I am probably the only one who thinks this, but I liked Aiden and Jennifer. They have a nice vibe.
Jen already has 2 men to choose from. She doesn't get to put her paws on Hope's only one.
Jennifer-centric triangles fill me with a stabby sort of rage. The two men she's currently dangling need to cut themselves loose from her simpering, self-righteous suckitude and celebrate their lucky escapes. The character has been so badly fucked up for the last three years that I'm shipping Aloneiffer until someone in charge recognizes the damage that's been done and starts fixing Jennifer as an individual instead of half of a dud couple. Meanwhile, Jen-Jen can keep her grabby, man-hungry little mitts to herself for a change. Hope may not be my favorite character but she deserves her turn in the spotlight and a shot with another potential love interest since Bo is not on the canvas. At least she and Aiden are interacting realistically over something believable, like their children. He's not reinstalling her heart or fondling any of her other internal organs. And their mutual antagonism is also much more plausible than Jennifer's instant Daniel-worship.

GW doesn't remind me of Will at all. To me it's like watching a new character with Sonny.

I like Aiden. I love what I'm seeing with him and Hope. I would be ENRAGED if Days tried to pair him with Jen-Jen. She would only ruin him with her suckage anyway. They can be friends though. lol
Yeah maybe, I like Hope too.. I was just thinking that maybe Aiden could make Jennifer interesting again (watchable). I guess I am just trying to find excuses to avoid seeing Dannifer on my screen.

Director: Steven Williford
Scriptwriter: David Cherrill

Segment 1: Hope tells the group that Homeland Security tracked Chyka using facial recognition software. They think they know where he is.

Will is on the phone thanking Gabi and repeating that he will text her when it's okay to come home. After the call he checks the time - It should be getting there right about now. He looks around the room and then makes a mad dash to another room.

Sonny is working at the bar. Terry delivers a package - This just came for you. He opens it. It appears to be a photo album. SK Love You WH. Sonny flips through the pictures and smiles. He asks Terry to finish the invoices; he has somewhere he needs to be.

JJ is putting on a tie in the living room of the Horton house. Abby asks if he's nervous. JJ - Wouldn't you be? Abby - Absolutely but last night you were Mr. Confident. JJ - Last night I wasn't going to be facing a Judge and being sentenced; today I am. Abby helps with his tie. Abby says he'll be fine. The Judge said himself that if you keep your nose clean you'd just get probation so you have nothing to worry about.

Theresa is in the square staring at a purse through a window. I'm not going to have that. JJ screwed me over. Brady says hi. She tells him she's in a rush. Brady stops her - I know what you're doing and you really need to let it go.

Dan asks how soon can they make an arrest. Hope - That's the problem. Chyka went to Morocco; we don't have an extradition treaty with Morocco. Dan - Which means they won't send him back to stand trial. Eric - Then I'll never be able to clear my name. Dan still thinks there's a way.

Jen is now in the living room. She introduces Aiden to JJ. Jen - Justin Kiriakis speaks very highly of you. Abby - Yeah he does otherwise you wouldn't be representing JJ, right? Aiden - I've got nothing but respect for Justin, believe me. So how are you feeling JJ? JJ - Nervous. Aiden - It's alright; it's understandable. Today should be pretty much pro forma. There has been one small hiccup though. A letter came to the Judge last night. It was pretty negative saying that you don't deserve a break, you shouldn't be trusted, things like that. Jen - Who would do that?

Theresa - You have no idea ... Brady - I know. I have no idea because I'm rich and I have no idea what it's like to want expensive things. Seriously ... that ... he points to the purse. Theresa claims it's not just any purse. Brady - And I'm supposed to be impressed by that? Theresa - Yeah very. It's a limited edition. All I can do is dream about owning it. Brady - Maybe good things come to those who wait. Theresa tells him not to start rattling off clichés. Brady likes clichés; he has many more of them if she's interested. Theresa - Maybe I can hear them later. I could maybe stop by Daniel's place. Brady - I'm not going to be there. Daniel is back. I'm not staying there anymore. Theresa - Daniel's back? Brady - He got back this morning.

