Quoting limited to 4 levels deep
No real back story. Somehow the discussion about physical stuff came up and an actor said JS doesn't do real slaps. Knowing that he has always done them with AS, we mentioned that, and the actor said well, not with KM. I guess JS was over it by this point.
Maybe he's afraid of the big man hands everyone was commenting on yesterday. ;)
I'd be way more scared of an AS slap over a KM slap. I'm telling you, he's totally going to be Massey-ing these last few months. I think you're right about that.

It's possible Sami knows, but I'm still not so sure she does. Sami has shown a lot of restraint if she knows. Yea, I was thinking the same thing, but then I can totally seeing the writers thinking they are clever with this. To me, I can't see Sami knowing and acting normal with Elvis as though nothing is wrong, but in order for the writers to pull it off they have to gloss over everything. If they do reveal that she has known, it will be another cheap shot by the writers and typical plot over character.

Daniel: "Nicole never lies." Daniel, have you actually MET Nicole?!
Sarcasm. Right after he said that, he let out an exasperated sigh, and called Eric to check up on things, because he knew she hadn't kept her word. I must've missed that part. It's not like this show holds my 100% rapt attention lately...

If they do reveal that she has known, it will be another cheap shot by the writers and typical plot over character. Well in what I'm thinking, they're not going to gloss over the affair at all. But rather than Sami finding out, blowing up and slapping everyone in sight like EJ dreamed, I think she found out and she's plotting revenge with Kate's help. Ever since we got the fake reveal, I've assumed the real reveal wouldn't happen on-screen and I still think that. My money is on Sami and Kate marrying the DiBoys - making them think they're marrying for love, but actually doing it to get their hands on DE. Kami's revenge is going to be taking the DiMeras for all they're worth.

Please let Kristen come back with Eric's baby. Eric and Nicole deserve so much better than this crappy storyline. It sucks when two of the most popular and loved characters on the show are in a horrible storyline. At least it ends soon!

Sami, I haven't loved you this much in months. You sooooo know what happened and you are sooooo fucking with Abby. I'm practically giddy.
That's the same feeling I am getting! :)
I could really get behind that! Might be one of few things that can redeem a character I once adored. I would love, love, love if she's playing both Abby and EJ. The wedding is a whole set-up for humiliation and this time, she's the humiliator not the humiliatee. Delicious! I would love it if this was the case!

That book is terrible, by the way. Saw it at my library and couldn't resist checking it out. You think AS is annoying in interviews - try spending a few hundred pages with her telling you how awesome she thinks she is.
(And in my defense, I want to write a book set at a soap opera and so this was technically research. Although I spent so much time rolling my eyes I'm not sure I got much out of it.)
LOL Sariah, that must have been torture to read! Sometimes research is NOT pretty.

Oh fuck me. Marlena wants to chat with Daniel about how she's not okay.
oh WHY do these writers have to waste Deidre's talent and Marlena's airtime on something this stupid??? :censored: (for a moment I was hoping the reference "she's not okay" would mean her dealing with her divorce, but ah, should've known better) Yeah, I was hoping that too, BUT if it had been that her talking to Daniel about it would've been even MORE unbearable kwim?

I love how Will is draped all over Sonny in this scene - it's little stuff like that that GW has brought to the relationship. If I recall correctly, CM's Will was always draping himself on Sonny too.
I really do love the chemistry with Guy and Freddie though! They definitely have a sexier dynamic! :wub2:

Nicole to Eric: "Obviously I can't keep secrets from you." Me: "Oh, really? REALLY?" smdh
A thousand eye rolls at that Nicole statement  I don't know. . . the eye rolling is pretty evenly tied with Daniel's "Nicole never lies" statement. ;)

Today was totally topsy turvey and flat, especially for a sweeps episode that should have been furthering the major umbrella story for sweeps. Lucas is missing his granddaughter's first birthday because he's being questioned for Nick's murder and Hope straight up accuses him of killing Nick. Furthermore, it really looks like Lucas killed him, whether he did or not. Meanwhile, his son is wondering where he is.
This could have been a completely dramatic setup, with Will finding out Lucas is under arrest and say maybe calling Aiden since Justin is out of town. This could have been written as a great cliffhanger. Will could say to Sonny (while holding Arianna) - I know what I have to do or some such.
But instead, the prime focus in St. Orange and his moral crisis over Nicole deceiving Eric. It's bizarre that the murder mystery plays B plot to the mess that used to be Ericole but is now a Daniel story.

I don't get it. Isn't Abby suppose to be the heroine here? Just from the play by play, she's coming off very poorly here. IDK why anything EJ says about how his hit man didn't pull the trigger should make a difference to Abby. This shouldn't stop Abby from going to Hope. It seems like it's all about her reputation which makes her look bad. At least if EJ would have threatened her life I could understand. Or is Abby going to start to think EJ has feeling for her since he "opened up" to her about the hit man?
After the way he treated her today, she's the biggest fool in Salem if she thinks he has 'feelings' for her. LOL
Why? Just because he's willing to have somebody KILLED to make sure their relationship never comes into the light of day? LMAO. It's weird though because I have always thought Abby was a pretty bright girl and he's said and done some things that would have tipped me off that Cousin Nick had "the goods" on a lot of people in Salem. I'm ready for Abby to start nosing around and find out those secrets!!

The Abby / EJ stuff was kind of ... oh I don't know ... unfulfilling. The scenes didn't live up to my expectations ... but then if I knew what my expectations were I might be able to clarify that better ... It just seemed like Abby was all wild and full of spitfire and then blink - she was accepting what EJ was saying. And then Sami shows up. I'm at the point I wonder if the truth will come out. With both Sami and EJ leaving Salem, what's the point - unless it's to split them up for good and have them go in separate directions. I don't get any sense at all that Sami knows about EJ and Abby's fling - she will be devastated when she finds out the truth (if she does).
Baby Ari stole those scenes at the party. Loved when she posed and smiled for the cell phone cameras - so cute.
I'm at point where I can't wait for Nicole's lies to blow up in her face. She just keeps piling one lie on top of another - they are going to topple and crush her and it can't happen soon enough!
Goodness Hope is really 'grilling' Lucas. I'm guessing that was the ballistics report she received and she will know that Lucas is telling the truth as the gun used to kill Nick will be different than Kate's gun. That's just my guess at this point.

Hmmmm…. Will saying Sami got a text this morning she was unhappy about, Kami conversation we didn't see, both of them acting suspicious after, and Sami walking in on Ejabby and acting all nonchalant. Yep, I'm thinking Sami totally knows and is starting her revenge plot.
This is certainly better than her crying her eyes out about how ugly she is. HOLY CRAP! What if her and Kate are in cahoots to bring down the Dimeras?
I'm glad you pointed out that we DID miss that Kami scene because I thought I'd dozed off. . .

Lauren said the final storyline with Sami is 'what she's always wanted' for the two of them. If it's half as good as the imaginations on this board, I'll be so on board. Any other reason for Kate giving Stefano the time of day doesn't work for me.
