Yes with a vengeance! He originally lost his memory after a post surgery stroke. He had been neurotic and jealous before that but not really mentally ill. The stroke came on while he was recovering from heart bypass surgery and an argument with his 'son ' Mike was whirling around in his head along with the dawning realization that his brother Bill was actually Mike's father. He had the voices echoing in his head and collapsed on his hospital bed. When he regained consciousness, he got dressed and walked out, wandering in a daze with no memory of who he was. He had a belt buckle with his initials, MH, on the front and when asked his name came up with Marty Hanson. He wandered to the boondocks and wound up on the Simmons farm run by the young, orphaned , wheelchair bound Maggie Simmons and took a job as a hand on the farm under the Marty name. He and Maggie eventually married and it was quite a long time before the Horton's learned he was alive. Julie saw a picture in the paper of a farmer at a county fair pig contest (I swear Im not making this up.)and finally convinced Tom to look into it. He found his son on the farm and Marty met the whole family but decided to continue on with his happy new life. Mike would visit the farm occasionally and on one visit was seriously hurt after a truck collapsed on him. He needed s blood transfusion and when Marty tried to donate, he realized that he couldn't be the boy's father. The shock brought his memory crashing back but he also experienced a psychotic break and shot Bill knowing he was Mike's Bio dad. Mickey was institutionalized and remained violent for some time, wanting to strangle his "exwife" Laura and any blonde woman who resembled her, including his former mistress and secretary, Linda Patterson Phillips. He . His recovery was very slow and we were introduced to a new character through this storyline, one of his doctors, beautiful young blonde psychiatrist Marlena Evans. Whew. I don't want WilSon anywhere near Ejami and Kate. They need to keep their criminal asses away from WilSon. They already caused them enough problems. But seriously, Will should just disown his mother and join the Kiriakis family. Victor is more ruthless and competent than EJ if they ever need to cover up anything or fight a blackmailer. |

So I'm the only one who thought that Paige's mother is Ann? Oh well, I just don't see how Eve could be living in Salem without everyone knowing it. Paige's father is gone so someone has to be raising her. |

I remember all that too. Didn't Linda live at the farm with Mickey and Maggie (along with Melissa). She was trying to convince Mickey for the second time that he was Melissa's father. |

The Brady House was always an "upstairs" from the Brady Fish Market. I'm assuming that, when they got the pub, they simply moved upstairs. Shawn & Caroline have lived above the pub for as long as I can remember. |

Please note: This report is not to be copied and pasted to any other sites. Please link only. Link to summary archive: http://www.network54.com/Forum/358635/ Director: Albert Alarr Scriptwriter: David Cherrill Segment 1: Dan is staring at the 3 pages of pieced together papers. He recalls asking Nicole about papers she destroyed and then brought home with her and her response was that they were papers that could help someone. He recalls an attempt by Nicole to tell him 'everything'. He mutters - Damn it, Nicole. Why! He gets a call from Nicole; he hits Ignore. Nicole is at the bar in the pub. Come on Daniel, pick up. I've got news. Everything's perfect. I'm going to be so happy. Marlena walks up behind her. Oh hello Nicole. Nicole discreetly covers her ring when she turns around to say hi. Marlena - What's going on? There's a knock on Dan's door. It's Jen. She goes into his arms weeping. JJ and Abby are at home in the living room. JJ - I never knew Nick very well even though he was our cousin. Frankly I didn't like him much although I know you did. You guys were pretty close. Abby snaps - We weren't close! Not any more. Now he's dead. Sami is on her cell freaking out. I am calm EJ, I'm totally calm. Johnny and Sydney are still upstairs. They're going to get some really bad news and they need their Daddy here to hear it. Lara told me you got up early and went to some meeting. Yes, no, I appreciate that business is business but have you forgotten that we murdered Nick Fallon last night! Yes done is done but I still feel guilty about it; I can't help it. I need you to come home EJ. She turns around and sees Eric standing in the doorway to the living room. Theresa rushes up to Anne who is at the coffee station. Anne - As I live and breathe our lady of lateness has graced us with her presence. Theresa - Yeah but Brady isn't here, is he? Anne - No he's probably hard at work dealing with the latest Horton family drama. I swear it's like they have their own cable network around here. I can't believe the hospital isn't already draped in black. Theresa - What are you talking about? Anne - Nick Fallon. Maggie is at home staring at a picture of Nick on her phone. Brady comes into the living and says her name. She hugs him. Dan - Nick's dead! I was in surgery. I got out early and came home. I had some issues to deal with so