What is the actual last day Ejerk and Sami air. That might help build a time line regarding the object that is assumed to be an urn.

Is it unusual for random pics to be taken on a set? It just seems like most of the time they snap pictures in the hall, their dressing room or hair and make-up.
If they were having a party, they were probably on one of the sets. Aw ok, thanks.

Who the H is in that portrait hanging on the wall at the DiMera mansion?!
OMG WTF IT'S KATE AND SAMI!!!! Posted Image
I thought we had established it was Kate & Sami when Kristian's OK! TV interview came out. lol.
Yep and it makes sense if Sami leaves but Kate stays I'm predicting Lucas moves into the Dimansion with her..... Hee hee Samis hair is brown in the pic, and now her hair is blonde again. Seems like the takeover will happen before EJ dies. Would love it if Sami was the one who took him out. Seems fitting for their history.

What is the actual last day Ejerk and Sami air. That might help build a time line regarding the object that is assumed to be an urn. If there were no pre-taped scenes, EJ's last episode is early October and Sami's last episode is late October/early November.

I'm a little confused. I started watching days again about 6 months ago. I thought Carrie Brady was with Mike Horton. Is she back with Austin? Thx.

If Sami and Kate take over DiMera Enterprises, I wonder what role Chad will play in the storyline? If Sami already knows about Ejabby's affair, maybe Sami will tell Chad, and Chad will team up with Sami and Kate to destroy EJ and take over DiMera Enterprises. (If so, my guess is that Chad shows up at Ejami's wedding as a surprise guest.) Since Chad asked EJ to keep an eye on Abby and make sure she was okay after Chad left town, Chad would see it as a huge betrayal that EJ was hooking up with Abby. On the other hand, although Chad might want to destroy EJ, I don't think Chad would be really motivated to steal Stefano's company....unless Chad is super pissed that Stefano knew about Ejabby's affair and that Stefano helped EJ conceal the affair.
If EJ does fake his death, I hope he at least informs his mom that he's still alive. I'm still hoping for at least one Susan/EJ scene before EJ exits DAYS!

Tweet to Ken Corday, "How about hiring some writers that would listen to the DOOL fan base, instead of writing for the love of their lives "Dannifer". Maybe then DOOL will still be on the air for another 10 years". Remember the fan base is what keeps this show on the air." :soapbox:

I legitimately think that write up wasn't intended to be misleading. I think SOD didn't know. I also wonder if Ali hadn't been so excited if it would have gotten any attention in the first place. The show didn't seem nearly as invested. Michael Fairman seemed to play a role in it, too, and he's a very clearly biased "fan boy" of the E.J. and Sami relationship.

If the show hadn't lead people to believe that this was the reveal, by doing an SOD article on it, having actors say the episode marked a turning point (which doesn't actually seem to be true), etc. it wouldn't have annoyed people as much as it did. The problem wasn't the dream itself, the problem was the false advertising. The show promised that something important would happen, and it didn't.
Yeah, I have considered that, and I thought about mentioning it in one of my previous posts, but I decided to just mention the theory about how everything involving Sami and E.J. seems to be taken to extremes instead. But I still don't see why any of that was taken at face value in the first place instead of being met with at least a bit of skepticism. I'm really not trying to blow my own horn here, but I know that none of those comments or articles did anything to convince me that the reveal was gong to actually happen in that episode, because it just didn't make any sense that the reveal would have suddenly happened at that particular time. I was certain that the reveal would occur during E.J. and Sami's wedding, as tradition dictates, and no amount of interviews or articles could have convinced me otherwise. It's not like I'm any smarter than anyone else here, and it's not like no one has ever written a misleading article or given a misleading interview or touted a storyline in a way that turned out to be false before, so why were so many people so willing to believe this and so annoyed that their "trust" in the show had been broken when it turned out to be a fake-out? Wishful thinking? :shrug:I mean, people are always saying here that Ken Corday is a liar and that they never believe anything that he says. They've been saying that for years -- long before the articles and interviews about this fake-out surfaced. I've seen people display skepticism in response to things Alison Sweeney has said before, things James Scott has said before, things Jen Lilley has said before, and so on. (If that last name confuses anyone, I'm only mentioning Jen because she is one of the most recent examples I can think of who has said things in interviews that people here have been skeptical about. It didn't matter that those things had appeared in Soap Opera Digest articles -- people still declared that she couldn't be believed [and they were right].) I just don't get why this particular time should have been any different, but for whatever reason, it clearly was.
I was originally 100% sure that we were headed toward a wedding reveal and I assumed those who guessed otherwise were fooling themselves, but when the article came out, I assumed I was wrong and that Days had decided to do something unpredictable. Before that show aired, I don't see why anyone wouldn't take the article at face value, for the most part. I guess I've missed out on all these wildly incorrect spoiler articles. I've seen articles where an actor's interpretation of the character's actions doesn't jibe with what aired (Stockholm Syndrome, for a recent example), but none where the write up was deliberately misleading on every level. If I read a spoiler article about Kayla kissing EJ, I might disagree with MBE's interpretation that Kayla has no feelings for EJ and is only trying to make Steve jealous, but I'd still expect to see Kayla actually kiss EJ, or I would have, up until recently. It's not exactly the same thing, but that Soap Opera Network article about Blake Berris from several months ago springs to mind. It blatantly claimed that Blake wasn't going anywhere, and we now know that he had actually already left before the article had even been posted. Of course, I think I might have been the only person here who questioned that claim, so it doesn't really support my point that people here are usually more skeptical about such things, but it does support my theory that wishful thinking plays a big part in whether someone chooses to take something at face value or question it. I didn't want Blake to stick around, and I am not the least bit invested in Sami and E.J.'s relationship, so I was willing to inspect those articles with the necessary skepticism that others were perhaps quick to toss aside because they wanted them to be true.

