Really - we needed a flashback for the photographs.

Were there really three viewers out there who didn't know what Sami was talking about.

I know everyone mentioned the good performances from SSH, KA and CB but I want to add FS to the list. I really like how all of Sonny's feelings show through his eyes. He might've showed emotional detachment, but I like his emotional understatement, which displayed the weight of his realization that Will might be the shooter. I always like the way Freddie shows Sonny's love for Will with innocence and earnestness which he so endearingly displays in an incredibly moving and subtle way. You can tell by just the way he looks at Will how he feels about him. It's trully in his eyes. And today, his eyes showed weariness and incredible sadness. He accepted that Will killed Nick but he doesn't want to put it into words.

I know soaps are all about OTT emotions and campiness and that's a lot of fun and sometimes subtle performers get lost in that, but I like subtlety and that's why I loved KA's performance much more than SSH.
That makes sense. And actually, it shows a balance, just like in real life. One will go hysterical, and one will have quiet grief. Their sisterly/mother-daughter connection (I can't decide how to describe it!!) was wonderful, once Julie was calmed down.

God i wish they'd give Rafe and Jordan a decent storyline - they are quite likable.

Cried like a baby. They all seem so shallow, just trying to cover their own asses. The only ones that seemed to have a little compassion left were Hope,Julie, Maggie and Gabi. Except Rafe's concern for his sister, the rest just seemed worried about themselves. I hope Nick comes back to haunt them all from the grave and have all their dirty secrets exposed.

I agree except about Gabi. Miss thing is covering her ass with her crocodile tears. I am not buying her little act. OK I will concede she is feeling guilty, but she is also relieved that she is free from Nick's control.

Why is Gabi implicating WilSon and Abby? That's odd!

Because she is a sneaky little bitch. Look at her crying her eyes out when she is probably the one who killed Nick. At least Kate does not pretend to care. She has no fuck to give and she owns it.

I bet no one will suspect Gabi, no one. They will feel sorry for her and comfort her LOL.

I'm sorry but I have to agree with the poster from the other day Will's blue steel looks are distracting.

I wish he was a bit more emotional I think that would work better with Sonny.

At this point I would believe he is an automaton that Stefano has created.

I like the hierarchy at the end with Samantha, then EJ then Stefano's portrait all lined up over each other's shoulders.

Not that I think the writers have the cohunas to convincingly take Samantha down that path but if she was on a spiral into Dimera ness it would have been really good.

Gabi was really good with her tears and such today, which is going to make it even bigger once the truth is finally revealed. I can imagine people who are spoiler-free being shocked about it being her.
 So now none of us are spoiler free.

I have liked that ability to be subtle from day one of his appearance on this show. It's why he's my favorite.

Although I don't always like what Sonny is doing as a character, I just really enjoy Freddie. I think he does very well in this medium regardless, but I don't necessarily think that's the type of acting that's going to get him many kudos anytime soon. It seems in the soap world you kind of have to "ask" for it (in the various forms that may take), and that has never seemed to me to be in his nature. He's just content to contribute as part of the ensemble if that's what's asked of him. He's quite an unassuming guy in many ways, but oddly has a pretty good screen presence as well.

I've been meaning to mention that I don't think Jordan and Ben are suspects. I think they're afraid that their secret will be exposed. Once the police investigation starts they might get scrutinized and that might lead to some of their secrets to come out or even some questions might be raised.

This episode was boring for me. I'm relieved Nick is finally gone. Not once did I even get teary eyed by the sadness of other characters. The only part I liked was the montage at the end.
I felt the same way. I also liked Kate refusing to pretend to be anything but glad Nick was gone. I probably would have been moved by Julie, Maggie, and Hope's intense grief over Nick if I had seen them show any level of compassion before now for others that Nick had harmed. It would have made their emotions seemed more even-handed as opposed to idolization of Nick. At least that's how it felt to me.
I'm sorry, but who besides Gabi did Nick harm during this run? I hardly call Nick blackmailing the people who tried to drown him and those covering it up as him harming them. Regarding Ari, if Will had a good lawyer, there would have been no way for Will to lose custody of his daughter. Thus making Nick's manipulation moot and pointless.
Did you miss the part when Nick threatened to not challenge the custody or he'll put everyone in jail? Or when he threatened Gabi to not change anything about the custody agreement?