I haven't had a second to see the news this morning. What happened? Was he in an accident? Jen - No. He was murdered. Sami - Eric, what did you hear? Eric - What have you done Sami? Sami - I didn't mean to. I just ... I'm sorry. She runs over and throws her arms around him. Oh God. I feel so terrible. I feel so guilty. I'm going to hate myself for this forever. Segment 2: Nicole - Have you talked to Eric today? Marlena - No. You know what, I slept in this morning and I just came in for some coffee. Good that I ran into you though because I actually have a question for you. It's about what happened that night at Smith Island. Jen - And then they rushed him into surgery but it was too late. Dan - I'm sorry. Do they know who did it? Do they have anyone in custody? Jen - No. I spoke to Hope this morning. She's going to stay involved even though Nick was our cousin. But there's no clues, no lead; for all we know it could be someone from prison like that other man that wanted revenge. Dan - How are the kids holding up? Jen - JJ didn't know Nick very well but Abigail, it's like a nightmare for her. She was there in the square when Nick collapsed with a ton of other people. I need to get back in case she wants to talk about this. Dan - I can go with you. Maybe I'd just complicate things. If you need me you call me. Jen - I will. Dan - I'm sorry this happened. Is there anything I can do at all. Jen - No. I know Nick wasn't your favourite person. Dan - I barely knew the guy but after what he did to Melanie, I don't really care for him that much. Jen - Clearly you're not alone. Abby apologises to JJ for snapping at him. That was stupid. JJ - It's no problem; you didn't get much sleep last night. Abigail - No I didn't. JJ - I was kind of surprised that you were so angry. You were crying last night when you told us what happened. I always thought that you and Nick were really close. Abby - We weren't; not for a while. He turned out to be ... he just ... he wasn't who I thought he was. JJ - What happened? Abby recalls Nick taunting her and calling her EJ's whore. Nick said that he needed a lawyer. I thought that maybe he has some problems so I recommended Aiden Jennings. It turns out Nick wanted a lawyer to start a custody battle. He wanted Gabi to take Ari away from Will and Sonny. JJ - No way! Abby - He used me. JJ - That was low. So you pretty much hated him then all of a sudden you're standing there watching him die. Abby - I didn't want that. JJ - I know but it happened. You and I both know we can feel really guilty when someone dies and it's too late. There's something else, isn't there? I know you, there's something you're not telling me and it's not about Nick. Theresa - There is a sliver lining to this though. People are going to stop talking about Liam Fraser 24/7. Anne - Yeah. Hope Brady was here yesterday morning. She was wrapping up that case. Theresa - What did she want? Anne - To see if Daniel's apt. key had been duplicated. Theresa - You didn't tell her that I ... Anne - Oh come on sweetheart, I had your back. Besides no one saw you give him the key so you're home free. Theresa - I'd really like to move on with my life. It's time to get Brady to focus. Brady - Are you okay? Maggie - I just came from a meeting. I didn't speak. I just kept thinking about Nick. You know he was doing great, turning into a fine young man and then when he got into the pills ... he was never the same even though he straightened himself out. His mind was changed. Brady - 4 yrs. in prison didn't help. Maggie - No. Even when he got out he really couldn't cope. He made a good show of it though. Brady - We all need help sometimes. It's too bad he didn't reach out. Maggie - I'm going to go to another meeting in a little while. It's what I do whenever there's a crisis. I try to focus on what's important. Brady - I know. It's good. Maggie - Don't take this the wrong way but maybe you'd like to go with me? Sami - Eric, I swear I didn't mean for this to happen. I didn't want any of this to happen. Eric - What? Sami - What? Eric - When I walked in you said what's done is done. What were you talking about? Sami - Did you hear about Nick Fallon? He was shot last night. Eric - Is he okay? Sami - No. Actually he was rushed to University Hospital and he died there and the whole Horton clan is in major crisis mode. Eric - Okay, if you had nothing to do with this why are you feeling guilty? Segment 3: Brady - I'm glad you have AA. It's important for you especially right now but it's not for me; it's not for everyone. Maggie - If Nick had gone to meetings he might have changed his life; been a different person. Brady - Maybe. We all make choices though. I have to deal with this right now (he got a text). Is there anything I can do for you? Do you need a ride somewhere? Maggie hugs him. No, be safe. Brady says goodbye and leaves. Anne - You had a good thing going with that booze hound. What do you think he's worth? Theresa - Well I'll let you know when I get him back. It was unfair the way he put me on hold like that. But now the whole Liam thing is over it's time for Brady to come back to bed. JJ - Abigail, you know what a screw-up I've been. Man I did some things I'm so ashamed of; that I don't want to