I wish Hope or Gabi would have clued Julie in on just how delusional and evil Nick was in the end. I don't like this vindictive side of Julie at all. Sure he repented for what he did to Melanie et al but then he turned around and did worse to so many other people. So Gabi didn't take his second chance - more like his third or fourth try. Julie has blinders on when it comes to Nick.

I think deep down she knew Nick was cracking. But she probably just needs to believe that he wanted to change. I think that's probably why she's so angry.

I think she knows he needed help and she feels Gabi deprived him of the chance to get it. It's a good thing she didn't hear Nick's phone call to Marlena.

The man is dead so technically he is the victim.
Becoming a victim at the very end of the storyline doesn't change or excuse the fact that he was victimizing people for months prior to that ending. Nick was Gabi's abuser (and not only hers) long before he became her victim (as a result of a bed of his own making). Julie is acting like loving Gabi was Nick's only crime. :eyeroll:

If there were no blackmail involved and no other characters involved with their schemes. And it was pure abuse she had suffered at his hands then I would have lots more sympathy for her. As it is..nope. And only 10 years? That is a WOW.
Well Nick only served four and he actually took the time to try and frame someone else. Looks like she got screwed to me.

I don't know ... the Kate, Marlena, Sami scenes fell flat for me. I blame that on today's script writer.

It did feel flat. No real emotion in those scenes at all. The same way with Marlena/Sami. My goodness. How many times do we have to hear a grown ass woman whining about someone else being the reason they are the way they are. Give me a break.
Did anyone else notice the incongruency I did?

Yep. I was really looking forward to those scenes.

But if that is her sentence, she will probably be out in half the time with the overcrowding, good behavior, etc.

I always cringed at Deidre Hall's dear in a headlight, in a dazed acting.

The only scenes I've enjoyed her in lately, is with Eric. They have wonderful mother/son chemistry together. The same way I loved her and Chandler scenes together. :(

I don't like that Marlena isn't defending what she did at Brady and Kristen's wedding. Sami and Kate make it sound like Marlena knew that it was Eric in the video having sex with Kristen. Didn't Marlena think it was Daniel in the video? Why isn't she defending herself?
But, that would mean the writers gave Marlena an opinion and feelings and such...
I have to disagree. I don't think that was the point of the dialogue at all. The point that Kate was making was that Marlena had done something that had arguably been misguided in the name of protecting a loved one, just like Kate and Sami had done. Marlena's suspicions at that time about the identity of the man in the video are irrelevant -- she knowingly showed a sex tape in a church in an effort to expose Kristen and protect Brady, and it backfired. Kate and Sami knowingly covered up what they believed was a self-defense killing in an effort to protect Gabi, and it backfired.

I don't think the two scenarios are as similar as Kate wanted them to be, but I think she made a fair argument. Marlena's response certainly didn't help her case, lol. She might as well I have said "I am rubber, you are glue"

Didn't know that, and though I did not like Nick that kinda sucks.

ETA: Did he do something that extended his sentence?

Nicole continuing to blame Dan and Jen for the predicament she finds herself in is beyond pathetic. She is where she is because she and she alone chose to lie to Eric and everyone else claiming she found no evidence at Chyka's hideout. She even shredded that evidence. She deserves all of Eric's anger and scorn along with everyone else's. I have no sympathy for her at all. Maybe if she would finally admit that what she did was wrong and stop making excuses for herself and stop blaming everyone else ... then maybe I can feel for her again.

And the teen scene ... continues to bore! But I am curious, are Paige and JJ actually going to do the deed?

I can see it already and I don't like it ... Dan and Jen are going to go around in circles now for weeks talking about the same thing just like Dan and Nicole have done the past few weeks. I'm bored already and they're just getting started.

I don't know ... the Kate, Marlena, Sami scenes fell flat for me. I blame that on today's script writer.

Nicole shouldn't have shredded the evidence but Daniel and Jennifer are being intrusive. It's none of their business. Nicole knew Eric would rather work a priest instead of being with her so out of selfishness she didn't provide him with this evidence. I agree she should have given him the evidence but she wanted a relationship with him and she couldn't have a romantic relationship with him if he is a priest.

I'm quoting myself because my post was long, and I want an actual answer on this.

Quote:

I would like FOR ONCE for someone to actually answer this. Are there scenes I'm just forgetting where Marlena has listed Sami's crimes for the beginning or gone back and scolded her for the stuff from the past? I can't think of a single time that's happened, and yet I can think of several times Sami has accused her of doing it. It's frustrating to me because it seems to have just been accepted on soap boards that that's what always happens, but I've never actually seen it happen...let alone always. So someone please. Show me what you/they are talking about.

When Nick kill Trent it was to save Melanie and when he did that and tried to frame Melanie it was clear than he was not in his right mind that pills affected him and instead senting him to mental hospital he was sent to jail with hard criminals and was more time in jail than he should when did behave bad in jail at all. While Gabi shot Nick three times and put Melanie in danger with the Andrew stuff

Nicole to Daniel: 'Why? Just tell me why you ruined my life? I only wanted to be happy?'

Girl is still looking for answers in all the wrong places. :-/ She should be looking in the mirror while asking these questions. :(
Nicole, Sami, and Kristen are all masters of blaming everyone else for the crap they do.

Kate and Sami say they were trying to help Gabi. Marlena says that you two convinced that girl to do something stupid. She says they have poor judgment. Kate says you showed that video of your son having sex to the whole congregation.

GMAB Kate. Marlena had no idea that Eric was on the tape. Gabi's life is ruined because of the mess they dragged her into at the river.
It seems like people forget that or just like to ignore it. Marlena had no idea what exactly was on that tape because Victor (who literally no one is blaming at all) manipulated her and the situation. She was told it was proof Kristen had cheated on Brady, not that her son was raped.
Yep, and Kate knows that. The fact that she tried to throw it in Marlena's face was just disgusting and pathetic.

:applause: preach it! I am so sick of the victimization people do on this show when they are confronted with their own misdeeds
