So I watched the whole episode. I have some major issues with the story as a whole, but I tried to pretend I didn't.
First of all, Lucas and Sami looked like absolute idiots with Allie. And absolute ugh to Lucas then leaving her at the pub. Those nightmares you keep saying she's going to have? THEY'RE GOING TO HAPPEN WHILE SHE'S ASLEEP SO DON'T LEAVE HER AT THE PUB WITH AN OLD CRAZY LADY. But my goodness. The Rose twins have stepped.it.up. Johnny who? They or she or whoever did really, really well.
Sami and EJ couldn't look more guilty if they were wearing Kill Nick Fallon t-shirts. I can barely even comprehend the idiocy of them going to the hospital. And apparently the kids woke up because on Friday's episode they were asleep, and then today they needed to hear more stories.
It is flat out amazing how much more likable Maggie is with the Hortons than she is with Daniel and Brady. Put her with her actual family, and that's Aunt Maggie, and that's who I loved.
Sonny, Arianna is still too young for that cow's milk you went out to buy her. Give it 8 days.
I thought SSH was really good, especially in the square when she was "protecting" Nick from everyone. I wish they'd bring in some more of her specific family, so that the relationship doesn't seem so contrived.
I wonder if Hope being family is going to end up causing an issue.
I'm on the fence about Kate. Ultimately, it was perfectly in character, and I didn't think it was as much of a caricature as the stuff at the river did. The part where she told Maggie was great. I wish she hadn't gone to the hospital, though.
I liked how KM played Abby's reactions, and I like the complexity they added to that. Actually, with the way they did her flashbacks, I'd have believed they were setting her up to be more of a suspect, but I don't think that will be the case.
The end was set up well, but I didn't like how Julie listed Will and Lucas as Will Horton and Lucas Horton. It just sounded weird. I also wish they'd have had her be a little more hesitant about listing all the family members. Also, she forgot Allie, lol.
In case anyone was keeping up, currently Allie, Ciara, Arianna, and presumably Joey are all at the pub.
So, an old lady who lives above the pub and is dealing with a full blown Alzheimers is taking care of a baby and three other 3rd graders. The Bradys are abusing poor Caroline. Someone should call an elder abuse hotline. Ugh... I just hated what a shitty parents both Lucas and Sami are. What was the point of going to the hospital when their little girl was so traumatised? At least Lucas was raised by Kate so he doesn't know any better but Sami should know better. About Julie saying Will and Lucas' full names and not Abigail, it just highlights the way the Hortons feel about Lucas and his kids. I don't think it had anything to do with Lucas and his kids, I just think that the show wanted to highlight how some of the suspects are HORTONS.....that is why the emphasis on their names....saying Abby's name wouldn't have hit home...as she's a Devereaux.....so I can see why Julie went out of her way to actually do that with Lucas and Will.....this reminds me so much of when Jen thought that Lucas was the SSK back in 03/04.

Oh! One other thing. EJ is such a douchebag. I'd expect him to lie about his phone conversation, because duh. But to turn it on Sami like that? I'm starting to have doubts, but for the most part I'm not expecting a big break up when the Abby things comes out; however, the way he's been treating Sami since January has been pretty horrid, and it will be disappointing if Sami doesn't ever connect those dots and get to punch him repeatedly in the face for it. If she wanted to be with someone who was annoyed at having to clean up her messes, she could have stayed with Rafe.

That was exactly my thought too LL - highlighting Hortons turning on each other, the same way the show highlighted other Hortons feeling the blame of not fully supporting each other. I didn't think it had anything to do with how Lucas and his kids are regarded.

I think the Ejabby reveal won't happen until AFTER they are married...it seems that Kate is headed back to DImansion, what if SHE finds the Ejabby pics and tells Sami and they both plot to take over the empire?

After today's show, I do think that Allie will be staying behind with Lucas and crazy GrandMa Kate after Ejami leaves. I do too....I think Sami will realize that she truly isn't the type of person to 'embrace her dark side' and be fine with it, especially if that dark side brings consequences to her small children. In this case, I love that Allie is being featured because I've always felt that Lucas grounds Sami and it's fitting that Lucas' daughter would be the one they would use to drive the point home to Sami....

Couldn't Sami have gone and sat with Allie until she fell asleep? Her and EJ didn't need to be at the hospital.
To be fair, neither did Lucas, but I am glad he at least stayed with her until she did fall asleep.
Lucas did came back to pub after he heard about Nick we saw outside of the pub taking phone calls I think I think most nightmares comes in middle sleep nit when you immediately fall asleep oh when the Julie montage happened? We'll see if there is follow-up with Allie - there better be!!!! The show made it a real point to illustrate how affected she was so there better be follow up! I would love if that occasioned more screen-time between Allie and Lucas.

