Strong submission for Chandler Massey...surprised he cut his screentime to just over 3 mins.

If Massey does not threepeat, it will probably go to one of the guys from GH.

They should really change the name of the category from "outstanding" to "least terrible".

Younger Actress is horrid...I wouldn't vote for any of them.

I agree... Yikes. It still blows my mind that Kate Mansi has yet to get a nomination. I don't think she's too incredible, but the girl can act and she gets some pretty good material occasionally.

I think of the Younger Actresses Kim Matula is the best, but I have to agree that they are all sort of lacking. I was hoping that Kate Mansi would be in it (I know her acting isn't superb either, though).

Chandler's scene is really good and real, especially if you know the character. It's not an over-the-top scene. I think that Bryan Craig is going to be a winner for his scenes. His arguing and desperation always comes through in his intense scenes and I find his acting emotional, mostly because of his voice.

Kelley Missal is great, but I did not like that choice.

Eric Martsolf (surprisingly) has the best reel out of those 5...and his reel is the only one that is NOT about babies (jesus!).

Andersen will probably win since people think he is overdue, but if I am voting just on reels, I would give it to Martsolf...and that is quite hilarious to me because I used to think he was an atrociously wooden actor.

Supporting Actress is also up now if you go to the Daytime Emmy Facebook page.

Jane Elliot in a cakewalk!

EDIT - They WERE up...now they seem to be gone.

I agree, it has to be either BA or EM. But I honestly don't understand how the heck Steve Burton and Scott Clifton were nominated on those reels over Blake Berris and Greg Vaughan. They're weak reels, imho.

I re-watched Elizabeth Hendrickson's SA reel and I really would enjoy seeing her win...but I feel like these performances are ALWAYS nominated and always win (except of course when DAYS does it...ie: Zachs death).

Its going to EH or JE. I would love to see JE win her first Emmy though...totally deserved and her reel is very strong.

Eric Martsolf was okay, then he got Eileen'd. Now he's incredible.

IMO, Elizabeth Hendrickson by far has the strongest reel among supporting actresses. Its not even close. I think a lot of of the support for Jane Elliot has to do with her time on GH and not so much her acting in that scene because, IMO, her reel is kind of weak.

I'm hoping Andersen doesn't win. Ugghhh....

It wouldn't be her first. She won in the same category in 1981.

Hendrickson IMO was way too baity and OTT (but that sometimes wins you an Emmy)...I would rather see Amelia Heinle win if a Y&R women will win.
