It actually depends on how strong is the competition. I agree, "Days" had really a solid year. But I can see Y&R winning Best Drama Series at the Emmys even though the show was far away from having it's best year (mildly speaking). They just have a couple of quite impressing episodes (around Delia's hit and run). That could be enough for them to win. Sadly. Edited by thepadange, May 28 2014, 11:51 AM.

Yeah right, lol. First of all, things change, second of all, it's not exactly like she couldn't be brought back from the dead, is it. Edited by Yoryla, May 28 2014, 11:58 AM.

I remember Rene saying she wanted that type of death for Lexie so that she couldn't be brought back. But they could always bring on someone very Lexie like (played by another actress) to the show. |

Good God. I see that KC's bad taste isn't just limited to the characters he likes. |

That pic does explain some of the wardrobe choices we question if he has anything to do with hiring the wardrobe people. |

I do love that so many former castmates came to say goodbye to Ali. That's pretty spectacular. I know many found the character of Sami way too overexposed lately, but Ali is a Daytime legend and Sami will go down as one of the most popular characters ever on the show. Days is going to be a totally different show without her. |

LMAO Remember when Nikki Wade always chased Abe at the police station and Shenanighan's. She was always up in all the business. |

It's also possible they were hired by the show to appear, kinda like when that girl from the online version of AMC auditioned with a bunch of girls she'd never met before. |

They submitted both of Kristen's disastrous weddings. And don't count out DAYS for next year's Emmys, just yet. If they submit any of the stuff from WilSon's wedding, they got it. |

^I would highly disagree with that last 2 sentences of your post. There was absolutely nothing from the WilSon Wedding that has ANY business winning this show a Drama Series Emmy. |

I remember thinking that there was at least a twenty years age difference between JR and Renee and shock to find out that he was only about ten years older than her. |

While I agree that the WilSon wedding would not warrant a "Best Drama" Emmy, I'd bet your britches that Peggy McCay could score an Emmy nom for Caroline's beautiful speech to the grooms. Although this time, it'll be for Supporting Actress, where she belongs ;) |

Have to agree, on that, even though the Wilson wedding was beautiful, and I wouldn't change almost a thing about it, it wasn't high drama Emmy material. I'm glad it wasn't, because I actually wanted for Wilson to get married and be happy, which they did. |
