I'd love to see DAYS in second place in the key demo one day, the gap with the other soaps is getting smaller and smaller, it seems achievable.

Thursday was another big snow day on the east coast. Everything was shut down here in the Washington, D.C. area. Still, it's nice to see those numbers, whatever the reason.

Whatever the reason Days is up. Im happy because they finally quit with their crap and are finally giving me something to root for. I love where Days is going with its characters.

This is good. They had the weather working for them and the Olympics working against them. That big Thursday was clearly weather aided, but the whole week is nice.

I'm really happy to see Days showing such strength in the target demos.

Does anyone else find it weird that the CBS soaps have such an increase in total viewers but are looking poorly in their target demos?

I'm not really surprised. If I'm not mistaken, CBS has always been known as the "Old Folks Network", lol.

However, it looks like only 'Days' and B&B got better numbers on Thursday, but not GH or Y&R. So it's not necessary only weather-related.

Yes the ratings dropped for YnR. They will pick up soon though. Some of the viewers that say they are not watching are watching because they know too much about the show not to have been watching. The viewers will start returning one by one. When MM is replaced they will start watching again just because they want to see who the replacement is and how they perform. It will happen.

They need to continue with EJABBY to draw viewers in that demo. That demo doesn't want to see old EJAMI.

Yeah, that could be interesting.

I just hope they hire an actor that looks at least 5 to 10 years younger than Joshua Morrow since Adam was born yeeeeeeeeeears after Nick was.

I had to laugh when I ready this. In the early 70s, my grandmother was watching CBS soaps, my mom was watching NBC and my friends were watching ABC. I kept flipping between NBC and ABC.
