When is the last time Days did a rehearsal dinner for a wedding? I can't even remember. Anyway, I think it would be awesome if Sami started acting really strange just before the wedding and showed up in a black dress or something to throw EJ off. And it would be a cool nod to the first EJami wedding.
With how well the engagement party went, you would think they would skip the formalities & go straight to the wedding. With their track record for weddings (specifically EJ's track record with weddings for Sami) you'd think they'd go straight to a court house.

I just wish they'd get on with the damn thing already. EJami has been engaged for well over a year, and their engagement party was in October. It's time to speed things up, lol.

He'll need a helmet too with sure-shot Sami & Abby both in attendence ;)
Funny thing is, it looks like he'll make it through the wedding just to end up in an urn as a newlywed.

If it's Sami's wedding, then it's odd that Hope and Marlena are also dressed in white. I think it's a rule of etiquette that women aren't supposed to wear white to someone else's wedding. (Or maybe Marlena and Hope are wearing white bridesmaid dresses that Sami picked out for them? Granted, I doubt that Hope and Marlena would want to be Sami's bridesmaids.)
Yeah I always thought it was customary that female guests are forbidden to wear white dresses at an American wedding.
American weddings do not have a "forbidden" clause. Plenty of people wear white (and black) to weddings.

American weddings do not have a "forbidden" clause. Plenty of people wear white (and black) to weddings. Americans can wear some weird things to weddings! :D Seriously, the whole white thing was supposed to represent virginity. I honestly think that representation is probably 99 percent not accurate anymore, so heck! Etiquette is sort of not an issue anymore.

Regarding my prior statement "I always thought it was customary that female guests are forbidden to wear white dresses at an American wedding" ... I chose the wrong word. I didn't mean "legally forbidden". I meant socially unacceptable, or bad etiquette ... because it was seen as rude to the bride. The old custom was that ... any female guest wearing a mostly-white dress would be considered to taking focus away from the bride.
Regarding the pics of Sami and several other women wearing white during the week of the wedding. I can see now that maybe those pics were for a family party. Or for a rehearsal dinner as someone suggested.
For the actual wedding, perhaps Sami will wear something nontraditional? Who knows what the guests will wear. Or maybe Sami tells everyone to wear white to her wedding. Who knows?
My knowledge of customs is somewhat antiquated. And I'm clueless about fashion. Therefore, I probably shouldn't comment on what anyone should or shouldn't be wearing.
All I can really say is what I personally find to be pretty or becoming.

I donīt really feel excited about Ejamiīs wedding with Ejabby hanging over their heads itīs not the wedding I wanted for them. It might still be good drama though but if Sami knows about Ejabby she probably will tell EJ about it when they are alone after the cermony so there might not even be that much drama when there isnīt a audience. I hope Iīm wrong though and that I will enjoy it.

All I can really say is what I personally find to be pretty or becoming. I agree, in general, it's bad form for guests to wear white or anything that would take focus away from the bride. Of course, there are people who do it, just like there are people who burp in public and people who don't mean any harm but are ignorant. Years ago, a relative of mine wore a tiny white dress to a wedding and the bridesmaids were sure to make a remark about it.
It looks to me like Sami is wearing either a wedding dress or has changed to something less formal for the reception. Hope looks like she's wearing a a white tank that would be worn under a blazer.

they filmed something else where Sami is dressed up and wearing something dark. That's actually more interesting to me.

Sometimes, it could be a summer white wedding theme where the bride asks everyone to wear white. There's always exceptions. Especially if you're P.Diddy. At a bride's request, the guest is not taking away focus from the bride. I went to an evening wedding and the bride asked everyone to wear black.

Happy Fathers Day, to the men of DR whether you're a biological, adoptive, step or a father figure. Or, in the tradition of our show, pretending to be the father so the mother can escape the biological father while she's falling in love with the person she'd want to be the stepfather.
