LOL. So there is the big "spike" from the Ejami "reveal".... I mean, it's barely up from the next day.

And of course, by Wed and Thu, it was already all Fetch everywhere. And of course, this was the only show to be down in totals from last year. And young women tie low? Isn't that like the worst thing that could happen considering they're the advertising demo everyone wants. Can't really say anything good about these numbers, or see them going anywhere but down from here. Gah, will the Nick murder really be interesting enough? Don't think so tbh...

Wow..Days lost 143,000 viewers from last year while the others all gained viewers..that speaks volumes to me.

Liam and Hope & Bill and Brooke caused me to turn my TV. I hate both pairings. One is incredibly boring. The other sickening.

As for Days, it's been incredibly boring for the past 2.5 months. As much as I like EJami, I found EJabby scandalous and Soapy goodness, so I wasn't sitting around waiting for the drama of Sami finding out about the affair and confronting EJ. The drama was in the affair itself. If not for the hilarious comments in the Live thread, I wouldn't have watched the episode. The tweets from AS, the SOD article, nor the weekly preview/spoilers sparked my interest in actually watching the episode.

Well Dannifer were on a lot last year when ratings were good so it's not just them. However seeing Chloe, Nicole, Theresa, JJ, Anne, Liam, etc trying break them up is tiresome and just ridiculous at this point.
The writing overall is just bland.
I could see a bump for the Nick shooting this week, but didn't Days have great ratings for May sweeps last year for Will shooting, Gabi giving birth, and Bristen stuff. Curious to see the year to year comparisons for the next few weeks.

This is what Days gets for saying a big Fuck You to fans and not doing a REAL reveal and dedicating a whole show to one couple LMAO.

None of the soaps have really anything great going right now. Y&R is snoozefest, B&B stands for Brooke & Bill RME, GH is just ooook and Days is pathetic.

Ironically the day of the "reveal" got the highest ratings.

This is what happens when viewers stop getting invested in storylines, couples and characters. What's the point? Days destroys every storyline, every couple and every character viewers get invested in. There is no joy, no focus on families or true love. They do the Einstein's definition of insanity - "the same thing over and over again and expecting different results".

Monday is always the highest. ;)
And funny you should Mention the Einstein theory because that's what the writers have been doing with both Dannifer and Ejami for years now.

ITA...and the WTFery of a fake reveal killed Monday's ratings. I read the east coast pbp and took it off my dvr & didn't watch it once I found out it was a fake. I caught portions of it on YT so the idiot show runners wouldn't get any credit for putting out that kind of effort & pr into something that didn't even move the story forward. There were tons of others on twitter that did the same. It' so sad and it makes AS & JS look like geniuses for jumping ship before it gets any worse.

Except that they liked it and promoted it...

This was the beginning of sweeps, so it definitely isn't good, but there wasn't much promotion for the main story of the week. I'll be interested to see how the next two weeks are. Maybe, just maybe, that low in the demographics will help us get a new writer.

Be careful what you wish for lol. The ones we have now are once that were fired already. With our luck they'll rehire Dena.
