I don't get why Marlena is in favor of a Wilson marriage. I feel like it's just Days wanting to push the story ahead. Marlena's usually more 'don't rush into things', and how old is Will, anyway?
Isn't Will about twenty-one? And is it a good idea to marry the first and only boyfriend you've ever had? I would really have a problem if my child wanted to get married at twenty-one years old.......and he might be even younger.
I think Will is at least 21 since they have shown him drinking on multiple occasions. He was also 20 last year when Ari was born. And we all know that he was supposed to have a birthday recently, even if it was the totally wrong date!

If my grandson or son had an amazing guy like Sonny, who loves him and his daughter, I would tell him to hold on with 2 hands and never let go! Life is way too short!!

I agree that 20-21 is young to get married, especially to your first boyfriend but their situation isn't typical. Sonny has already proven himself a great guy in many ways, especially in regards to Arianna. Given their lives the way they are being written, I'd say that Will should snatch Sonny up as soon as he feels ready. Life, especially in Salem, in unpredictable as hell. Take a big chance when it comes around. :)
Their relationship is 'unique' in one more way. Hetero-sexual couples take it for granted that they can wait as long as they want and get married whenever they want. However, gay marriage laws can change on a dime and not usually for the positive.

I hope Nicole doesn't hide the evidence that clears Eric name.

Missed a couple of the first minutes...

but Nick is creeping on Abigail.

EJami are having a heart to heart about Eric.

Brady is still inexplicably in Daniel's apartment and talking to Nicole.

Father Louis and Eric ...yawn. Eric needs to do something other than sit around and talk about thinking.
So do we know how Nicole got back? Did she fly on SuperTan's wings?
Well

Dr Chyka drove to the cabin in the woods.

Dan and Nicole drove to the cabin in the woods.

Ricardo drove to the cabin in the woods.

Dan and Ricardo left the cabin in the woods in Ricardo's car and Dan was getting the train back to Salem after he dumped the car.

Chyka left the cabin in the woods so unless he can drive two cars at once I imagine Nicole took the other car back.

Will looked and was dressed like an old man. GW is very meh as Will to me.

I want to like him in the role, but I don't. He isn't Will to me at all.

Gabi is still defending Nick and saying it would be good if Nick had changed. Ari cries, Gabi leaves and a very frustrated Sonny texts Sami.

So, Sami can't go home to the cupcake baking party.

Johnny now things Abigail is the greatest thing ever and asks EJ if he thinks she's awesome. Awkward.
Maybe Abby has a sorority jacket she can give Johnny.

Brady runs into Father Louis.

Nicole is still caffeinated and excited by her evidence. There's a knock...it's Eric!
What's wrong with Father Matt?

I assume the actor must not be well. It seems strange that they have a new priest in for these scenes.

Loved Sonny's reaction to everything Gabi was saying and yet I can also see Gabi's point - she desperately wants to believe that Nick has changed so that what happened would just go away and never be mentioned again. Loved Sami's passionate tirade about the woman Kate is and I like how she's telling Nick to put the cards on the table.

I think you are dead on about Gabi's mindset, but there comes a point when you have to deal with the reality of the situation no matter how unpleasant. This is her third go round with a Machiavallian Nick. It's time for her to grow up. Sigh.

You know, Sami has more passion and energy in scenes with Gabi, Sonny, Will and Kate than I ever see her in with EJ. I actually enjoy seeing her in scenes with them. The scenes with EJ always seems to fall flat.

For me, it's more that I don't feel anything from him. I'm not saying he can't act, because I think he can. But there's a lack of connection or emotion, depth of feeling, or something.

I feel like Brady's view of the Eric-Kristen rape changes daily.
It does seem that way but I like it that way.

I think if something like that happened to you you would have days where you would convince yourself you're all up about it and you will go on and be stronger bla di bla and then other days when it would cripple you.

Mostly I'm just 200% happy that it hasn't just been pushed under the rug and I don't have to watch scenes of Eric, Kristen, and Brady laughing about it in the Brady Pub. (not that I would be surprised when that happens)

Pretty soon Abigail is going to start breaking into the mansion and wearing Sami's clothes and telling people she is Johnny and Syd's "mommy"... Fatal Attraction Countdown!!!

I am a little bit intrigued.

Gaby is an idiot. Sonny knows it.

Ericole was adorable but since Nicole has all the information and the only one who knows about it... I have a REALLY bad feeling.

Good episode, enjoyed it all around:)

Today EJabby felt more about them than Ejami. I haven't read any spoilers, but yeah, I got the sense that they are not going to stay away from one another.

Yeah, there're definitely going somewhere with these two. When Abigail said she was a problem to EJ that was pretty telling.

It took a couple of episodes, but now I see him as Will rather than Guy Wilson.

Yes I have a really bad feeling about it to.

Can we please please please have her not self sabotage things at this point.

I've had a whole year of personal growth and self flagellating can we just have something a little different this time and give Nicole some chance at happiness.

I want external Ericole angst only.

I do too, which bums me out. Six months ago, I would've totally bought Nicole burying that information to ensure Eric couldn't be a priest. But he JUST told her that he asked to be released from his vows because he's in love with her and wants to spend the rest of his life with her. What possible motivation would she have for not coming clean????

With respect to Gabi being an idiot, women with abusive partners - even educated and intelligent ones - often do things that seem really dumb to an outsider. Because they want to believe they didn't make a mistake by loving a person, they remember the good times and affection and what drew them to the person, they are super inclined to blame themselves for any abusive (I hadn't been so mad about the trick he pulled on me about the modeling, then he wouldn't have tried to rape me and then I hit him with a rock, which was awful, no wonder he hates me!). People who get away from their abusers for good often talk about it like somewhere their logical brain was locked inside trying to get out but they couldn't find it.

Anyway, Gabi wants Nick to be nice and everything to go away, and she wants to believe that she didn't fall in love with a controling, rapey sociopath.

I said it in the upthread, Sonny is right. But pushing Gabi to see the truth is going to work. Best thing, get her on Marlena's couch. In real life, Marlena would be to close to be her therapist, but whatever, it's a soap and I like when Marlena does her job.

this is SO TOTALLY old-school 1980s supercouple soap and I. AM. HERE!
So am I. OMG, how I have been missing a slow build (super)couple on soaps. Ericole are now my #2 after Mason and Julia.

I just hope my favorite youtube site for quick Ericole uploads will not disappoint.

Excuse me please <runs off>
Love your avatar :wub2:
Thanks...they don't write characters, who develop and are not basically there for plot points anymore... like the Mason Capwell character. God, he was so sophisticated, cultivated, so handsome, sexy and so mean often ...but you got to understand why he was who he was with all his flaws, because Daddy Don ...oops CC Capwell, lol... never loved him like he loved his kids with Sophia! They don't write character growth like that anymore unfortunately.

Exactly! I look at these situations differently for everyone. In general, I don't think people should get married and have kids before they are 30. However, life brings things to you when they are meant to happen.

Unfortunately I have seen 2 cousins lose their spouses way too young, so it was a good thing they were at least together, if not married, when they were so young!

Of course this is a soap and different rules apply, but I don't see people making such a big deal about how young some of the old school "super couples" were when they got together.
For those of you who were watching, how did Marlena feel about Sami getting pregnant back in the day?

Yeah while she was having her 10 hour monologue today explaining everything with the Kristen/Eric stuff... I was like "Why is she doing this?" "why not have her and Daniel talking about it instead of her talking to herself?" Well now I see why. They want Nicole to be the only one to really knows what happens so that she can keep it from Eric.

First Ejami, and now probably Ericole... I have bad luck as a shipper. I give up...lol
