I just cannot agree with Gabi being a heroine here. After what she did to Melanie...whom I hate with every fiber of my being, mind you. She kept that a secret and I will always remember her snide remarks to Sonny and chad whenever it was brought up. She thought she could get away with it forever and guess what? I am so damned glad it came out today..bout time it did. And I have no sympathy for her in her killing of Nick. She or any one of them could have gone to the police at any time. It didn't have to come to this..Nick died because 1: To hide their crimes and 2: because the writers are fucking idiots. I know Blake wanted to leave the show, ugh but not this way, damn it!
So its ok for Nicole to keep secrets because she's a popular rootable character but not Gabi. Sorry folks wether I'm a fan or not rights right and wrongs wrong.
I never once said what Nicole did was right..not once! The damned writers cannot write for her at all. But yeah I am more sympathetic for her then I ever would be for Gabi. I just have a bad feeling that they finally listened to the fans about hating GAGGIFER and their plan are to break them up and have Nicole and Dr. Dan together. That would be a shit fest. Your right about the shit fest.

Sonny just called what Will did "romantic". Yep, I hate this.
They look like complete douches today by basking in their love for each other rather than crying over Gabi.
Yeah, the writing for WilSon has been really bad these past two weeks. Will and Sonny should not be celebrating right now about how happy they are to "fill in the blanks" for Gabi and saying how "brave" and "romantic" Will's decision was. They should be supporting Gabi. And feeling more guilty for giving her the means to shoot Nick. And they had no right to have that gun in their house. It wasn't registered to them and was taken from Victor's house without his permission.

I'm stunned. I can't believe how much my opinion of CB and Gabi has changed over the past year.
CB has grown so much since I first saw her as Lola.

Is it me or did Sonny and Will seem a little too cheerful today?
I understand Gabi has done unsympathetic things in the past, but I'm sad she is leaving. They just almost lost each other for a long time, it makes sense that they should be relieved about that. The fact that Will did not want to leave the police station without seeing Gabi, that Sonny was on the phone finding out when they could go and see Gabi. and other comments show that they are not indifferent to what is happening.

I'll admit that I didn't pay much attention to the dannifer/Liam stuff, but is it really even remotely Nicole's fault that Jennifer almost died?
Not at all. I hate that they are saying that Nicole "almost got Jennifer killed". Um, Liam had Jennifer at the cabin well before Nicole showed up. Just more lazy writing and another way to make Nicole look bad for the sake of Dannifer. Didn't Nicole know that Liam was stalking Jennifer before he went up to the cabin? Didn't she confront him about it before he went to the cabin and not tell anyone?

I couldn't agree more! Eric has every right to whatever reaction he so chooses. I don't believe being a priest or someone of faith automatically means you sit back and accept any crappy thing that is done to you.
But that's exactly what he did. Nicole and Daniel are the ones who went after Chyka to get the evidence in the first place while Eric was off soul-searching. And this was after Chyka damn near killed him and Nicole. He was more interested in finding himself than finding the truth. He needs to fight his own battles next time.
Daniel and Nicole didn't have to chase Chyka. They could have informed the police where he was hiding. Eric is not to blame for that. Eric barely had a pov in the rape storyline. I don't think Eric was making Nicole a second choice at all. He chose Nicole. I am just glad shredgate is over. TPTB destroyed Ericole. If we are stuck with Jeneric and Dicole, I'm going to cry. I'm 99,9999999% sure this is where the writing is heading. :puke:

Don't forget that Ari was in the hands of the social worker when Gabi arrived, so I certainly get that they wanted to get her and bring her home and away from the chaos of the police station. I also thought GW was playing Will as a bit shell shocked when he was talking about Ari.
If I could criticize the writing it's that Will seemed to accept Gabi wasn't going to be around, instead of clinging to the Hope that EJ could help her beat the rap, what with the "Listen to EJ" from earlier.

Marlena says Eric was really happy. Marlena says that Eric told her to watch out for him. What does that me?
Eric is pacing around Nicole and telling her that she's trying to spin it. He says she destroyed the evidence. He yells at her when she doesn't respond. She admits to destroying the evidence. I wish they'd explain what it means too because I just don't get why we even had a Marlena/Jen Jen scene today . . . at all.

I'm not liking GV's acting choices today. Maybe he doesn't do mad well?
Circling around Nicole like a vulture. Dramatic speech.
This coming from an Eric lover.