even think about. Not once did you judge. I won't judge you either. I'm not saying that you did anything wrong but you're really messed up right now and maybe if you talk to me ... Abby turns to him. The doorbell rings. JJ answers it. It's Paige. Paige - I heard what happened to your cousin. You must be pretty upset. I saw the cars out in front and thought I'd stop in and say how sorry I was. Abby comes into the foyer - That's sweet of you Paige. Thanks. Yeah we're upset but you know what, it's over and there's nothing you can do about it. Sometimes you think you may want to turn back the clock but you can't; you can't make it right. A fact is a fact. Somebody murdered Nick. Sami - You don't understand. What happened to Nick was awful enough but Allie saw the whole thing. It was terrible. She was at the Horton Town Square, we were all there and she started screaming and pointed. We all look around and Nick comes staggering in covered in blood. He collapsed in Julie's arms. It all happened right in front of Allie. Eric - Dear Lord. Sami - I know. It's horrible. I can only imagine that it could take years for her to get over something like this if she ever does. Eric - Children can be resilient. Sami - Nice try. Eric - Seriously, it happens. At least we can hope. But I'm still confused, why do you feel guilty? Sami gets a call. I have to take this. It's from Lucas. He's freaking out about Allie too. Hey it's me. No, I'm good. Just tell me what's happening with Allie. Dan - I know this is tough on you and the kids. Call me if you need anything. Jen - I will. I just thank God that you're okay. I couldn't sleep last night thinking of you on that island just lying there ... Dan - Just move that image to the recycle bin; I'm fine. Jen - I know. I keep thinking we are so lucky. Dan - We are. Every day we are together is like winning a prize. Jen - I love you. Dan - I love you. Jen - I'm so sorry; you said you had to deal with some issues. Dan - I have to work some things out; get to the bottom of it and I will. Marlena - What I don't get is why did you go to Smith Island in the first place. Nicole - Okay what's going on. Why would you ask me that. Marlena - Just because I'm confused I guess. How did you know that Jennifer ... Nicole - You always do this. Something happens, you come on all sugary and sweet and then you start with the questions. You can't accept what I have to say at face value. I'm lying; go ahead, say it. What are you accusing me of? Segment 4: Marlena - I'm not accusing you of anything. I was asking why you went to Smith Island ... Nicole - Here's my goal Marlena. To build a good and happy life. Sounds good? Marlena - Sounds admirable. Nicole - Even when something bad happens and someone tries to kill me or my friends. When the moment is over I just want to get back to trying to be happy. Marlena - And I appreciate that. Nicole - And then someone comes along who's always suspicious; who's always trying to find the dark side of what I'm doing just like she was with Kristen DiMera. And now that Kristen has disappeared she's kind of at loose ends. And now she has to transfer all of that energy into trying to find out what even I'm up to. You see where I'm starting to have a problem with this! Marlena - Indeed I do. And the fact that an innocent question elicits such an amazing response is very telling. Your defensive network is way out of line. Nicole gets a call. Hello handsome. Eric - I know I'm supposed to meet you right now but I'm with my sister. Something has come up and I need to find my mom right away. Sami is very upset. Nicole - Well you're in luck. Mama bear is right here. She hands the phone over. Marlena - Hi honey, is everything okay? Eric - Mom, Sami needs you right away. Dan is with Maggie at the K mansion. He says she should have called; he would have come back to the hospital. Maggie - There wasn't anything you could have done. I would have called you except I knew he wasn't your family. Dan - But you are. Mom, how are you? Maggie - Oh I'm keeping busy, trying to help people. Trying not to think about all the help I didn't give Nick. Dan - You did all kinds of things for Nick. When he got out of prison where did he live? Maggie - Here, free room and board in a mansion run by servants isn't the same as being close; making sure he had the emotional support that he needed. Now he's gone and it's too late. I have to live with that for the rest of my life. She cries. Marlena is at the D mansion. I wish I had known about this last night. I might have been able to help. Sami - I did text you. Marlena checks her phone. This phone has been losing ?; maybe it's time for a new phone. Okay, how is Allie? Sami - Mom, it's tough right now and I'm just worried. Marlena - She's young. She'll get through this. I'm going to give you the name of a child psychiatrist who's very experienced. Sami - It's hard seeing your kid go through something like that; seeing something so traumatic. It's the worst thing in the world. Marlena - I know. Abby is curled up in Alice's chair. Jen sits on the footstool. Hey, I gather you didn't get much sleep. Abby - I'm pretty wiped out. Jen - I know that we talked about it; the shock of what happened and I know you were really