Sami and Elvis sitting down with the kids to explain about Nick's death... I just can't with those two rotten idiots.
Not sure what is wrong with them talking to their children about that. It seems like a normal thing that any loving parents would do. If they did not do it, they would be criticized for being uncaring parents. I know they put a hit on Nick and think they 'killed' him, but that is a separate issue. Even mafia/mobster families are loving, caring toward their family regardless what they do outside of their homes.
I don't see what is normal or loving about parents putting out hits on people and think group hugging is going to make it all ok. EJ and Sami are not fit to be parents, those poor kids deserve better than having murderers for parents. I don't think that scene was in any way meant to show that a group hug makes putting out a hit okay, and I think that is obvious. That scene is meant to show that they love their children. Believe it or not, you can be a flawed, bad, and even an evil individual to everyone and everything out in the world and still love your children. Loving their children does not mean they have to be virtuous in every other part of their life.

Whatever makes GAGGIFER break up is OK by me! If him and Nicole get together that shit won't last either. I just wish death would take those 2.

Loving their children does not mean they have to be virtuous in every other part of their life. If EJ and Sami love their children so much, they would put them first. Living a life of crimes is not putting your children first, quite the opposite they are like an afterthought to them and they are putting them in constant danger. Not only are they exposing them to criminal activities but sooner or later those poor kids will become casualties and get caught in the crossfire as they have been in the past. Loving parents don't do that to their children, they try to lead by example. Those kids have been used as pawns repeatedly so excuse me if I don't get all fuzzy inside over their little group hug moment. They will grow up screwed up in the head like all the Demira children and that is what is sad. Real mob families hopefully do a better job at shielding their small children but they usually turn out fucked up or dead.

The answer is NO.....I resent the way they have written Allie and Sami all these years for a woman who constantly complained that her mother preferred her siblings over her, she seriously should know better.

So... all in all a *much* better episode than yesterday. Loved all the WilSon action and focus. It was such a delicious thing seeing Sonny in Hope's office with the gun in his backpack. Gabi was just downright scary today. I mean, her complete composure and calmness, not to mention her abruptness to make all those decisions and keep herself busy in order to not think about what she probably had done the previous night. And it wasn't just that. It was everything, her hair done and clothing. And at the same time it was clear that she was just fighting not to crack. Wow. I don't think I've ever said this before, but CB was really good in showing all the subtext today. After the display today, I wouldn't be surprised if Gabi were seen to lose all her marbles before she exits. Hope was good in cop mode as per usual. She also looked great in the black. Marlena was great too, although I kind of think she could have questioned Sami's ridiculousness a little bit more. AS was just once again gawd awful today, as she was yesterday. And did I ever mention, I do *NOT* like that weird loose shirt thing-y she had on. Hideous. I feel like Jen Jen is starting to realize Nicole hasn't changed one bit. In one hand I think it's a good thing, but on the other I feel it's contrived since she is her bestie now. Aiden coming over to Jennifer who he barely knows to offer his condolences was a bit weird and ott. However, I liked that Hope didn't know he had been represeting Gabi. As she shouldn't have. The Nicole/Daniel scenes were just Gawd awful. Awful, awful, awful. And omg, but SC is a *horrible*, horrible actor. My God. Did he or did he look like he was going to throw up every minute of those scenes? It was constipation acting 101. And, I'm sorry, Dan "taught Nicole what love is"? Ummm, what? And Nicole. My God. :shame: I don't think she has ever been more pathetic as she was today. I mean, lying through her teeth, of course. That's one thing. But to shrug off all her mistakes as if they're just in the past? To accuse Dan of not being happy for her? To suspect he's jealous? And when Dan was clearly about to bust her, still not saying anything except acting all like she honestly didn't have one iota of a clue as to what he was talking about? That was probably the worst for me. I mean, the fact that she can be so convincing, lie so convincingly, and truly look and act like she hasn't really done anything. It really makes it seem like she really doesn't know what she's done or think she's actually hasn't done anything wrong. They really took every single thing from the book that was ever pathetic in this world and put that into Nicole's mouth. I cannot remember the last time when I was so ashamed of a soap character. Good Gawd. Yes yes yes and more yes! You summed up this episode exactly right my friend! :)

I don't disagree. From a character standpoint, she should have been with Allie the whole time. It should be EJ trying to explain to the kids what Allie will be like when Sami brings her home (though she should probably be there in the first place). From a writing standpoint, having Sami leave Allie in anyone else's care was a poor choice to make in order to show us Sami being all frazzled and EJ trying to calm her down. My previous post was solely about my take on the purpose of the family talk/group hug scene.

Sami is more frazzled about thinking she killed Nick and getting caught than the effect it has on her daughter . Too little too late I say, she's been wanting Nick dead forever now. Even though both she and EJ had two different reasons for ordering that hit, both did it for their own selfish purposes and that is to cover their own ass, Sami for trying to drown Nick and EJ to keep his affair from being exposed. Not to protect Will ,Gabi ,Arianna or for the love of their children but because they are self serving and heartless . I hope their dirty deeds catch up to them and they are both carted off to jail, now that would be the best send off ever. Let those kids be raised by decent human beings.

I think Sami is such a mess, that it is better that she not be around Allie right now. If she stayed at the pub, she's with her cousins & her calm & collected Dad rather than her weirded out Mom. Sami had to sit down & chill out before she talked to Johnny & Sydney.
And Ejami aren't going to be carted off to jail because the kids are leaving with one or the other or both of them.

Well, I will have to agree to disagree with you if only regarding the reason Sami wanted him gone. I think it had everything to do with not letting Nick take Arianna from Will and by extension her.

I have just witnessed true evil today. It was in the form of Jennifer's pants. Posted Image
I do appreciate the level of acting Melissa Reeves is giving in this picture....covering up that coffee cup like it's the audience. Shielding it's "eyes" from the disgrace it's witnessing. Kudos. What a thespian. ;) :scared: That outfit...Missy's neck....

I doubt AZ and JS were ever together in real life. it does seem far-fetched. Isn't JS in a longterm relationship? And although AZ was single for a bit, she was married. Not saying it couldn't have happened but still...

Daniel taught Nicole what love is. I need to know who wrote this episode so I know who to set on fire
Well Rafe gave Kate back her soul. Daniel taught Nicole how to love. Hopefully, Eric will teach Jen about fashion and style. By making her wear gray hoodies, t-shirts and leather jackets all the time to wash her out even more? lol

What does that mean?
The wild thing.
When were James Scott and Ari Zucker ever a couple? Did I miss that? And EJ was the most interesting during his relationship with Nicole. In my eyes, EJole is so much more entertaining than EJami. Who knows if they dated or were a couple, but they were coupling.

Who knows if they dated or were a couple, but they were coupling. This made me laugh right out loud. It reminds me of conscious uncoupling which reminds me of someone turning the hose on a couple dogs humping.

It's obvious that TomSell ship Dicole. They get all this "meaningful" dialogue (which makes me nauseous), while Eric & Nicole never get to spend a full episode together. And now, apparently Daniel taught Nicole how to love. Not Eric (or anyone else), but Dan the Man. Well, isn't this just peachy.