Pretty sure it's the former. The writing had it play like Nathan was all about Melanie and not Stephanie, but Mark sure as heck had the opposite reactions (most likely b/c in real life he was more attracted to Shelley, which who can honestly blame him, she's gorgeous).
And in soap life, Nathan and Phillip should have been more into Stephanie than Melanie too.
I thought Philip/Stephanie had so much potential. If they would have let the families be involved as some major opposition, instead of dumping SN and MBE, it could have been even better. I never liked Philip and Stephanie. After the Morgan fiasco, I was done with him dating teenagers and wanted him back with Chloe. Tomlin talked about the Phloe chemistry when he came back on board in an SOD article, Philip admitted he was in love with Chloe...and then starts dating Stephanie and didn't talk to Chloe for like over a year. It was weird. I didn't like it. Plus, they wrote Philip and Stephanie's relationship pretty badly.

Well, that's just like Days. Can't let Daniel and Jennifer escape victimhood. I can't wait for the scenes where she begs for forgiveness, then they absolve her.
ETA: Wait, if she knew Liam was stalking Jennifer and she just didn't say anything, I can see where Eric is coming from.

Will said to Gabi to listen to EJ and let him help her out... he didn't leave Gabi completely defenseless but there is a small child involved above all else so that did take some priority.

I don't like how Will is being treated as if his false confession was romantic and brave. Give me a break.

Sonny was on the phone and says they can't see Gabi for awhile. Wilson talk about how they need to communicate with each other better, especially now that they are all Ari has. Sonny says Will is a romantic idiot and he can't believe Will would think he would let Will go to prison for him. They hug.
DA is snarking to EJ. Gabi confesses and tearfully apologizes to Hope, who says Nick didn't deserve to die. After she leaves, Gabi cries to EJ that she wants to hold Arianna. Gabi weeps that she's never going to see Arianna again. (??? You can visit people in prison).
Sami hugs Rafe in HTS and says I'm so sorry.
Jen-Jen searches for Daniel.
Eric loses all sympathy for Nicole and says what she did had nothing to do with love. You know, even if that remark from the DA was justly deserved, it was VERY unprofessional. I wondered if it was a bit of foreshadowing as well??? :glare:

Also, it's Sonny who seems more happy than Will, who seems more pensive. Sonny cares enough about Ari that I'm sure he's going to be sad for the loss of her mother, but I think it's probably also incredibly relieved he's not married to Nick's killer. Will's probably relieved that Sonny didn't do it, but his feelings seem more mixed to me.

I much prefer EJ as a lawyer and not as a corporate shark. I think EJ prefers it too as JS is very animated when discussing Gabi's defence with her. Speaking of Gabi, CB is really killing her confession scenes, I am so glad that she was the one who told the Melanie secret even though it was an abridged version of events. This is her best work on this show I think, this episode is definitely Camilla's emmy reel submission imo.
EJ is working hard to help Gabi get the best deal she can, I personally don't think WilSon could care less about her now that Will is off the hook. Both Will and Sonny seem concerned for Gabi and the impact Gabi's absence will have on Arianna's life. I also think that Will confessing wasn't just about protecting Sonny but also about Will's guilt concerning his shooting EJ as well as the guilt and shame he still carries for not standing up to Nick and allowing himself to be pushed around. Gabi's has made her own fate in that she wants to be punished for her actions, now all that can be done is to try and lessen her punishment and the time she will serve. WilSon taking Ari home does not make them the villains here, imo.
In other storylines: A giant anvil is falling from the sky and is heading Jafe's way...their happiness is about to be destroyed.
Interesting but unimportant: I wonder what file Sami was reading when Lucas walked in? Have we seen DA Jenkins before? I liked her.
Fashion Police: Jennifer matched her pantsuit to her skin tone.....this is not fashion forward this is what I call a fashion flashback. Nicole otoh looks great, I love the colour of her sweater and paired with the white jeans is very spring/early summer like.

I know what Nicole did was wrong but Eric being a former priest he sure is quick to hate and slow in forgiving, isn't he? Throws tantrums and forgets that he is supposed to forgive and not judge. Heck, he was kinda that way when he WAS a priest as well.

Sonny just called what Will did "romantic". Yep, I hate this.
To Sonny it was proof that Will really would do anything at all for him that all I think Sonny meant by his comment I know what he meant when he said it. That doesn't make it any less ridiculous.

Oh my gosh, it's so unfair that the writers waited until today to give CB material like this. She is so good today that I'm actually in tears. And that hardly ever happens with Days anymore. #TeamGabi I loved the flashbacks, too.