If this storyline doesn't, at some point, involve Julie learning that her precious Nick was, among other things, a homophobe, an extortionist, and an attempted rapist, I'm going to be really annoyed.
I want EVERYONE exposed! EJ and Abby's affair! Sami, Kate, and Gabi hiding the fact they "killed" Nick last fall. Will shooting EJ. Sonny helping cover up all of their crimes. Sami and EJ hiring a hitman. That's all I've wanted from the beginning. If one bad apple has to fall, all of the bad apples need to come tumbling down. There are no innocent parties in this, and I mean the adults, not baby Ari. :applause: Yes!

I have no problem with all of those things being exposed, mainly because I'm sick of seeing Will get blackmailed for shooting E.J. when he was a kid -- something that no jury would ever convict him of at this point, regardless of what Nick might have believed. But, while I can agree with your "there are no innocent parties in this" statement on a purely surface-level basis, I have to disagree in the context of the original storyline involving Nick. Will was absolutely an innocent party in the beginning. Nick targeted Will simply because Will was gay and had dared to decide to raise a daughter as a gay man instead of handing that daughter over to Nick so that Nick could have a ready-made family to complete the white-picket-fence fantasy. E.J.'s shooting was none of Nick's business, but he made it his business because he needed a way to further his own agenda. Will never did anything to Nick to warrant the inexcusable behavior that Nick displayed toward Will, and Will was still a good enough person to put himself in danger and take a bullet while trying to save his miserable excuse for a cousin's life. And Nick's choices were made as an adult, not as a minor. Abigail never did anything to Nick, either. This mistake so many people are cheering for her being called on? It was a big mistake, but one that wasn't on par with Nick's homphobic blackmailing (the first round, the one that Will and Sonny forgave him for) and Nick called her a whore to her face. Abigail was only concerned for Nick when he was missing and was a caring person toward him. Meanwhile, Nick absorbed forgiveness from Gabi, Will, Sonny and their families only to turn around and use all he knew against them.
I 100% agree that I want Will's shooting of EJ to come forward as it's been used too many times against Will. And the only reason Will hasn't come forward with the fact he shot EJ is to protect Lucas and Hope. He's tried to confess multiple times, only to be convinced not to for their sakes. Sonny & Will may have been wrong not to snitch on the Coven, but they didn't want to see Ari's mother, grandmother and great-grandmother sent to jail. It would have been in their best interest to do so from a legal perspective. If that had come forward, I'm sure we'd hear about how evil they were and how they only wanted to get Gabi out of the way so they could raise Ari. They didn't do that.
Since his return, Nick has never done one thing that wasn't in his best interest, and often he was outright enjoying hurting people. As much as I enjoy SSH's performance, I find Julie's obsession with Nick weird. Yes, she has acknowledged his wrong doing, but her crazy-eyes insistence that Gabi was his true love and that she loved him could almost be read as a parody of soap couple cheer leading. It's strange to say it, but CB's acting has become good enough that her expressions read fear and confusion when Julie talks them up. The Julie Williams I know as a character is good enough at reading people so that she would have noticed. Don't get me wrong, I love that she's been given a prominent role and I'm on board with the idea that Nick must have advocates (ones that don't know of his raping, manipulating and blackmailing ways). It's just that Julie is smart and sensitive, and it seems she's got serious blinders on here.

Great episode. But instead of me being glad that Nick is dead, it just made me hate all of the other characters. I guess it's the good acting of BB and Julie. I felt her pain and just was annoyed with EJ, Sami, Will , Sonny, Kate... They are far from perfect and most of them have done worse than Nick ... I hope Hope gives them hell!

Couldn't Sami have gone and sat with Allie until she fell asleep? Her and EJ didn't need to be at the hospital.
She had to make sure Nick was good and dead. Yeah, from EJami's perspective of self preservation, they did 'need' to be at the hospital to see if Nick was going to live or if he regained consciousness enough to talk before he died. EJ would want to know ASAP if there was some police bulletin out that described his hit man.
Sami didn't seem to want to go there, but EJ being there without her would really have looked weird. So EJ said they should be there to support Will and Gabi. What that really meant was EJ wanted to be there to ensure that those two less morally challenged members of their group didn't break down and say something incriminating about any aspect of the Nick situation.

Hope?? When did she find out about Will shooting EJ? I don't know if Hope has acknowledged it onscreen, but Will certainly believes that Hope could get in trouble for not further investigating and finding out that he and not Lucas was the shooter. He wanted to confess at one point (when CM was still in the role) and was talked out of it because it would possibly ruin Hope's career and cause Lucas legal trouble. I don't remember if Will thinks Roman was involved. [Edited to make it clear that the danger to Hope was floated by Nick and was not something that was shown as reality on screen.]

I don't remember if Will thinks Roman was involved. Will did not believe that Hope was part of a cover-up, but Nick made the statement that if it was found out what Will had done that they (Hope and Roman) would lose their jobs for not investigating further and believed to be part of a cover-up.
