I vaguely remember Will being disgusted at EJ's porn habit.

Lysie, I'm so glad you posted that pic! I've had an Ejill rant in my brain forever so why not now? Lol. (And I've had 2 glasses of good wine so bare with me)... I've often wondered if MarDar were going to go an Ejill route but that was one of the stories "NBC wouldn't let 'them' tell". There were a few months of Chandler and James playing off each other in a very interesting way. Scripted, intended, plain old chemistry..whatever, there was a spark of sorts that I found cool. Here's why I would've been down with that story (and I'm going by Chandlers chemistry with James Scott)...If I were Will Horton, I'd be enthralled with EJ Dimera. Like it wouldn't even matter if I hated the man, as a gay teen boy, I'd still be down with EJ lol. I wish so badly the writers had kept that dynamic and instead of Abby and EJ right now, it would be Will and EJ having this odd affair. Imagine that dynamic right as Will is engaged to Sonny. Sami is his MOM! It would be a huger fallout than what we have but oh well. Guy Wilson has brought a new version of Will to the table ( and it actually works thank God), so the chemistry isn't the same but the story wouldn't make sense now anyway. But there was a moment in time where I thought "OMG are they going there?!?!" And I would've been fine with it. ;).

I am so glad they didn't cross that boundary. Any combination of a parent child having sex with the same person is ick nasty! It's really hard for me to root for a couple when one of them had sex with the other's parent.

Having said that, Will being enthralled, infatuated with, or attracted to a sexy and powerful older man makes a whole lot of sense. At the time, Will was at the latter stage of his adolescence (with all its challenges and confusion), was struggling to understand his own sexuality, and was confused and feeling betrayed by his mom. While all of those emotions were playing with him, he entangles with EJ -- an amoral and ruthless asshole, who feels that this little kid is a threat to him. He recognizes that Will was struggling with his sexual orientation, so, he used subtle sexuality and flirts with him to control him or make him feel uncomfortable and discombobulated (I think Chandler played the very well). At the same time Will was confiding in Marlena and Sonny who provided moral grounding and support. This helped him to come to terms with his sexual orientation but also prevented him from crossing that boundary.

For me, that worked very well. There was a realistic and subtle sexual energy without an icky factor.

I hate Will/EJ. I think a sexual thing would have been better than what they have now, though. I'll never understand why they insist on having him be a okay with ejami's relationship. That automatically sucks half the drama out of the story. Meanwhile, I can't even wrap my mind around EJ being a little WilSon fangirl. Under MarDar I thought the idea of EJ providing anyone, let alone Will, with tutelage on how to be bad was ridiculous. Ultimately, I think EJ and Will have one of the most inconsistent dynamics on the show and the fact that's it's led to one of the most dramaless, dull dynamics between a future stepfather/stepson ever (though if Dannifer ever get engaged, Abby and JJ will give them a run for their money in dull family dynamics) is a shame to both characters.

I am looking forward to finding out the pregnancy test results today. I don't think Abby is pregnant because of how much speculating about the possible pregnancy there was in the show before finding out the results, but I wouldn't mind to be wrong at all. ;) Regardless I am looking forward to EJ and Abby's reaction to the news and to what is coming next in this storyline. :)

I'll never forgive MarDar for taking Will's hate for Ej away...hoping that after the Ejabby reveal that Hate is back on full force and never goes away. Will should have NEVER been okay with Sami and Ej getting married, EVER, I just don't get it. Here is the guy that broke up his parents and their family...but somehow he's now become a champion for all things EJ? Please....stupid.

Pretty much, the Wills that have followed haven't lived up imo, and this really might be more because of writing than acting.

There are a LOT of things I will never forgive MarDar for....they are single handidly the worst headwriters this show has EVER had.

Yes, we find out what the results are for today, but I'm betting they aren't correct with all the drug interaction anvil talk.

I loved Ejill when they were blackmailing each other. And I get why they get along now but the dynamic was never as good as it was when they were working/blackmailing together.