The show may be intentionally posting these pics to throw people off. They've been "accidently" tweeting these things a lot lately. After the April 21 episode I don't trust anything. I would be shocked if Ej was really dead.
I agree on not trusting this show but If they do fake his death, I think it'll be Stefano's doing and Sami will be in the dark. I don't see how Sami can justify making Syd and Johnny believe their father is dead knowing that he isn't. It would be too cruel to have them grief for 2 weeks (or more) it seems only to have them see him alive and well in a secluded secret spot. It can happen but I think it's less likely. I can see Stefano though doing it though....without second thoughts. I think it's possible that Sami and Kate agree to have Sami run Countess W's chicago office or something....and she goes there...it's not that far from Salem apparently and it offers her the opportunity to return for events as AS wants Sami to do.
Maybe Stefano fakes EJīs death and then in Samiīs last episode he reveals to her that Sami is alive and they get reunited. Apart from that I donīt think JSīs interviews would make sense about the Ejami fans gonna be happy if the summer is all about detroying Ejami I also donīt think it would make sense from the writers. If they didnīt want Ejami to be the rootable couple why put Ejami together in the first place instead of Safe or Lumi. They should pick a direction and stick to it, and if they wanted to end them they should have just done that instead of dragging it out for an entire year. I could have been fine with an other direction if the writers just let me know where the story is going and who I am suppose to root for. I've never known Days to stick to a direction because a fandom wants it. Look what they did to Ericole. Also, Days is very big on dragging stories out. The writers are never going to let fans know where they are going or tell them who to root for.

Ah, goody goody.. I hope Deidre did a lot of ass-kissing here so that we could see some in-character writing for J&M in 2015.
(Actually, writing anything for J&M would be a good start, too. J&M interaction in a month: 1min20s. Since June 2013, maybe 20min at the tops. I'm pretty sure EJami got that much airtime in the fake-out episode alone.)

1999: Carrie and Mike leave Salem 1999-2005: Carrie and Mike break up at some point 1999-2002: Austin and Sami become a couple 2002: Austin and Sami break up at Sami's Vegas wedding 2005: After Sami and Lucas break up, Austin returns and Carrie returns 2006: Sami/Austin and Lucas/Carrie become couples due to small scheming by Lucas and a larger scheme by Sami to make Carrie think Austin and Carrie will have deformed babies. 2006: Due to EJ (Black Glove's) manipulations, Sami dumps Austin and after Sami's scheme is revealed Carrie/Austin reunite 2011: Carrie and Austin return 2011-12: Sami cheats on Rafe with EJ, Carrie and Rafe begin flirtation, Carrie gets pregnant by Austin, Abby tries to seduce Austin, Carrie/Austin reunite and leave.
