Is it just me or does anybody else have the urge to correct people's"moot point" to moo point?
I mean, it's like a cows opinion. It doesn't matter. Its moo. Don't forget the ever popular "mute point". That one is poo.

I agree. And it's pretty much the way Sami loves too. That still doesn't mean I wouldn't put a boot in his ass, love or not.
Exactly. They both have an unhealthy, obsessive attraction to each other. They have extreme passion that manifests itself in both great and terrible ways. We've seen them make each other really happy and make each other completely miserable. And because of that they probably shouldn't be together, but they can't seem to stay away. It's not a great relationship by any standard, but it makes for entertaining soap.
Yep. I believe that's been referenced many times over the course of their relationship. Sami told him that during Daysaster...they are the opposite of good together, when they get together disaster ensues. Also, EJ said it more recently that they can't be away from each other..they're miserable, etc. I think JS also referenced it at DOD, that they can't stay away from each other. I think for as long as AS is on screen they'll be involved with each other in one facet or another. They're far from healthy but they can be damn entertaining. I don't find them entertaining. Can there be a place for dysfunctional couples on TV? Possibly. But I don't think soap operas are necessarily a good vehicle for it and Days isn't doing EJami any favors. Since 2014 started we've seen little evidence that EJami even like each other right now. I know that can change in a blink of an eye, but for all the crying and whining about how Ejabby are "whiplash" going back and forth I can certainly say EJami are the same way. Hell, you had back to back episodes with EJami being so cold to each other (when he got back from his 2nd trip to Smith Island) and then the next episode suddenly they are laughing and joking and I guess he was going to carry her upstairs for sex until Marlena dared to call to say Eric was in the hospital. THEN Sami was right back blaming EJ for everything.
I don't find that entertaining. I find it eye rolling. I prefer couples to have some good old fashioned romance on TV and EJami never goes there because there relationship is built on lies and strategies. Whatever. I was fast forwarding the before Ejabby so I guess I can go back to that until the Ejabby photos come back and finally end them like they should have done months ago.
But I'm going to say this, I hope if EJ is serious about getting his life back with Sami, he shows some God honest guilt over screwing Abby. He's showed it ONE TIME and that was several fucks ago. Maybe that's what the necklace is for, seems like it's the same pattern he did with Nicole but I'm sure there will be excuses of how this time its just totally different.

Exactly. Corday admitted that he knew there was strong support for Ejami in the GA, and he wanted a story that would have the audience "throwing sandwiches at their TVs." Wonderful way to treat the show's fans, KC.
I just dont think that is true. I mean come on we are hitting the 3 million mark in viewers recently for like the past month. Days was no where near that mark in 2013 (a heavy Ejami year) with the exception of the Kristen s/ls.
It could be because of the polar vortex though. I have seen the "polar vortex" mentioned in relation to an apparent uptick in ratings for Days but I don't understand the connection between the two. When I am home because of illness, bad weather,or just a mental health day,I don't always watch television. When I do watch television,I don't watch something I don't like. Can someone fill me in on the reasoning for the bad weather=increased ratings for Days .

Ratings in general typically do go up when there is bad weather. However, if it's solely because of the weather, they usually don't stay up. The weather is probably a contributing factor right now, but if people weren't liking what they were seeing, they'd change the channel. That's what I did. ;)

KM and JS have chemistry or the writers wouldnt have put them in so many sex scenes.
Days always hits the mark with sex scenes and chemistry.
Oh. No just no. I very strongly disagree.
I think we agree. I'm disagreeing with the comment.
"Days always hits the mark with sex scenes and chemistry"
unless it was a sarcastic comment and I missed the tone I don't think we are agreeing.
Maybe next week will be Worst Days Love scenes week which will save me the need to look for supporting evidence.

And I'm also 103% positive that when that poster initially reads that I have said that, their first instinct will be to sarcastically deny it.

