"dew point" & "dirt matching" lol. Okay i sorta love that this show is trying to make us think the police force isn't completely incompetent. But really, dirt is that different they can match it??
It can be. I'm sure they have the technology to measure phosphorus, nitrogen, etc levels in it, as well as determine its composition.

true, but it seems like unless there was something unusual about the soil, it could be easily refuted as evidence during a trial.

That whole thing seemed off to me, too. It would have made more sense if Nick had been killed up by the lake, but the park is apparently right in the heart of Salem, along with HTS. The soil in the square should be the same as that in the park.

Regarding the characters who were missing from Arianna Grace's first birthday party:

We all know that Lucas was being questioned by Hope.

EJ was busy threatening Abigail, which is why both of them weren't at Ari's birthday party.

Sonny asked where EJ was -- and Sami replied "he's hat a lot on his plate". Sami sounded *very* awkward -- perhaps Sami was awkward about his being *busy* because she knows about Ejabby? -- or perhaps Sami was awkward about his being *busy* because she was thinking about EJ being busy hiring the hitman and getting the refund from the hitman?.

Where was JJ?

And I agree that Rafe should have been there. Where was he? Reading over the new custody agreement? But wouldn't the birthday party be equally important?

Mama Hernandez got mentioned! Gabi wanted them to take pictures for Uncle Rafe and Grandma Hernandez.

Sonny's brothers got mentioned! Wow!

I miss Justin and Adrienne -- but at least they got mentioned as visiting Sonny's brothers.

I agree with the posters who pointed out that it's absolutely ridiculous that Allie, Johnny, and Sydney were missing. Were they even mentioned by Will?

Marlena and Sami privately discussed Allie, but Will wasn't part of the conversation.

We got a mention of Gabi's mother and Sonny's brothers. Characters not on the canvas at this time.

But nothing about Johnny and Sydney?

Big question: Why do we RARELY see Will with his siblings? He rarely mentions them. I've seen Will and Allie meet at the pub or the club when Lucas is there with Allie -- but otherwise it's like Will doesn't even know her. And Will never mentions Johnny or Sydney (at least not in the past year).

(edit to add that Sonny and Will danced with Allie at their wedding reception, which was nice).

Why haven't we seen scenes with Will worried about Allie having witnessed Nick die, and why hasn't he visited her to see if she's okay?

If Will himself killed Nick -- or if Will is afraid Sonny or Lucas did it --then maybe he's feeling too emotionally overwrought to visit Allie; .... but then ... why haven't we seen Will wondering aloud to himself if Allie is okay?

I liked Abby on fridayīs show I think KM is good at playing upset, but I didnīt like EJ being so rough with her he shouldnīt be manhandling women.
No, he shouldn't be, but it's completely in his character to do so.

Sometimes when EJ has manhandle women I think it has made sense why he would get rough for instant when he grabb Nicole by the throat after finding out she had been lying about her miscarriage I could understand him being really angry with her, but on thursday and fridayīs show it seemed that EJ could have searched Abby in a more sexy way, and they could have written the Ejabby scene on friday without him dragging her through the room it was pointless and unecassary. It didnīt made sense why EJ didnīt just told her right away that the hitman didnīt do it.

not only that Lucas could have been there at any time or day. the evidence seem flimsy at best. I don't think Lucas should have confessed. They had nothing on him except for the deleted text until he opened his mouth. Maybe Lucas is setting himself up to be arrested which is also stupid considering that he does not even know for sure that Will actually did it. First make sure he is actually guilty before sacrificing yourself.

There was nothing sexy about what EJ did to Abby and how he searched her person. He has been nothing but an utter jackass. He used his sex appeal to discombobulate her, and when he was done searching her he treated her with utter disregard and nastiness; I just don't get why she didn't march out of there and tell Hope about what happened. If she doesn't, then she's one step lower from Sami in terms of being complicit in his scheme.

