I really enjoyed today's episode! And go figure, not a Dannifer in sight!

The Nick stuff was really good. I ADORED the Nick/Maggie interaction. It just goes to show that, like Jennifer, Maggie can be enjoyable when she's interacting with characters she's supposed to be interacting with instead of obsessing over her new-found family (cough, cough... Daniel).

Also loved the Nick/Abigail interaction at the end. Kate Mansi played Abigail's reaction perfectly to hearing Nick refer to her as "EJ DiMera's little whore".

EJ and Sami are both ridiculous. Seriously? A custody agreement is enough to make them want to kill Nick? I get that EJ is trying to cover his backside because of the EJabby photos, but Sami's motivation here is not making any sense. Also, can we start a drinking game for every time somebody says "custody agreement" this week?

The Kate/Jordan scenes were okay, but DAMN I'm glad Ben is being recast. Can the dude show any emotion at all?

Hope/Aiden/Ciara was adorable today as well. I'm starting to warm up to Aiden, slowly.

Now you know it about more than just a "custody agreement." Nick is essentially threatening to send them all up the river for their various crimes. He's threatening their loved ones and blackmailing them. Would you want to live under the tyranny of a man who is clearly starting to become completely unhinged emotionally?

I'm not saying murder is justified, but Nick is giving everyone PLENTY of reasons to want him dead.
I mean, they did dump him in a river and a bunch of other people (EJ, Will, Sonny) helped keep it a secret. He kinda has the right to make them all squirm.

I don't think there are any victims in this story whatsoever, but I'm definitely Team Nick on this one.

I also forgot to mention how much I loved Nick's rant to Maggie about the other "perfect" young Hortons - Will, Abigail, and JJ. It's nice when these characters remember that they're all related, something that was lacking and really bugged me about this story around this time last year.

So, the rape thing is just nothing? Wow.
When did I ever say that? Never.

I'm not defending what he did to Gabi and I never said that I didn't think what happened to him was unjustified. But I will not, for one second, look at Sami, Kate, EJ, Will, and Sonny as victims in all of this. That's just laughable.

And yeah, I still do think that Sami is pretty much just mad about the custody agreement, because killing Nick certainly wasn't an issue since the last time they, well, "killed" Nick.

Lauren K just rules. Consistently great performer.

She should get an Emmy.
I feel like Lauren Koslow is so underrated. The woman is the perfect combination of humorous and bitchy. As of right now, she's probably my favorite female character on the show. She even brings life to Rafe and Jordan! She deserves an Emmy nom just for that.