I think itīs possible that Ejabby has has a positive effect on the ratings and not just the wheather, but I donīt think that is the same as to say that there are more people liking Ejabby than Ejami. It could just means that those who tuned out because of Ejami has come back plus new viewers.
There's no reason to say any of that. Ejabby aren't the only thing airing. The only thing that can really be said is that ejabby hasn't hurt the ratings, just like ejami didn't hurt the ratings. As for what's helping them, that can't really be identified.
Why are fans so concerned about ratings? I know some people who are into it because they have an interest in stats but it always surprises me how so many people are hung up on ratings.
Well, for the last few years it's been because it's like a death watch, lol. Ultimately, I think it's because "we" mistakenly think they back up our arguments. They don't. The only reason I am concerned about ratings is the higher the ratings, the more likely the show will stay on the air.I was happy with the two year renewel and if the ratings stay higher, the show will likely be on the air for many years to come.I like the soap genre and Days in particular so I want it to continue.I don't have a problem ignoring characters/storylines I don't like and focusing on the ones I do like.As I have repeatedly posted I don't like EJ with Sami and do like EJ with Abby but however it plays out,I will be watching as long as the show is airing.

For a second I thought I had logged into the Ejami fanboard by mistake. I could care less how much James loves Ejami. He's loved other pairings too but that didn't stop the show from going in another storyline direction.
Well that would be a change from the past two weeks where it clearly looked like an Ejabby board. Personally ,I love EJ and Abby but you definitely have a point.I kept waiting for a Lysie smackdown but it never came( or I missed it).

Probably not but I would not be surprised if he would like to work with AZ again. Honestly, I would like them to explore Ejabby. I dont know if they would actually work as a couple but I am curious about it. I am just happy that the show gave EJ and Abby a try.I now have had a pairing for EJ that could currently since it is unlikely they will re-vist EJ and Nicole and I will soon get fall out that will include practically everyone in Salem when their sexual relationship is revealed.

Her hookers clothes, wet hair, hurry up and get out of here, walk of shame should be enough to turn her off from what is happening. Apparently she really isn't into having dignity and self respect. How romantic. The clothes were tacky, but she didn't choose them and at least she could cover them up with her coat. Better than being cold.
Unfortunately I've seen others wear cheap looking things that they actually chose to wear. Latter-day Sami comes to mind. What she wore to the Brady/Kristen non-wedding reminded me of biker bar chick. Tight black leather dress and spike red heels. Sami can look nice sometimes, but other times she looks cheap IMO.

I'd like them to explore Ejabby as a couple too, but only because I think that would be the quickest path to their destruction, LOL.
I think Ejabby as a legit couple mutually in love might happen in 6 months if JS stays, and I think he's staying. The best thing they can do now is have another person show interest for Abby. Gives her something to do up to the point of the reveal and then the fallout has him around to support her. At that point they can move Ejabby forward. With Sami leaving if JS stays I can see him be the wedge between Bebby. That is when Ejabby's love story may begin, if the show wants to go there, they've set it up pretty good.
I think the biggest obstacle to Ejabby happening at some point in the future is KM. She has about 10 more months of taping before she hits the four-year mark. If she stays past that time, she'd be the only young actor in the past decade or so to do so. If both she and JS stick around, they'll probably revisit them at some point. Although Ejabby as a legit couple sounds even worse to me than Ejabby as an affair. They left but where are they now.As far as I know.Ashley Benson is the only person making her mark in prime time even though the show is not on a major network. Is there anyone who has left that has a sucessful career in the entertainment field? If so,who? KM would to well to emulate AZ in taking acting classes to keep her skills honed and stay with Days until she gets a better offer.

I think KM is fine, and I think she actually does well when she has real material, but I can't really compare her to AS or AZ. She hasn't had anything like the material they've had and this kind of story isn't really giving it to her at this point yet either. My guess is that she'd be somewhere between AZ and AS, but my other guess is that we'll never really know. I am really interested in your reason(s)for your belief that we wil never really know.Is it that you don't believe that she could get decent material during the reveal and fall out after the reveal ?

She may get a little but it will pale in comparison to the kind material AS and AZ get and it probably won't be more than a few scenes. And I bet she leaves when her contract is up.

And regardless of the odds, they all seem to want their shot. SH, MB, CD, CM, CB - they all left at the end of their first contract cycle. I'd be surprised if KM didn't.