Dan says he essentially admitted everything. They got it on video. He developed the drugs for Kristen to use and he knew when she used them. He actually has more drugs. Eric - Did he tell you where to find them? Dan - He was about to when the hired gun showed up. The guy tried to make sure none of us could ever talk again. Once I fought him off I thought it was smart to get him out of there ... Eric - Which is when you took him to the train station. Dan - Nicole, did Chyka say anything after I left? Did he give you anything we could use. Cue flashback of Nicole opening the safe and finding the proof they need. Nicole lies - No, sorry. Dan says they're going to Chyka's hideout and search the place from top to bottom. Hope - Not going to happen. The police are there right now and apparently someone beat them to it. The place was stripped and wiped clean so if there is any evidence at all to implicate Chyka or clear Eric's name it's obviously not there. Nicole turns around and stares at the evidence.

Segment 2: Sonny comes home and calls out Will's name. Will comes into the living room. Sonny notices that Will is wearing the shirt he gave him for Christmas. Will told him he'd save it for special occasions. Sonny - So Valentine's Day made the cut. Will - This is more than just Valentine's Day. They kiss.

JJ - Who sent the Judge that letter; do you know? Aiden - The owner of the store where you were caught shoplifting. Abby - Did she say that she changed her mind about pressing charges? Aiden - No, she just wanted to express to the Judge that she doesn't think JJ should get off scott free. She suggested community service which actually is right in line with what the Judge is thinking anyways. Jen - Thank God. That's great. Abby tells JJ he'll be fine. Jen asks for a minute with Mr. Jennings. JJ is going to head over to the Courthouse; he can't wait around here anymore. Abby will go with him. They leave. Jen - Mr. Jennings, I need you to be honest with me. Is there a chance that my son could go to prison because I'm telling you if I walk out of that courthouse today without my son I don't know what I'm going to do.

Maggie and Victor return to the mansion. Maggie loves that museum. They have such nice presentations and new works and it was very romantic of you to take me there on Valentine's Day. She kisses him. Victor - It had nothing to do with romance woman. I just wanted one of those soft pretzels they have in the café. Maggie wishes she could stay with him and relax but ... Victor - I know. You have to go to court and hold Jennifer's hand. Maggie - Do you think the Judge is going to come down on him hard. Victor - Goldberg? I've played poker with him. He's sort of a tight-ass; hard to read. Good luck. I have a meeting with Brady; some Titan business. Maggie - If you have a chance talk to him about checking into rehab, please.

Theresa has to run. Brady will see her around. Theresa - Not at Daniel's though. You'll have to find a new place to drink in secret. Brady - I don't need to hide my drinking. I just like my privacy. Theresa - Don't worry, I can keep a secret. Brady declares it's not a secret as she leaves.

Eric is going to step outside to give Fr. Matt an update. Hope tells Nicole she needs to talk to her. Nicole gathers up the evidence saying she has to take a shower and get ready for work. Dan - Hope, I know you're really ticked off and we shouldn't have gone off like that on our own. But if charges are going to be filed this was completely my idea. Nicole has a record. She could go to prison if she gets charged and all through this her heart was in the right place.

Nicole is in the bathroom going through the evidence. Cue yet another flashback of Eric telling her he's asked to be released from his vows. She mutters - If I show him this it changes everything but is that what I should do.

Segment 3: Sonny is leafing through the photo album. You put so much time and effort into this I feel like my gift is going to be lame now. Will - I'll love it. Hand it over. Sonny - Just so you know this is more of a token ... Will - Hand it over Kiriakis. Sonny - Happy Valentine's Day. Will opens it. E.M. Forster. He wrote Passage To India. Will has never read this. Sonny - It's a gay love story about a guy name Maurice who knew that he was gay from his early teens and Forster wrote this in 1913 but it didn't get published until the 70's after he was dead. Will - 'Cause it was about a gay man. Sonny - Being gay was illegal back then in Britain and people would actually get sent to prison because of it. We're lucky, people are a lot more accepting these days. Will - In some places. This is such a cool gift. I love it. I'm going to start reading it right away. Sonny is glad he likes it. Will - I almost forgot. There's actually another page for the photo album. Will hands it over. Sonny reads - February 14th, 2014 The day Will finally wised up and said yes to Sonny.

