It was the last week for Muhney & Miller on Y&R. I'm not sure about B&B.

Y&R had HUGE stories climaxing and two of their leading men left on the same day so I think people tuned in to see that. Maybe B&B just piggybacked off of that. I don't know since I don't watch or read about B&B, but people on my Twitter timeline are totally polarized by the show. Some think its the best soap ever and some think its just boring.

Weren't people boycotting Y&R cause of the MM thing? I guess that didn't really work, lol.

Y&R was really good last week. IT was the showdown with Billy and Adam.
And Days is doing great. Being in the 3 million mark or close by means Days is going in the right direction with their storytelling.

I took out the dailies because SON specifically asks that the full ratings not be copy/pasted.

As I understand it, the boycott started the day Adam was written out, which was December 30th, so it's about a week too soon to say it didn't work.

Days and GH both had big drop from Thursday to Friday. I wonder if it was one time where you can contribute Y&R with causing that. With Billy Miller and Michael Muhney both exiting on that day some people might have switched over for a day. I know that I was tempted, but I was actually enjoying Days too much to try it. Or there could have been other circumstances, but its odd that those two shows dropped ~ 300,000 while Y&R and B&B held steady.

I don't remember a lot happening that week.. When was the start of the shower scenes?

Monday
EJ gives Abigail a warning; Kate, Sami and Gabi worry their secret will come out.

Tuesday
Nicole finds out Eric is leaving town; Eric's exoneration seems hopeful to Daniel.

Wednesday
EJ tells Sami that things must change; JJ attempts to throw Theresa off track.

Thursday
Daniel and Nicole come up with a way to clear Eric's name; JJ worries Theresa won't fall into his trap

Friday
Nicole and Daniel track down Dr. Chyka; Jordan rescues Rafe from a tense situation.

They don't appear to be doing anything for sweeps or to take advantage of the olympic's audience, so I'm guessing they're going to start dropping...unless they've been keeping something quiet and are about to start promoting it.

I doubt it as DAYS and GH do not air opposite Y&R is almost all markets across the US.

DAYS always seems to benefit when more eyeballs are on NBC in general.

People tend to put the channel on and leave it there all day during the Olympics, so we will see.

That's true. It's just really weird that they don't seem to have anything big planned. Maybe it won't matter.
