Doubtful. I think it had more to do with the negative reaction he received. |

Did they win for all the three scripts they'd submitted or for a single one of them? It's interesting what were the other two scripts?

As for WGA, they only read scripts. Performance matters for the Emmys. This episode is a decent one for the Emmys, too. Another good episode is 11-12-13 but not all performances are flawless there, IMO (and by that I mean, JT, LOL). Edited by thepadange, Feb 3 2014, 09:22 AM.

I think the show can submit their 3 best scripts and based on those 3 a winning script is chosen and contrasted against the best offerings from the other nominees. This is how I have always understood it to be...but I might be wrong and its quite possible all 3 scripts are rewarded. I would love to find out what the other scripts were. |

I really really hope that RC tweet about no shows who have fi-core headwriters should win a WGA, costs him a nomination at this years Emmys. It would be very fitting since it is those OTHER writers that he basically insulted, that will be the ones deciding his fate at the Emmys.

I wouldn't be surprised if this is the scene Eileen submits for the Emmys. Can you submit more than one scene? Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image Edited by Graceland, Feb 3 2014, 12:44 PM.

You have to first submit a reel containing up to two unedited scenes, with a time limit cap of 4 minutes. These scenes can be from the same episode or not, so long as they aired during 2013. You also have to choose your category placement, this means you can submit in ANY category you want to (except in the Younger categories where the age limit is 25). That being said, performers 25 and under can still submit for contention in the upper categories if they choose to. From there all eligible academy members will have the opportunity to view all of the submitted reels and will select the 10 best reels per category. The highest 10 vote getters will be the pre-nominees for the year in each category. If you are one of the 10 pre-nominees, you then have to submit a reel containing your scenes from 1 entire episode (for 1 hour shows) or 2 back-to-back episodes (for half hour shows). These episodes do not have to be the ones you chose for pre-nomination, so actors can switch after they are pre-nominated. At this point your episode is then judged by a blue-ribbon panel of judges having no direct involvement with any of the daytime dramas. The top 5 vote getters (that number fluctuates based on ties or how many submissions they receive for pre-nomination contention) will determine the final nominees and also the winner as the highest vote getter will be the winner. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vg_kG-jMgVs Another episode I could see Eileen submitting in her reel. I think it is great that Eileen's best work is usually alongside Deidre. The two of them and their respective characters truly are something amazing on screen. One of televisions best rivalries. http://youtu.be/-KSGNCooJY4 http://youtu.be/-rQNexxawek DOOL should easily submit this episode as one for writing/best drama I think. Everything from the direction, script, music was all spot on. Drama at its' finest. Edited by ShaneDOOLFan, Feb 3 2014, 01:28 PM.