Hope is going to state the obvious. What he and Nicole did was illegal. We've got unlawful imprisonment, assault, kidnapping, failing to report a criminal act ... her cell rings ... Sorry, give me a minute. I'm sure I can add to that list. She steps outside to take the call. Dan tells Eric that 24 hours ago he thought they had the mother lode, we were going to have everything you needed. Eric knows and he's always going to be grateful for what he did. From day one you've always been on my side. You've gone out of your way so many times ... Dan - And what, accomplished nothing. This last little stunt we pulled; maybe we should have brought the police in ... Eric - Don't blame yourself. Sometimes you've just got to accept God's plan. Dan - Maybe you can. Eric - I can. Nicole comes out as Eric says - I've had a lot of time to reflect these past few weeks and just yesterday I had a major revelation ... he stops when he sees Nicole. Nicole says she has to get to work but she needs to talk to Eric about something important. Have you got a minute? Eric - Sure.

Aiden - I understand your fear, I have a son myself but I truly doubt there's anything to worry about. Justin struck a truly terrific deal with the D.A. There's no reason the Judge won't accept it. Jen - That's great. Thank you Mr. Jennings, I feel better. Aiden - Good. There is something you can do that would make me feel much better. Stop calling me Mr. Jennings, okay. That was my father. Jen - I'm sorry Aiden. Thank you so much. Aiden - Well let's go get this over with.

JJ and Abby walk into the courtroom. Abby says hi to Abe. Abe says hi and ask JJ how he is. JJ - Okay I guess; a little nervous. Abe - If you don't mind I'm going to stick around for the sentencing; let Judge Goldberg know you have people in your corner. JJ - Thanks. Abe - You know your Dad would be really proud of you; that you worked so hard to turn your life around. Abby - Yeah he has. Abe - My guess is everything's going to be fine so hang in there. Abe steps away to take a call. Abby asks JJ if she can get him anything. JJ - A bottle of water. Abby will be right back. Theresa walks in. Brings back old times, huh?

Segment 4: Sonny - So yes means ... Will - Yes! Yes to you. Yes to you and me. Sonny is excited. He reminds Will he said that he wanted to wait until everything was right. Will - I was just so worried about all this baggage that I was dragging with me. This whole Nick thing, my mom always getting into trouble and Stefano stealing that evidence from the cops ... the list is endless. But I realised if we keep waiting for these things to get taken care of then ... Sonny - It might never happen. Will - We'd have wasted so much time trying to fix things that weren't fixable. So if the offer still stands ... Sonny - Of course it still stands. Will - Sonny Kiriakis, I would love to marry you. They kiss.

Victor thinks throwing rehab in Brady's face might be a mistake. He's living in the corporate suites. He's got camera's on him 24/7 and no signs of problems of any kind. Maggie - He's an addict. He's using alcohol as a substitute for cocaine and he's not getting the help that he needs. If we don't talk him into going to rehab there's only one way this is going to end. Vic will keep a sharp eye on him. I think he's handling everything quite well. I mean one glass of wine, really? Maggie - Addicts can be very deceptive when they want to be. Vic - Give it a rest. I know what I'm doing. Maggie hopes so. Brady's life depends on it. She leaves.

Brady stares at Eric's contact info and pic on his cell. He recalls his encounter with Nicole.

Eric suggests that they walk out together and they can talk on the way. He's going to see Fr. Matt. Eric thanks Daniel again for everything. Dan says he's not giving up. The evidence is out there and we are going to find it. Hope tells Nicole that she has to get a statement from her. Nicole says okay then leaves with Eric. Dan tells Hope he means it. If anyone is going to get charged for this, it's going to be me. Hope - Relax. With Chyka gone there's no one to press charges. Dan - That's good to know. Hope - I know you were trying to help Eric but the next time you get a lead, call me. Dan - You got it. Hope needs to get to the ... Dan - Can I just ask you for one favour.

JJ - What are you doing here? Theresa - I had to come by and pay a parking ticket so since I knew your sentencing was today I thought I'd come by and wish you good luck. What, you think I'm here to cause trouble. JJ - I hope not because if you are you'll be headed back to California tonight in handcuffs. What's the name of the prison they'll put you in? Theresa - Oh God, relax JJ. I lost, you won. I'm still trying to get over it. JJ - Try a little harder on your way out. Abby returns - What the hell are you doing here? Theresa - Wishing your brother good luck. Maybe we'll both get what we want today. She leaves.

Segment 5: Brady and Victor conclude their business meeting. Brady says it's time to celebrate. Dry martini, right? Vic - Don't you think it's a little early? Brady - Not for this guy. Besides, as I recall, when you had your martini was never as important as how dry it was. Is there a problem.

Nicole and Eric are in the square. Nicole - I'm just saying wait. Back at the apt. you almost told Daniel you were leaving the priesthood. Eric - I just don't understand why that would upset you. Nicole - What if the police bring in Chyka or evidence shows up. Just don't jump the gun. Eric - The chances of that happening are slim to none besides I've already spoken with Fr. Matt and the Bishop. Nicole - You didn't put anything in writing, did you? Eric - No, not yet. Nicole - So back off a little bit. Think about it. Maybe we should take a little time to re-evaluate.

Dan - I know JJ's probation hearing is today. Hope - Which is why I need to get over there. Let me guess, you want a report. Dan - I'd appreciate it. I think it'll all work out ... Hope - You just want to know for sure and you don't think you should contact Jen. You still love her. Dan - I just want to do what's best for her and JJ. Hope - It seems like you're always trying to make everyone else happy; maybe someday you can make yourself happy. You deserve that Daniel. I'll text you a report. She leaves.

Court is in session. Aiden - I trust everything is in order, Your Honour. Judge - Seems to be. Mr. Deveraux, did you know that shoplifting by teenagers here in Salem was up 14% this year. Never mind, you don't have to answer. My point is while you may not have been involved in any of the recent crime sprees I'm beginning to think an example needs to be set; a message to teens city-wide. Aiden - Your Honour, under certain circumstances I'd say your inclination to set an example might have some merit but this deal was struck some time ago with the District Attorney. You yourself have approved it so I can't see how breaking one's word would set a good example, can you? Judge - I'll admit Mr. Deveraux appears to have abided by the terms but a couple of months of good behaviour, at least not getting caught, hardly is much of an achievement. Stand up young man. What do you have to say for yourself?

Segment 6: Will and Sonny are in bed basking in the afterglow. Sonny was thinking that this is the best day of his life. Actually it's his 2nd best day. Not that I don't love you and that you're not the most important person in my life 'cause the best day of my life was when Ari was born. Holding her in my arms, watching her come to life; there will never be anything like that. Will - Just think, once we're married you will be her Step-Dad. Sonny - We'll officially be a family. Did you tell Gabi about this? Will - No. Sonny - How do you think she's going to react? Will - She'll be fine with it. She has to be. You guys have worked everything out, right? Sonny - Yeah and nothing's really going to change for her. She'll still live here, still have Ari. Will - We'll all have Ari. Sonny - Right. Will - What's wrong? Sonny - I just have to ask. Are you sure this isn't just you know, getting carried away on Valentine's Day? Will - Absolutely not. I have been thinking about this since the day you asked. Marrying you is right. In fact, you know what, let's get married today.

Vic - No problem. You have what you like, you've earned it. Vic watches as he gulps down a glass of liquor. Brady - Why are you looking at me like that? Vic - That's your drink for today. Brady - Sorry? Vic - If it's not problem then that's it. You've had your drink for the day. Brady laughs. I don't believe this. You don't trust me still. Vic - Should I? It's 10:30 in the morning. You just threw down 3 ounces of 80 proof. Brady - I don't need this. I don't believe you. He gathers his stuff - work's done. Vic - Oh no, we still have work to do. Brady leaves.

Eric - Re-evaluate? Is that what you're doing? Do you want us to kind of ... Nicole - No. It's just ... I love you, you know that I do but if the evidence appears ... just don't rush it. That's all I'm saying. Eric - This isn't a rush decision. I sat in that monastery and I decided, I debated and I started all over again. This right here, this is real. This is what I feel. Nicole - Now you know the name of the man who made the poison that Kristen used. Eric - What does that mean? It means nothing without evidence. Where is the evidence? Nicole clutches her bag. It's gone and Dr. Chyka is in Morocco now. It's likely we'll never see him again. So unless I can find something that will change that I need to start moving on with my life. Nicole - Maybe just wait a little. Eric - No because I have caused way too much pain for you and the Church. You've given up and sacrificed so much for way too long. You're never selfish; you're always thinking of only me.

JJ - Your Honour, I have made a lot of mistakes since I came home from England and I kind of understand where you're coming from when you think that I'm getting off easy. But see, I know something in here (he places his hand over his heart) and I've learned my lesson. My life has taken this total 180 degree turn and I'm not bragging. I made it because of my Mom, my sister, my whole family, they never gave up on me. They probably should have but they didn't. If I could get the chance I'm going to try somehow to pay them back by not screwing up and by making sure that something like this will never happen again. I love them. I love everyone of them. They're really what's important and if you'd give me the chance ... Judge - Alright, that's enough speechifying. Remain standing. I'm ready to pass sentence.

Segment 7: Sonny - slow down, this is marriage. We've got to do it right. Family, friends, fantastic ceremony. Will - I know. I was mostly joking but no long engagement. Sonny - Like your mom and EJ? Will - Not even half that long. Sonny - Do you think that they're going to be supportive, your family? Will - Yeah, I do. What about yours? Sonny - Well my Dad will be, my brothers will be, my mom, not so much. We're going to need to start drawing up the guest list because we're going to want both sides of our family there ... they both say - except for Nick. Will - I hate that guy. Well there is a lot that we need to start doing. Sonny - There is but for now it can wait. They kiss.

Brady is at the club drinking. Terry asks if he wants another. Brady - No, I'm good. He pays and leaves.

Eric is going to see Fr. Matt now. I'll call you. Nicole - Wait, you're not going to change your mind? Eric, I mean it, in your heart, deep in your heart, no matter what comes up about Kristen, you don't want to be a priest ever? Eric - There it is again; caring only about me and my life. Nicole - I'm your friend. Eric - I hope we can be much more than that soon; much, much more than that. I'll call. He leaves. Nicole sits down and pulls out the evidence. Okay, now I definitely need a sign. Is what I'm doing wrong, or is it right?

Judge - I am wary of giving you a second chance Mr. Deveraux. Seems to be you had a whole slew of second chances and you've blown everyone of them however you have obviously tried to change and you do seem sincere. Therefore the original plea agreement stands. You're sentenced to one year probation, one hundred hours of community service. We're done. Smiles and excitement all around. Jen thanks Aiden. Jen and JJ hug. I'm so happy for you and what you said about us, our family ... JJ - I meant every word. In the corridor Aiden calls Justin to let him know JJ got the deal. All is well. Hope comes dashing around the corner and runs right into Aiden. Aiden - Glad to see that you didn't have a smoothie in your hand. Hope - How many times do I have to say I'm sorry. Maggie comes out and sees Hope and tells her that JJ's deal went through. Hope - That's fantastic. Maggie - I see you've met Aiden Jennings. He was JJ's lawyer you know. Hope - No, I didn't know. Maggie - Well things were looking pretty rough in there and Aiden saved the day. Abe tells Jen to call if she needs anything. Jen hugs him and thanks him for everything. Abe tells JJ - Your Dad is up there smiling. Abby - JJ, it's over. You can smile too you know. JJ is recalling Theresa saying they're both going to get what they want. Abby - What's wrong?

Dan answers his door. It's Theresa. I'm really glad you're home. I've got a lot of stuff ... Dan - This is not a good time. I've got a lot of work to do ... Theresa - All this stuff that's been happening you know to me ... I need to clear up things. Dan - As I was trying to say this isn't a good time. Theresa - I don't need the condescending tone and we're going to do this now Daniel! He slams the door closed.

*Hope & Aiden run into each other again*
Hope: Oh geeze.
Aiden: Well, glad to see you didn't have a smoothie in your hand.
Hope: How many times do I have to say I'm sorry?
Aiden: Well, maybe a... few more.

DEAD!! Aiden's snark is priceless. I could've lived without Maggie's interruption.

Seriously writers is the world really going to crack open if we write Nicole happy without some looming disaster.

Consider my sandwich thrown.

And whoever it is who goes away in June so that January is usually pretty good.... can you stay away.

Keep Aiden the hell away from the boring shrew known as Jennifer. He does not deserve that fate. :scared:

I'm loving Haiden!

I really like GW's Will. He actually has chemistry with FS. :)

I'm so bummed about the Ericole situation. I wish Nicole would just tell him. I don't get why she practically sacrificed both her and St. Daniel's lives to get the truth - she's been totally obsessed with finding that proof - and now she's holding it back. It would have made more sense to me if Eric had said something along the lines of "Well, it was close, but since the church probably won't take me back I pick you." But he didn't. He chose her over the priesthood. I don't get her actions, and I don't like them.

I think Ericole have plenty of problems already - his family's reaction to her and this situation among them - to drive their story. They didn't need to have Nicole holding back something that has been so super important to both him and her for these last few months.

I'm not liking that Nicole is staying silent about having the evidence that could clear Eric. Nicole looking up and asking God if she's doing the right thing is not cutting it for me. Stay silent and in the end you'll have to pay the piper for that choice because it's going to look like you didn't say anything just so Eric wouldn't have the option to return to the Church as a priest.

Brady is a world-class moron ... they should make an Olympic sport out of that - he'd be a shoo-in for the gold medal!

LOL @ your Brady comment! As for Nicole.. Here's what I don't get, and maybe I don't pay close enough attention, but, why is she pushing him to reconsider his decision and not to rush things with it and suggesting he might regret his decision? Why not just give him the evidence so he can make up his mind for sure, which seems to be what she wants him to do anyway? I'm not getting it.
Guilt. It's clear the guilt is getting to her & is scared. Scared to give him the evidence & wants affirmation that he wants her and won't renig if she does show him the evidence. And all for dramatic affect/effect, whichever spelling is correct. -_-

I don't think you can fairly compare Hope/Aiden and Jen/Aiden. Hope & Aiden have been doing nothing but disagreeing about how to handle the situation of their kids not getting along. In contrast, Aiden was helping Jen out with JJ's case, and thus being professional and courteous.

For the sake of Nicole's own growth and character development, I hope she lets the evidence be found, even if that involves sneaking it back onto the boat so the police can obtain it lawfully. Right now, she's wrestling with temptation and losing, but it's not too late for her to change her mind. Until the day she destroys or buries the evidence, there's still a chance that she can avoid shooting herself in the foot and sabotaging her own happiness. But since TomSell apparently prefer to write all the show's women as desperate for a man, it's probably prudent to brace oneself for the worst.

GW is a change from CM in that he doesn't play Will as a bundle of quivering insecurity with respect to his relationships. CM's Will was that way with Gabi and Sonny for a good part of their early relationship, enough to fall for Nick's manipulations and to nearly sink things with Sonny over Sonny's friendship with Brent. CM could play Will as confident, he did that a lot during Dark! Will, but he was good at making Will just about to fall apart.

When Guy's Will turned down Sonny's proposal a couple of weeks ago, I think Chandler would have played it as more insecure than Guy did. On the other hand, all the insecurity was getting old and Sonny had proved himself over and over again. So, Will has grown up and matured in fatherhood and now accepts Sonny's devotion without constantly questioning it.

I doubt it will happen, but I'd be very happy if Guy was allowed to explore a little bit of Dark! Will. But what I think is coming is going to be shattered and grieving Will, given all the anvils of doom that have been dropping around Gabi.

If it was dramatic effect they were or are aiming for, they failed. It just makes Nicole look shallow, and makes me think that her love for Eric was not that deep. They had him saying to her more than once, that since there is no evidence people are going to continue believing the bad things about him (not his exact words, but close) and all she kept doing was flashing back to when she found the evidence, as if we did not all sit through it the first time. We really don't need constant reminders. We already felt deep disappointment when she did not reveal the information the first time. Why keep rubbing it in. It made her look terrible for keeping quiet.

They have her doing this to the man she supposedly loves, and giving us no explanation for her sudden 180. She put herself in danger to get the evidence so that she can clear him, and we had that whole spiel about her not wanting to be second choice, and now she is lying not only to her partner in crime, but to Eric as well, about not finding anything to clear him, so that she can hang on to Eric? It makes no sense. They are showing her as being incredibly selfish now, when they haven't in a while. Most of her previous actions was to help Eric.

It would have been nice, if she was withholding the info. so that she can place it somewhere where the police could find it and take it in as evidence so that Kristen can pay, but, when she was left alone and talking to herself, nothing to that nature was mentioned or even hinted at. They took any joy we could have had out of the story by doing it this way. They killed it for me when they had Eric accusing Nicole of raping him. Now it is Nicole's turn to mess up. Seriously this kind of drama I can do without if they are suppose to be writing a love story.

Maybe it is not a love story. They both love each other but they are not really in love with each other. Eric's first love is the church, so he resigns from it to save it anymore embarrassment. Nicole is more in love with what she perceives as Eric's goodness more than the man himself, so that is why she can look him in the face and deny that she is holding on to crucial evidence that would clear him.

Maybe she is holding on to the documents for reasons unknown, but it is valentine's day, give the Eric and Nicole fans something, by having her give a valid reason as to why she is hanging on to the documents and not saying anything. A reason that is sound enough that some of us don't think that she is being completely selfish and heartless. The poor guy was publicly humiliated, this is not the time to hold on to the evidence, and it just seems silly her asking help from God when it is a no brainer. She said thank God when she found the evidence in the first place. I really don't like TomSell's writing. I can't watch Brady anymore and I use to love him.

Aiden can't JUST be in scenes with Hope. He has to interact with other characters on the show, just like everyone else. IMO, his scenes with Jen & JJ were important because they showed the audience a different side of Aiden (and also told us what he does for a living). We've also now got Hope, who thinks Aiden is a big jerk, and Jen, who thinks Aiden's an amazing lawyer for stepping in for Justin and helping with JJ's case.
I don't think Jen's interested in Aiden. She's just grateful for his assistance and the fact that he understood where she was coming from with respect to her nerves and why she was questioning things.

btw, I sent you a PM.

:hail: :cheer: :applause: Great post and this is coming from a long time Hope ultimate fan girl well said

I think it's actually pretty good writing there. Jennifer and Hope have always been close, and the writers found a way to dovetail the JJ plot into Hope's potential new love interest. And yes, Aiden has been a jerk to Hope, so now we see he's a good lawyer who reassured Jennifer and was both personable and professional. So, we the audience has seen Aiden be a good guy, a good guy who by doing his job helped JJ.

I don't think they are setting up Jennifer to be attracted to Aiden. They are setting her up to be the person that tells Hope to give him a chance.