Abby is such a ninny. She can't tell anyone because she's afraid for her reputation :blah: What century does this chick live in? She's acting like she lives in the Victorian age. She talks like she'll be branded as a fallen woman when people find out. I just can't with her.

That scene did have a point. It showed Abby who EJ really is, and how he reacts toward people who are a threat to him. Now, of course, Abby, being Abby, probably won't retain this information, but that's on her.

I did.I was just emphasizing your point. I guess, I should've been clearer. Abigail's idiocy sometimes blinds me to things.

I really wish they would have more Will and Allie scenes, and I felt that even more when Chandler was playing the role since they looked so much like siblings. I get that they can't always pay for the child actors to be in scenes and whatnot, but I know it's been established that Will often took care of his younger siblings. He should be close to them. They could have added another throw alway line that the kids were on their way or had just left.

The line about Sonny's brothers gives me a faint hope that they might bring one of them on the canvas. With EJ exiting and Nick gone, there is no youngish male villain. We're going to have Eve, Kristen and Theresa onscreen soon with no non geriatric men to scheme with. JJ was promising as a bad boy, but they moved him in a different direction and I doubt they will keep Brady drunk/bad for long. So, it's time for Sonny's big brother Alex to hit town and make some trouble.

I don't get it. Isn't Abby suppose to be the heroine here? Just from the play by play, she's coming off very poorly here. IDK why anything EJ says about how his hit man didn't pull the trigger should make a difference to Abby. This shouldn't stop Abby from going to Hope. It seems like it's all about her reputation which makes her look bad. At least if EJ would have threatened her life I could understand. Or is Abby going to start to think EJ has feeling for her since he "opened up" to her about the hit man?
After the way he treated her today, she's the biggest fool in Salem if she thinks he has 'feelings' for her. LOL

I don't know what you are talking about. This is the first time I have enjoyed Eskabby. I thought Ej pushing her and shoving her was so HOT LOL. It is so obvious that he has 'feelings' for her that I may start shipping them LOL. :roflol:
I love how he treated Abby yesterday. She thought she was grown and she could handle the bad man. But faced with the truth she acted like a scared little girl. I agree seeing them side by side did make her seem like a little girl next to her uncle or father. EJ seriously I can't believe he was with her she is such a chid.

I think finding out EJ hiring a hitman would be enough to show Abby his bad side. I like bad EJ so I donīt mind him threatning people or getting a little rough if the situation calls for it, but I donīt think he saw Abby as a big threat he thought it was enough to tell her the truth to keep her quite, and he wasnīt trying to threatend her he was trying to tell her the truth in a lousy way since she missunderstood what he was saying and got scared.

They're just using Sonny's brothers to explain Adrianne and Justin's absence. The way they're sidelining the Kiriakis family, I doubt they'll bring any Kiriakis, let alone Sonny's brothers.

I think Allie has been seen with Will more than with Johhny and Sydney. But their absence doesn't make sense. They should've had the birthday at the Brady pub and had all the kids, including the cousins.

Maybe it was a final goodbye scene for Gabi with the Coven and Wilson (Ari was an honorary member of the Coven).

I think it's a logistics thing. Until Ari was born, they did show Will with the kids more. I think that when it comes to the kids they have a weird balance they have to do. Like they generally don't show the kids with random family members because if they're going to have the kids onscreen, they want it to be with the parent. So basically, if they are going to have Allie onscreen, they want it to be with Sami/Lucas. Likewise, if they want Will in a scene with a kid, they want it to be Ari. I think that's the same reason they didn't do much with Marlena/Will when he was little or with Sami/Belle when Belle was little. It's annoying.

I agree. That was the first time that Ej showed her the real ej dimera. I think he got tired of using kid glove with her and placate her. He is just done period. he wanted her to know what he is capable of and how far he is willing to go when people cross him. I noticed when Abby asked him if he was going to kill her to, he said nothing to reassure her.

My guess is that she is not going to say anything to anyone about this. She is too afraid to tarnish her perfect reputation to do the right thing by her cousin. I bet she is no longer going to call Ej threatening to blab.