upset so I thought it would be best to give you some time alone. But how are you feeling right now? Abby - I have to say this Mom and you're the only person I can say it to. Jen - Okay. Abby - Nick's gone and he was family. And it's sad when someone dies so young but I've decided I'm not going to cry about it anymore because the truth is Nick turned out to be someone that I didn't even recognise. He was a total bastard. Nicole is standing by the crime tape in the park when Eric rushes up. Nicole - Don't come any further. Something horrible must have happened here. Look at all this police tape. Eric - Did you see the news this morning? Nicole - No, why? What happened? Eric - Nick Fallon was shot to death last night. Sami - The whole thing was horrible. We were just frozen, staring at Nick. Well Allie, she had my focus from then. Lucas and I got her out of the square as soon as we could. Marlena - Good. This is Dr. Carwin's number. She is very experienced. Sami - Thank you. Marlena - Don't take this wrong way but I'm worried about you. I think you could talk to somebody professional yourself. Sami - Why? Marlena - Because you should talk to someone with who you can be completely honest with. Sami - What does that mean Mom? You think I'm not being honest with you. Segment 5: Nicole is checking out her cell. You're right, it's all over the internet. Nick Fallon, bullets flying from a 9mm, died in surgery. The police are still investigating. Oh boy, I'm glad I kept our mouth shut about us. I ran into Marlena, she made me so nervous I pulled off my ring and shoved it in my pocket. Eric - We should put off telling anyone else in the family right now although I hate to delay it because I know how happy you are. Nicole - It's okay. Jen knows, she's thrilled. There's only one more person that absolutely needs to know. Maggie asks how Parker is. Is he coming home. Dan - In a few days. He talks about Parker and how happy he is. What's wrong? Maggie - Nothing. It just hit me. You love your son so much. I could be making funeral arrangements for you if things had gone differently on Smith Island. If I lost you ... Dan - It's over. I'm right here. I'm not going anywhere. Jen - Nick convinced Gabi to fight for full custody, seriously! Abby - I don't know all the details. I think Will was going to have Ari every other weekend. Jen - That's terrible. Abby - Yeah, he used me. I told him to call Aiden Jennings because he was so great with JJ but I had no idea that Nick was back to being this complete manipulator. Jen - And now you're angry. Abby - Yeah I'm angry. Jen - And now he's gone. Abby - We used to be really close but then he got obsessed with Melanie and she went to Europe. And then he did the exact same thing with Gabi. I know I sound like a total bitch when I say this but God I just wish he had never come back from New York. JJ and Paige are in the park outside the gates. JJ - My mom was really loved that you came by to say you were sorry. Paige - I mainly just came to see if you were okay but if you didn't even like him that much ... JJ - Yeah. Nick was weird. He got himself into some pretty serious trouble a couple of times. Everyone thinks that that Horton's are this great family. There's a plaque honoring my Grandma and Grandpa in the square. My mom is terrific, Abigail's great too ... me, not so much. Brady joins Theresa at a table in the club. Theresa - Hey, you came. I wasn't sure because you didn't text me back. Brady - Sorry. I've been busy. Did you hear that Nick Fallon was murdered. Theresa - Yeah I heard. It's really terrible. He was so young. Were you guys close? Brady - No but Maggie was like a second mother. Theresa - It's so awful. Having that happen to someone in your family has got to be a bummer. Brady - I know you didn't call me here to meet to talk about the Horton's. Theresa - No. I wanted to talk about us. Last night you kind of indicated ... I get why you backed off and the no booze thing. You really wanted to help Daniel and Jennifer. They're okay now. They're good and Daniel is free and clear. This whole time I was suspect #1 but it turns out this whole time it was Liam Fraser. So I just want to know, are we good, you and me? Marlena - I didn't say you were lying to me but this kind of thing can haunt someone for weeks, months, years and you and Nick were not on the best of terms. Sami - No kidding. Marlena - So seeing him die right in front of you must have caused some very mixed feelings. Sami - Yeah, mixed feelings pretty much sums it up. Marlena - The only way to deal with this fallout is to sit down and open up to somebody that you can trust. If you don't want to talk to a stranger you can talk to me, not as a therapist but as your mom. Segment 6: Theresa - I know I have to accept some responsibility. I mean I should have tried harder to tell Daniel what a whacko Liam was. Brady - That would have helped. Theresa - But I wasn't the villain here, Liam was. What about the you and me thing? Do you think we could start up again maybe over a small drink. She orders 2 Bloody Mary's. Maggie - Julie keeps saying that Nick was pointing to his killer when he died. Dan - Who was he pointing at? Maggie - Everyone in the square apparently. Julie likes