When did I ever say that it isn't her opinion? I'm asking how come she feels that he is arrogant and smug. I happen to see it differently which is also my opinion Edited by DaysAddiction, Jun 2 2014, 05:00 PM.

YouTube - I started watching again in September 2012, so the only way I could see Gabi, Melanie and the stalker scenes were to see them on Youtube because they happened in the summer of 2012. The only parts I saw live were the fallout when Nick returned and Melanie left Salem. |

Elvis DiMera, attorney at law (haha), proved today that he's unethical and should be disbarred. He had no business jumping in to represent Gabi knowing that he would be advising her in a case which he is eminently involved and having selfish motives to advise her to confess. |

No I watched full episodes on television. I started watching when the whole ordeal when EJ ran for mayor in Salem occurred. Edited by DaysAddiction, Jun 2 2014, 04:59 PM.

Those babies are so smart! It's too bad that Will's good-bye speech last week had to be in the HTS because Ari was unusually (but naturally) inattentive because of all the extra people milling around. |

Okay it's two years. My point is I haven't been watching very long. At least I don't consider two years very long. |

Then, depending on when in that story arc you started watching, you might have been watching since 2011. That story arc ran from the fall of 2011 to the spring of 2012 or so. In any case, you can definitely boast that you've been watching for more than one year. ;) |

Camilla! When she used her fingers to point to her eye and spoke of seeing Nick, I just marveled at what a really good actor she became while I watched. Then I thought what a damn shame she's right behind BB and about all the great scenes that could have been. Eric is just ludicrous. What an asshole. I liked Nicole's explanation. Just wished she'd made as big a deal as Hope did about any evidence she and Douchial found being non-admissible in court. It would have bolstered her (actually good) argument. St. Eric DID tell her he chose her. I guess he did so because moving into the abbey with the creepy monk as a way to stay in the church didn't sound as pleasant as being with Nicole. This whole Catholic church won't forgive Eric Brady for his "sin" is ludicrous, anyway. |

Weren't Sami & EJ in bed while the whole Smith Island thing was going on too? I remember the juxtaposition of the two scenes then as well. |

I agree, CB was just wonderful today. I agree with the others -- I wish she had gone into more detail about things getting physical with Nick and, specifically, that he had tried to rape her. I actually liked Nabi before it all went creepy-stalkery/abusive. At this point I'm willing to wait and see how Eric reacts. He just found out what Nicole did so I'm okay with him being pissed off. If she turns into the town pariah again, I'll be super-angry, though. The evidence was inadmissible in court and the Church may or may not have believed it was real, but we'll never know. I agree, the Church not forgiving him is a little ridiculous. As angry as I am that the writers made such an intolerable mess of the Ericole storyline, I'm more upset over the wasted potential. It would have been so fabulously angsty if Nicole had given him the evidence and Eric had gone back to the Church and begun pining over Nicole, realizing that being a priest isn't what he really wanted and that he was in it for the wrong reasons. So much glorious potential down the crapper. Thanks, idiots. |

Its a device to show how happy and carefree they are as we the audience know their life is just about to come crashing down. |

Earlier you seemed to not like being questioned regarding your opinion & felt like your opinion wasnt being validated. Then, you proceeded to say the last poster & you seemed to not watch the same show because her opinion differed from yours. I was just pointing out that's her opinion. |

Rafe is the I am always right kind of guy. He is a law abiding officer when it suits him. I found it so ridiculous that he was willing to cover up the fact that Sami shot EJ, but he wouldn't lie about Bernardi because of how truthful and lawful he is. When Jordan said she had a job offer and was going to move, he made it all about him, he didn't offer to go with her, he wanted her doing the sacrificing. The way he talks kind of reminds me of Sylester Stallone in Rocky, before he got a little smarter, the only difference is I liked Rocky. He made it work and GG doesn't, at least not for me. |

As I have pointed out before (but not in this thread), these arguments miss the point. Whether the evidence was admissible in court is irrelevant. Whether Eric would have been allowed to return to the priesthood on the strength of the evidence is irrelevant. More than anything else, what is relevant is that Nicole took away -- from the person she claims to love -- the one thing that could have given him peace of mind, the one thing that could have proven, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that he was innocent -- if not to anyone else, then at least to himself. Everything else that could have come out of her doing the right thing and giving him the evidence is secondary to that. No matter how sympathetic Nicole is or how good Arianne Zucker is at portraying her, what Nicole did was not an act of love, period. Eric has every right to be upset with her for as long as he wants to be. If the tables were turned and Nicole had learned that Eric had destroyed evidence that could have proven that her father had forced her into the porn industry and that she had never been a willing participant, I'm sure that she would have been livid, even if he'd had what he believed was a very good reason for doing so. |
