When Eric first came into town, he had a conversation with Will. Will said that he knew what Eric's church said about being gay and that Eric shouldn't expect to change Will. Eric said he's not in the judgment business. It was a nice scene, with neither character coming off badly. (I always liked the fact that Will's sexuality informed his skepticism of organized religion. It's nice to have a character on the canvas that isn't religious just to even things out.) |

Nothing ruins an episode like Dannifer. They weren't even in the same room together, and just the continuous mention of his name ruined some good Nicole/Jennifer confrontation scenes. And don't even get me started on Eric/Daniel. The amount of praise in those scenes was disgusting. Although Nicole slapping Daniel was LOVELY. End this friendship NOW! The teen crap is terrible. I can't even pretend to be interested in them. The Kate/Gabi scenes were awesome. Lauren Koslow slays me. I liked that Kate subtly referred to her history with Curtis. NICE story beat that I definitely wasn't expecting! |

She sure wasn't minding her own business when she was eavesdropping on Daniel and Nicole's conversation while deciding to go tattle to Eric about what she heard. Nicole is in the wrong but that doesn't make Jennifer anymore likable. |

Part of the reason why Jennifer did tell Eric was because she is jealous of Daniel and Nicole's friendship, but she didn't have the balls to own up to that. I can't believe that I'm looking forward to a Dannifer scene, but I am.......when Daniel breaks things off with Jen Jen. |

This love scene made me SICK to my stomach....I wanted to murder both of them at the time. I absolutely hated Mike & Carrie. |

I'm not surprised that Ericole has been secondary and they didn't end up together. In January 2013, Corday was giving Feb sweeps spoilers in an interview and said that they were a long way from where fans thought they were going with Eric and Nicole. |

I found her quite a bit more likable because of the things she said to Nicole today. Also, it was wrong of Daniel and Nicole to keep Eric in the dark for so long and I'm glad someone finally told him the truth. It clearly wasn't ever going to be Nicole, and Daniel was way too trusting of Nicole to ever make sure she told the truth. Edited by six, Jun 9 2014, 02:09 PM.

I started despising Sami when she mocked Nicole's dead babies to her face. The bitch can't leave soon enough for me. |

Found the clip. I put it behind the spoiler tag. Spoiler: click to toggle (Warning! the first part of the clip is all about the plan to have Nick be Ari's dad. Ewww.) I recommend skipping straight to 5:30 on this clip. Great Eric-Will scene. Eric and Will meet after years apart -- Will is now an adult gay man and Eric is a priest. A bit of awkwardness. Then they shift to what might seem to be a discussion about football ... how Eric is a Wisconsin cheese-head (supporting the Green Bay Packers) but Will supports the Chicago Bears. -- but then Eric seamlessly goes back to the main topic with a metaphor: "I bet on you, whatever team you choose. I just want you to be happy, fulfilled in life." Edited by nananana7, Jun 9 2014, 02:19 PM.

They are, but I blame the headwriters. They are the ones directing what the script writers write. |

Yes, Jennifer was right about Nicole. She was so absolutely, unlikably right. But her actions, attitudes and motivations about Nicole are all wrong, because they are always all about keeping her iron grip on Daniel, not about doing the right thing for Eric or anybody else. So Nicole, who was all wrong in what she did to Eric is still absolutely, likably right in her assessment of Jennifer. It can be very soapy to have the woman (and this usually happens between soap women) doing the 'right thing' be an insufferable, self righteous bitch and the woman making all the wrong moves be a relatable, rootable vixen. But that works when the audience and the writers are on the same page about the self righteous character. Here the character of Jennifer has been written as repeatedly going to sanctimonious, bitchy extremes since her pairing with Daniel, all of which has been reinforced by Melissa Reeves' bitter acting choices. And yet Jennifer is still served up as the Horton Heroine she used to be...back when she was likable with Jack. And Nicole is...once again...just another whipping girl for Jennifer's righteous entitlement. And so on and so on...and over and over...and yet Fetch never happens. The only way to make good soap again with these characters is to change the Fetch End Game...and give Jennifer's character a radical reboot. My preference: Give this DanJen a mental breakdown like her mother had. Send her off to the mental institution for a character rest. Then bring her back some time as she was when she was JackJen. #JenMental |