drama. Although Nick had enemies; probably even more than we know about. He was trying so hard lately. Dan - To do the right thing? Maggie - Yeah, trying and doing are two very different things. A lot of people try but a lot more keep on making those bad choices. Dan - And keep on lying to themselves and their friends. Maggie - Yeah. Well I'm going to call Melanie. Dan thinks that's a really good idea. I am going to go home. If you need any help, anything ... Maggie - I know. I love you son. Dan hugs her - I love you. He repeats that he's here if she needs him and leaves. Outside he texts Nicole. No time like the present. Nicole - Daniel's been a friend for a very long time despite everything he's been rooting for us since we got together. Eric knows. Nicole - I can't wait to flash my ring in front of him and watch his eyes light up. Eric - I'd love to go with you but I'm going to swing by Maggie's. She just needs to know that people care. Nicole gets a text from Dan. He wants to see her at the apt. right now. Eric - I love you very much. Nicole - I love you; always will. We're going to be so happy. They kiss. Sami - If I ever decide I want to talk to anyone, a therapist or a mom, you will be the first person to know but I think right now I would like some tea. Would you like some? Marlena - Yes camomile is great and while you're gone I'll see if I can work on this phone. Marlena scrolls through her phone. Okay unread Texts. Oh my gosh, she did text me. I wondered why I didn't get these picked up. Okay, unheard messages. Nick. Segment 7: Theresa drinks. Brady - Since I've pulled back I've been seeing things a little differently. Theresa - Meaning. Brady - Meaning I try not judge people, God knows I can't with my track record but I'm in a different place right now. I'm not saying that I don't want to see you again. Being away has changed things for me a little. I just want to take it slow, see what happens. Is that okay? Theresa - Yeah it's fine but just so you know big guy, we're not done here. Paige - No family is perfect. You should see me and my Mom. JJ - You want me to meet your family. Paige - Why not? JJ - That's cool. It's usually a big deal to take someone to meet your family. I was totally embarrassed when you met mine. Paige - Seriously! Your mom is so nice. JJ - Yeah but she gets a little pushy. Paige - I didn't see that and she's so beautiful! JJ - You think my mom's good looking! Well I'm looking at someone who is really beautiful right now and HOT! Not that that is all you are. I'm sure you're just as beautiful on the inside. Paige - I love the compliment; stop while you're ahead. They kiss. Abby - OMG, I'm a terrible person. Nick hasn't even been dead for one day. Jen - You're not a terrible person. I understand. You're angry but that doesn't mean you think it's good he's dead or that he somehow deserved it. Abby - No, I don't think that. I wonder what's going to happen now. Jen - The police are going to find out who did this to Nick and they are going to bring him to justice. Marlena listens to Nick's message. Julie suggested that I call you. She thought you might recommend somebody for me to see in a professional ... you know, I don't think I can go on like this. Marlena is startled when Sami drops the tea tray. Maggie walks Eric to the door. Eric - Just know that I'll be praying for you. Maggie - I appreciate you stopping by. I know you have a job and work to do. The world doesn't stop because someone is grieving. Eric - We're all here to help. Just call and ask. Maggie - Yes. You know I've been thinking. I'm going to take every minute of every day and focus on people who are happy; on good things. Just knowing that Daniel, Nicole and Jennifer made it home safe and sound, that's a great blessing. Eric - It is. Maggie - And you and Nicole, are things going great for you now? Eric - Yeah. I'm very happy. After all that happened I didn't think it was possible for me to be this happy again but Nicole changed all that. Nicole knocks on Dan's door. He closes the folder. Nicole - Hi. I'm so glad you texted me. I have something I need to tell you. I'm so excited, I can't wait! Dan - You're right. It can't wait. |

Was this at the end? Maybe they'll show it again at the beginning of tomorrow? Or should I watch at least the end of the show today so I won't miss what sounds like the only good part of today's show. Edit: Just posted after Pat and see it's at the end. That's highly random. I would predict that the June 12th date would coincide with the gala Haiden have been planning & the August 28th date would coincide with a trial date. Then again, I could be completely wrong. lol. |

I remember the fish market being off of the main house. Like you could walk from the fish market where the counter was and into the living room? And I remember the kitchen too, which had a back door. |

Yes, she stayed at the farm for awhile and enjoyed taunting Maggie. I remember a scene after Maggie's surgery to regain the use of her legs. She was in the physical therapy room at the hospital and Linda came in dripping venom. Maggie gave her an insult back and Linda smirked and said : "The kitten grows claws ". Haha. Linda was great and 'loved ' Mickey for a very long time. |
