching Abby in a public place (or again in private), then it will further the argument that he is developing feelings. . or at least can't stay away. I think this is where the Adrienne minding her own business spoiler comes into play.
Abby has already said she doesn't want Jennifer on her ass about talking to EJ, so I can't see her initiating the next in person meeting. HOWEVER, it may be that EJ approaches her and tells her offhandedly where he'll be (i.e. at the gym). . and then supposed shower sex ensue. I do think there will be more in-person EJabby interaction soon, with lots of sexual tension and angst.

I love Chandler, but Guy is so much better in scenes with Nick Fallon.
I agree. Guy's Will is more brooding and serious.
I never saw a sexual chemistry between Will and Gabi even when they were dating.

Yes I agree. That's what Sonny loved about him from day one. :wub2:
