These are excellent numbers for Days. Going up in the target demos despite all the other soaps showing decreases is quite a big deal.

Good for Days!

I figured they'd get big numbers on Wednesday with the Tuesday cliffhanger of whether Sami would catch EJabby in the shower. They've been doing more of those mini-cliffhangers lately - it's smart.

ETA: I'm kinda amazed that the last time the show was this high was in February 2011 because between Scarfmance and R2, I thought the show was horrible back then.

♥ Lumi is Light, Lumi is Love ♥

Days even managed to increase in total viewers (even a little bit) while the other three soaps lost viewers last week...that is pretty good. Wednesday was the day I was home due to snow in my area.....I bet that is the reason why it managed to be the highest day for all soaps too.

Tom Feb 2011 was the huge snowfall, likely the only one that year and it managed to make a dent. I remember we were all talking about how awful the show was with Rafe2 and scarfmance and then the ratings came in and we were all scratching our heads, lol.

Oh ok, that makes sense. I feel better that Scarfmance/R2 are no longer the last high water mark, LOL.

Killing myself slowly

Well can't blame this week on the weather...the other shows dropped while DAYS saw gains in every sector of viewership.

Go EJABBY! ;)

Go Days and go EJabby! They are the most buzzed about story and I'm sure that hot shower promo and with Sami almost catching them definitely made it must see. All the other soaps decreased and Days not only increased but had more 18-49 viewers than GH. :cheer:

So Y&R didn't collapse with MM getting the boot?

Go Days! But, certainly Ejabby isn't the only story that fans are interested in.

I don't see what else it could be. Those Ericole/ChakaKhan scenes were straight up awful, IMO.

Well, the ratings went up on Wednesday which is not surprising with the Tuesday cliffhanger of Sami maybe walking in on Ejabby in the shower (and apparently the weather too). But what is unusual for Days is that STAYED up on Thursday and Friday. There was nothing to Ejami/Ejabby related those days.

Exactly. It's just a huge assumption to say that everything's due to Ejabby. For me, they're hardly the reason. I'm sure that Wilson, Ericole, etc. are impacting the ratings too.

Some person or people make the ratings about a certain couple (good or bad) every single week. And it's really never the case unless something huge happens. I think only good umbrella stories really pop the whole week of ratings. Overall good stories can gradually increase the ratings and that is pretty much what we have been seeing.
