This week's SOD features a short article on EJ and Abigail. EJ tells Abigail that he hired a hit man to get Nick, but at the last minute, the hit man didn't go through with it. Kate Mansi explains that EJ tells Abigail this "because he wants her to know he's being honest with her". Kate Mansi says she's shocked by what EJ says, but "she realizes how blinding her feelings for EJ are." EJ tells Abigail to keep what he told her a secret... Pick up the latest Digest for details! |

I wonder if EJ knows the hitman didnīt do it or if he is lying about that. I also wonder that KM saying Abbyīs feelings for EJ is blinding means she isnīt over him, and if she will be okey with his dark side. If Ejabby could ever work as a couple she needs to be able to love him for who he is. |

I have a hard time understanding why he would admit this to her. She already wants to tell mommy about the sex, does he really think she won't want to tell her about this? |

Abby knows EJ has a motive and her conscience would make her go to Hope sooner or later, but if EJ can convince her that the hitman didnīt do it she will probably thinks itīs pointless to go to Hope. |

EJ should have just killed Abby and saved us from having to watch her discover that mobsters often hire hitmen. |

Abby is the dumbest character on the planet. Honey, Remember when you were pissed that Chad lied to somebody else? And he was barely a DiMera but you couldn't wait to blame your troubles on that. Now you are shocked about the actions of the man who put your cousin in a morgue drawer and brainwashed your uncle. Kill her EJ, it would have been better than killing Nick. |

They keep trying to make the character of Abigail viable by putting her in scenes with their "leading man' and it just is not working. It's sloppy, lazy and repetitive. Just like the character of Jennifer. With the amount of press KM has been doing, it seems they are positioning her to take on a bigger role long term on the show. But the writing does just substantiate any reason for me to like her, want to watch her or root for her in any circumstance. Edit: I lied there is one circumstance which also holds true for Jennifer. When either are with JJ, just talking family, not Daniel, they are tolerable. Edited by daysjahvu, May 16 2014, 10:20 AM.

I wish he would brainwash her into a mature woman. If that doesn't work I'll take the morque drawer. What did she think he was going to do when he assured her that Nick was not going to say anything? Send him a strongly worded letter demanding the pictures back? Everytime I think Abby is getting more mature, that girl regresses back into a whinny little girl. And so we have an article where Lucas is named the killer so you know he's not...now this says that the hitman didn't work out...and that Will & Sonny are protective of one another so it ain't them...Kate's gun is missing so it ain't her, it's not Abby...The Jordan/Ben stuff reveleaed it wasn't them. Why don't they just run an article caled "Gabi did it!" ? lol There's no mystery when you know from the get-go whodunnit. |

The Jordan & Ben inclusion in the suspect list is ludicrous. Unless Ben is a demented serial killer, what motive does he have for killing a complete stranger? Abby is also ridiculous as a suspect. The other suspects have slightly more believable motive. But it could be Rafe. He hated the guy and maybe Jensen beating cost a brain injury that makes him do criminal things then blackout. |

I'll take whatever Ejabby interaction I can get, so in that sense I guess I am looking forward to this scene. I am curious how EJ comes to tell Abby about the hitman- she presses him bc of her suspicions, I guess? I wonder if he is lying to Abby in that he still thinks the hitman did it, or if he learns by this point that it wasn't the hitman (I am guessing the former). I am also curious about the Abigail's feelings for EJ are just too blinding thing, in terms of what exactly that means and if impacts Abby's behavior/choices in any way. I don't get what the big deal is. Abby wanted to tell her mother about Ejabby sex bc Nick had threatened to expose it (or at least indicated as much), so I always saw that statement as a form of damage control - have the truth come from Abby instead of Nick, maybe contain the fallout as much as humanly possible. She even admitted in that scene that the last thing she wanted to do was tell her mother. I don't LOVE seeing Abigail weepy all the time, but I totally buy her guilt....guilt about the affair, and then also fear that Nick's discovery of the affair could have in part contributed to his shooting. Just as much as I buy Sami's guilt, but disagree she should be written so goddamned unhinged and crazy since she schemes all the time, lol. Having Abby spend less time with Jenn wouldn't be a bad thing, however. I find the wording about Abby being shocked a little strange....seems to me she already has her suspicions.