No matter how many times you want to repeat it, it doesn't make it real. Will and Sonny didn't do anything to him, nor did Abigail and yet he went out of his way to threaten all of them.
Wouldn't them mentioning Nick trying to rape Gabi put him in jail? Either way, none of Nick's blackmail was enough reason to murder him.

I think Nick may have believed that Abby was in on the cover-up. She was going to talk to Hope and then stopped after she slept with EJ. For all we know, Nick could have bugged Wilson's apt, so he would have heard stuff regarding EJ going to talk to Abby.

Wilson keeping quiet about the "murder" of Nick makes them have some culpability in the coven's crime. I get that it already happened and they could have done nothing to prevent it, but they decided it was best to cover for Kami and Gabi. So I don't think that counts as them not doing anything to Nick. It is minor though and probably wouldn't have earned them a slap on the wrist with the SPD. Gabi helping Andrew after learning he kidnapped Melanie was worse.

I just don't get how Nick would have been able to put anyone in jail without incriminating himself, even with the pictures. No one but Ari is completely innocent here.

I'm not saying that Nick was right in blackmailing them, but I'm not letting the coven's activities get a pass, either.

The women didn't try to drown Nick. (But I realize that it's futile to try to argue this point with the people who believe otherwise. And you're certainly entitled to that opinion, even if the facts of the storyline don't exactly agree.)

How does the facts of the storyline not agree with what I said? Gabi hit Nick with a rock- he was unconscious- Sami said he was dead- they carried him to the river- he regained consciousness-they didn't try to help him up- he "drowned." Gabi was justified in hitting Nick. It was in self-defense. She could have called the police and everything would have been fine. Instead, Gabi listened to Kami and committed a CRIME! Nick couldn't have blackmailed anyone if they didn't give him something to use as blackmail. That is why I don't see Kami as victims of Nick. The only two people who were victimized by Nick ( during this run), in my opinion, are Gabi ( attempted rape) and Will (blackmailed out of custody of Ari before her birth).

Julie so hard on poor Abigail! Why does she think the little fight she witnessed disqualifies Abby from being sad about her cousin's death. Julie is so OTT with her accusations.
I'm not really understanding it either but I guess it's because of her grief.

It's so obvious Gabi did it from the way these scenes are playing out. CB is really doing a good job in her scenes.

EJ and Sami had no place in showing up at the hospital.
Gabi showed up late at the hospital and she didn't have the diaper bag when she showed up. And earlier she was clutching that diaper bag for dear life.
She stopped home on the way to the hospital to return the gun. Then she shows up at the hospital pretending to be devastated and playing the grieving GF. That girl is good. Everybody underestimates her including genius Nick.

Cant believe EJ acting like Julie was out of line for calling him and Sami out. I know they all hated Nick but he didnt have to rub it in to someone who loved him.

Its probably Gabi. They keep emphasizing too much that Nick loved her and she had the suspicious bag.

I don't get this blue steel look some talk about. To me, Will comes off intense and at times jittery without underlying insecurity. Today, he looked pissed at Sonny when they were at home and when he was at the hospital he looked unsure about what to do and kinda out of place, which IMO fit the situation.

Sami should be wth her daughter right now. How disappointing that she left her.
Sami won't be winning any mother of the year awards.
Neither will Lucas. He insisted on being the one to take Allie home. Then he dumped her at Caroline's who is not even all there and went back to the hospital. Shouldn't Lucas have taken Allie to his own home and stayed with her all night in case she has a nightmare and wakes up in the middle of the night. At least, Sami offered to take her home, but Lucas refused.

I was disappointed with both Sami and Lucas today.

I don't mind Guy, I think he's doing fine overall. But admittedly, I was kind of hoping that stiffness was still just kind of a leftover of being new, but now I don't think so. :-/

I've already gushed too much in my last post, but I just think Freddie does a lot with his eyes and when you pan over to Guy, his seem a tiny bit dead in contrast. I dunno, maybe he'll continue loosening up. I hope so.

That's how I feel. Freddy is so expressive with his eyes its an odd mismatch. He just seems dead to me.

I want to like him. I'm not hanging on to any Chandler was better stuff. He just seemed so closed.

It bothered me that Sami didn't try to turn Allie around or cover her eyes or anything. I was happy when Kate came over and distracted the poor girl. I hope Days gives us some continuity with Allie having nightmares, acting out, etc.

Lucas did not do it either. He was just standing there.

maybe the could get one if TPTB ever resolved this stupid "Jordan's secret" ridiculousness. I'm convinced that they have no idea what it actually is.
