Sweet and Salty

Ok. I'm just gonna say it. Does EM have potmarks (acne scars) that they can't cover up? I notice two all the time!

Sami decided to completely change her wardrobe & hair later in the day after the christening. lol Meanwhile, everyone else is still dressed the same....
Well she was at home. In her defense I would totally do the same thing if I had a chance. Of course I haven't seen the change in hair yet!
Yeah, but she changed from one semi-tight dressy dress to another tight dressy dress. And straitened/flat-ironed her hair. If she were going to change clothes after the christening, you'd think she'd throw on jeans and sweater or something and put her hair up in a poneytail. lol

Ok, I get that soaps often love to create couples by starting them off battling each other, and generally it works and it's enjoyable, but this Aiden guys is way over the top. Where is his attitude coming from? He simply hates the Horton's and Brady's for some reason or he just a jerk.wish they were a little more subtle with this story.
It'd be kinda funny if Aiden and Chase wound up actually related to Horton Hatin' Anne wouldn't it??? :blulaugh:

Guy Wilson's angry face is kind of scrunchy. Wonder where he got that from. It's a good "genetic" acting choice in any event.
I was so looking forward to this Will & Nick scene, but GW really fell flat for me. The scutchy face and pursed lips really didn't help the situation.

Well, today officially began the "Torid Affair" phase between EJabby.

Why is Kate not listening to her damned instincts about Nick? Gah.

Who is this Sami, and where is her functioning brain?

Nick, I love you. You are my psycho hero. I like your targets, but Make.Them.Pay. I so enjoy your absolute, diabolical nuttiness.

So, far I'm liking the Hope and Aiden animosity. Speaking of Aiden, Daniel Cosgrove is a very handsome man. love the dimples, and sparkly eyes.

At one point, Maggie looked like Marlena. Then latter in the episode she reminded of Mrs. Santa Claus with her bun and eyeglasses reading in front of the fireplace.

Oh Abby eyeing on Theresa is great. Glad to see she has the Salem brain even when she is away from EJ.

Finally dick-head Brady goes to a bar for his booze instead of drinking in front if people parading through the Kiriakis place.

EJ's being so artificially Remington Steele smooth right now, but that "I'm glad you called" was sincere.
+1 and a swoon for the Remington Steele reference!

Oh there is the guest star to play the priest. Love him stopping Aiden going on..OMG, Hope's wink. It's like she's using that eyebrow as an offensive tactic winking.

Just a guess. He's grieving the loss of his wife. Worried sick over how his child is coping with the loss. The LAST think he needs is for his child to be tormented by another kid at school. He's lodged a complaint but it turns out the child is from an influential family and he feels he's not being taking seriously because all of Salem favors the Brady's.
Actually, Aiden's motivation is far more believable and understandable than Anne's.

I wish Gabi would have changed. She looks ridiculous in that outfit at their apartment.

Guy's first monologue line to himself.

I am not loving Abby apologizing for "threatening"....we all know EXACTLY what you were thinking Ms. Abigail....just run with it and embrace your kittymeowmeow ways. Although of course it makes sense she'd crash down to earth and do a "What was I thinking?" sort of thing. Maybe after a few more outbursts of this type of behavior, she won't backtrack as much. Takes practice like anything I guess ;)
LOTS and LOTS of practice... :whip:

I really do like Father Louis. I hope we get to keep him on as part of DAYS regular stable of recurring, ancillary characters
It sounds like he's the Principal/Headmaster of St. Luke's Academy.
Well, I TOTALLY prefer him over Father John Jackson Gibbs Walton! ^o)
He's also a Booth on the show Bones.

Oh, nice scene of JJ/Theresa with Anne/Bev in background AND then Abby arrives.
I really liked the staging/direction of that. It was almost like a scene dissolve without using any sort of visual special fx. lol

In that case, I'm not sure why she bothered. That's what happens when I post blindly, so to speak! :whistling:

I know Maggie gets condemned for her meddling, and most of the time she deserves it. But she's acting like a sponsor is supposed to act and Brady is being a giant douche. SR's reactions are heart breaking.

seriously. That slit in Abby's leather skirt is high & HOT
LOL yes. And ergonomic as we saw yesterday.
Okay, I'm just gonna go there. . . uh did they do the deed yesterday our was there "linen interruptus"? I mean neither actually said, but the skirt was hiked up high enough and his pants were down. . .

Thoughts?
Um...I've examined the Ejabby clip with the thoroughness of a CSI investigator. :embarrassed: There was definitely insertion and some humping. They just didn't get completion.

Yeah except Abby's "Stanford" is related to "Mr. Big's" fiancee'! LOL!

I love SaTC! :wub2: Berger was such an arse in that episode and I still hate him for the post it note!!

Off the topic but I'll never get used to how many commercial breaks US television has.. Just crazy.
There are about 5 more min of commercials during daytime broadcasts than in primetime. (i.e., Days has about 36-37 min of actual programming, while SVU has 42-43 min. (to use a direct NBC-to-NBC comparison))
Okay.. We've got practically nothing going on in daytime TV except for shopping channels, chat programs and reruns. Primetime shows have usually only 3 breaks but the overall duration of commercials is around the same, I'd guess.. And I'm super happy that eg. Downton Abbey airs on a free channel without any commercials thehe :)
